I just want to make sure I understand this correctly.

The first post stated I should send my information to someone at PWC. The second post stated it should be sent to OPA Legal.

If I understand the second post correctly, I don't have to worry about sending my information to PWC. Now I just have to send it to OPA Legal.

Is this correct? I want to send my information towmorrow, and I don't want to miss out on this.

Thanks,
Dirk

Yes, please send your information for fairplay to opalegal only. Pwc got swamped with emails so we are going to help them sort it out.

OK Thanks. Will send sometime today.

Pwc got swamped with emails

Feel kind of bad for PWC, but this should give them an indication of the size of the problem.

Dirk

I already sent everything, but is PWC looking _only_ at Fairplay, or all of Tropika?

For now just Fairplay. I am sure we can prove just how dishonest Ashbee and company is. PWC does not want anything to do with dishonest operators.

On another note. We now have a police officer that is collecting information about fraud.

I will speak with him today again and then contact players about filing criminal charges.

And the stock exchange has now become interested in the tropika affair.

ITS GETTING GOOD. I PROMISED A STRONG HARD FOUGHT BATTLE AND I AM KEEPING MY PROMISE. UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE WE KNOW RIGHT JOHN ASHBEE?

NEWS FLASH:

MICROGAMING ANNOUNCEMENT

Microgaming announces that the licence for the operation of the group of
casinos owned by Tropika, and notably Fairplay Casino, has been terminated
with immediate effect. This termination does not affect Golden Riveira
casino. Microgaming is aware that for some time there have been player
allegations that pay outs to players have not been made by Tropika casinos.

In the interests of fairness, arrangements have been made for players that
have still not had their claims paid by Tropika, or the relevant Tropika
casino, by the 5th of July 2001, to put their claims to
PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc. (Johannesburg) (PwC). PwC will receive player's
complaints with a view to verifying the correctness thereof, and advising of
any amounts that should be paid. This process is entirely under the control
of PwC, and Microgaming will not be involved in any way. The funds to be
used for such payouts have been placed by Microgaming in a trust and are not
under the control or ownership of Microgaming. PwC will advise the trustees
of any amounts that should be paid.

All players who believe that they have a valid claim should approach PwC
from the 6th of July 2001 at the e-mail address given below. Players should
note that a time limit has been placed on the lodgement of such claims, and
all claims should be lodged by the 6th of August 2001.

Claims must be addressed to: trustadmin@pwcgaming.co.za. These claims should
clearly state the claimants full name and login-id as registered at the
casinos involved.

Well done. I have earlier confirmation of the action, but not the details as posted here.

OPA should be congratulated for its intense efforts to get things resolved. And Microgaming should be congratulated for doing the right thing despite trying circumstances.

To clear one point up - Golden Riviera is not owned by Tropika, but Tropika did provide all of the support for GR. Their operation will necessarily be subject to a short period of downtime in order that they may relocate their operations.
