Hi all

I tried joining worldwinner and they stated I could not because I am in a banned state:confused:, I am in florida, this state is not banned, at least that is what I thought. So they said they were going to ask their legal department, I wanted to send them the banned state list. If anyone could help I sure would appreciate it:) Thank you..

IIRC, these are the 14 Banned States by Microgaming...

The 14 banned states are :

District of Columbia
Illinois
Indiana
New Jersey
Michigan
South Dakota
Nevada
Missouri
New York
Louisiana
Oregon
Washington State
Wisconsin
Kentucky

Note: The District of Columbia is not actually a state, so that would only make 13 States on the list plus the DC.

Bordering States don't count, you just need to let the MG casino know that you are in fact in a bordering State so they can allow you to play there if you are currently blocked. You may just need to re-send them your ID again. You may appear to the MG casino to be in Kentucky if you are in a bordering State based on your IP address, but re-sending your ID will confirm that you are not.

As far as there being another State, I don't know of one.

Florida is not allowed to play "Skilled Games" as they call them been that way for years

Worldwinner isn't a casino, it's skill games. So, I'm not sure if the banned states list for casinos is applicable. Worldwinner is in Massachusettes. Can you play on TheGameShow network or any of the other skill game sites?

This is from the help section on Worldwinner. Hope this helps!

The rules governing sweepstakes, contests and tournaments with entry fees or prizes are determined by each individual state, not the federal government. In accordance with these laws, WorldWinner does not offer fee-based tournaments in all states.

The laws in the following states do not currently support skill-based cash tournaments:

*Arizona, Arkansas, Florida and South Carolina do appear to recognize an exemption for fixed fee, unlimited entry tournaments with predetermined and fixed prizes that are operated by a non-participating sponsor.

We strongly believe that skill-based gaming is different from games of chance. In addition, unlike gambling sites where the "house" is financially involved in the outcome of a game, WorldWinner only serves as a facilitator of tournaments and does not make any money from the outcome of any tournament.

We would encourage you to contact your state legislature if you disagree with your state's policy.

Thanks for the clarification I thought Florida didn't allow them

I really do find it hard to believe that site reaps no finacial gain tho
