Looking outside the "dirty, sleazy" industry rationale, it is also true that on Internet message boards posters come and go....and often come back again.
still. it just seems so odd when a frequent poster just vanishes and then reappears out of the blue in an obscure thread.
Thanks for asking, I have not been to the ATTIC but maybe for a minute or 2 until today. I think I posted 3 RF's in WSS's while I took a break one of which could also go in Sucks, lol.Just curious here - I enjoyed reading the posts of Fleur and Nash (especiallly the winners screenshots) but both seem to have vanished. Anyone know why?
Well Said and I suspect I will be on break again.Fleur, I have no idea Kmay. But for her sake, I really hope she has quit gambling completely.
As for Nash, I think he has just gotten fed up with the industry and all the sleazy, dirty stuff that goes on, much like myself. It wears on you after awhile. Sometimes you need to take a break. It gets disheartening when you see this industry getting older by the year, but with no improvements being made. No regulation, rogue casinos and rogue affiliates run rampant, casinos taking weeks to make payouts that should be able to be done within 24 hrs tops, T&C's that continually become more complicated and need the services of a gaming lawyer to decipher, bonuses that are geared towards siphoning off deposits rather than providing any incentive for the player, and these beyond ridiculous ID requests. We joke about providing these casinos with DNA/urine samples...don't laugh, that may someday become a reality. Of course, not for depositing...only if you manage to cashout. Doesn't matter if the deposits come from Osama Bin Laden, they just have to make sure they don't give any money back to him.
So....I think that's where Nash is gone...taking a break. Last time I spoke/emailed with him, he was pretty fed up with cowboy town. And I totally understand how he feels.
All true. I will keep some related thoughts to myself.Looking outside the "dirty, sleazy" industry rationale, it is also true that on Internet message boards posters come and go....and often come back again.
Definitely the NOTB but message boards evolve also whatever the reason, fwiw. It's the nature of the beast that folks develop other interests, membership of other boards or for a myriad other reasons are unable to devote the time needed.
@TB LOLOLstill. it just seems so odd when a frequent poster just vanishes and then reappears out of the blue in an obscure thread.
