"Which software has been the most generous to you/"

Maybe I am the only one but I have really no idea of which software I have won the most on.

You're not alone :) IN comparative terms I play mainly at MG I guess but I dabble on Crypto and Wagerworks and Playtech. Couldn't begin to guess which did best for me tho.

Interesting thread, MG seems to be the most popular yet it doesn't seem to be the most generous in peoples lists. Could this be because of the immense choice of games on offer.

I play at 888 quite a bit, and there you are forced to play more card games and less slots (because they only have a limited number of them) so results at 888 are usually pretty steady, whereas a long cold streak on the MG slots can wipe you out. But for the really bit hits for me nothing beats MG and thats what keeps my interest in them.

In answer to the original question posed on this thread, I feel that there really is little between the major software brands when it comes to results, more to do with the type of games you play at them, that determines your fate!

If you had a casino that only had one game which was Blackjack, then your results would probably be ok as your not sidetracked into getting your ass kicked on slots!

Your results would be reasonably consistent, but there'd be NO big hits anywhere!!!

For me, I'd say the list is as follows in terms of return this year:

1) Wagerworks
2) CryptoLogic
3) Microgaming
4) Playtech
5) RTG

Thank you Cleopatra for by far the most fun, and the best returns

Here are mine, which seem to differ a bit from the norm..

1) Player Preferred
2) Microgaming
3) RTG
4) Cryptologic
5) Playtech

That's it! Some good runs. Playtech wins were definitely at the bottom of the list and, had I played more different types of casinos, would have likely surfaced at the bottom of all of them :(

Last quarter of 2005 and 2006

Withdraw/Deposit ratio (Return Of Investment)

---- 1-7: Net winners
1. SB Proprietary -- Two casinos, one slightly above expectation, but at the other, I cashed out 24x my deposit.
2. Real Time Gaming -- 3 casinos. Two below expectations, the third: cashout = 20x my deposit.
3. Grand Virtual -- Gains above expectations, 1 casino.
4. Random Logic / Cassava -- 1 casino, done well.
5. Wager21 -- 1 casino, far above expectations, the games are indeed "strange".
6. Playtech -- 9-10 casinos. Above expectations.
7. iGlobalMedia -- 3 casinos, 1 far above, two far below expectations.

---- 8-11 small net winners (because of the bonus) or break-even with the bonus.
8. Chartwell 5 casinos, 1 far above, the others far below expectations. I don't think I will play there any more, the sw is very slow.
9. Boss Media -- 6-7 Casinos. Nothing special, probably break-even. One casino contributed to the majority of my losses.
10. Net Entertainment / Instaplay -- 2 casinos, nothing special.
11. Kismet -- 1 casino, below expectations.

---- 11-15 net losers
12. Rival -- 1 casino. Overall results are slightly below expecations.
13. Microgaming -- 6-7 casinos. Usually bad luck, with one exception.
14. Odds On -- 1 casino. Gains far below expectations. Biggest one-time loss, ~20% house edge for me.
15. Cryptologic -- 3 casinos, one gains faaaaar below expectations for me.

Overall net win "luckometer" (bonuses deducted)

1. Real Time Gaming
2. SB Proprietary
3. Playtech
4. Grand Virtual
5. Wager21
6. Random Logic
7. iGlobalMedia
----
8. Net Entertainment / Instaplay
----
9. Kismet
10. Chartwell
11. Boss Media
12. Microgaming
13. Rival
14. Odds On
15. Cryptologic

4)Playtech - Casino Tropez

[QUOTE=mikepipe; wagerworks (cleopatra)

Thought i would give "Bluesq casino" a try last week .......so i deposit 25 ...get a 25 match bonus ......played cleopatra (cos it looked same as the one at land based casino, so i was familiar with it) took the 2p line option at 2 per line so 80p spin i think ...almost straight away got bonus ...so then went 5x line so 2.00 spin .....45 minutes later i cashed out a total of 4800.00 was over 5k at one point .....

pretty good first time experience really .....25quid in 4800 out in 45 mins ....
not sure whether to visit again (cashed in my loyalty points but zilch) ......cos i just aint normally that lucky .

so gotta say ....at 2.00 spin Cleopatra is my new no 1.

i have only ever cashed out of micrgaming casinos, although i just started playing at rtg with real small spins on their slots and after taking my $20 deposit up to $60 playing vp job then i switched to slots at .20 a spin and slowly lost all of it...oh well so saD

 Hobo - are you talking UK land based casino's where you've seen it?? I've seen it in Vegas but never over here - and would be VERY interested if it was! Cheers!

yeah its at two land based casinos i know of here in Manchester, both run by Stanley Casinos, same bonus feature , only max payout 500 ... and if i remember min 5p bet upto max 2.50 . last time i played it was bout 3 weeks ago at "Circus Casino" (stanley) ......same slot as online.

1. Playtech (when U.S. Players could play there):D

2. Microgaming (especially Gaming Club);)

3.RTG (not slots, but Let 'em ride poker)

Wow! Cool! Thanks!

That worries me greatly however, as UK video slots still have a maximum payout of 500 as you say, hence the "trail" or "pick-em" style bonuses on UK video slots such as "Holy Grail" and "Rainbow Riches" etc... Sooooo the bonus "free spins" feature must be rigged to pay out a pre-determined amount - as we've all feared in the past! Proof at last! Even though we kind of knew that, it's still a bit depressing. Ah well...

hi maybe i worded it wrong ....the jackpot is 500 .....they will pay more...i..have been about 200 up on this machine and then hit the 500 jackpot so got a 700 payout .but this is very ( and i mean very) rare.

I know what you're saying, but these machines by (current) law can only pay out up to 500 per go, so it mustn't be able to pay more than 500 in the free spins.

I've never seen a UK B&M Slot that has a 'free spins' feature, all for this reason I assumed...

P.S - I too have had over 700 payouts from this machine, but that's been, like you say, a couple of good hits then a jackpot. Or a great feature trail... The 500 'per go' rule stands though.

most of the video slots have bonus rounds which feature free spins in "stanley and Grosvenor Casinos anyhow" , "Mermaids Millions" "Filthy Rich" etc... not sure about the 500 Jackpot rule though ....(unless its just been enforced) I was in A Stanley casino bout 2 months ago playing a slot called "Oceon Dreams" and it had a max Jackpot or payout of 4000 ... on a 2.00 stake ... i hit the jackpot on that once ...but was playing a 50p stake ...still not bad , about 80 quid in hit the feature of free spins and it hit the jackpot which at 50p was a 1000 ...... think its still there , and the "blues brothers" slot has a 4000 payout if i remember right.

favorite software

1. playtech - no comparison. I can't play there anymore because of US restriction, but they had two great, great slot games (Dr. Lovemore and A Night out)

2. RTG - before they changed software. It's terrible now and i don't even deposit

3. Microgaming - constant losing spins in general. Unfortunately I played at Intertops tonight and lost $300 in about 10 minutes on their slot games - no no bonus rounds and about 20 near misses.

Totally agree on all your points. I don't even remember all the games on Playtech - can we still play there for fun? I closed my account at Intertops - spent too much money with them. When I closed my account they did it immediately - within about 5 minutes of my e-mail - they could have cared less. I really miss some of the games at Playtech.
