When Casinos wont accept responsability for tech issues

Imagine this kind of problems happening constantly at Facebook, Twitter or similar. They would never be successful. But they don't, hence, it is possible to have strong and capable server structures in place.

My opinion is that the online gaming industry is sooooooo lucky that probably 50% or even 2/3 of their customers are addicted gamblers and go through pretty much any hoops and problems just to have their daily punt.

Yeah, complaints are made, rants posted, CS "harassed" and kept busy....but everybody still goes back and plays again!!!

Your right about going back and playing again, But I tell you something, So much choice now days, & I have literally put the ABS brakes on on most sites due to CS, Ok so there probably not going to miss my deposits but if all players took the same route I am pretty sure it would make some kind of dent

I have been back in i-gaming for about 6 months. I also have monitored and contributed to this forum for that period.

From what I see/read/experience, any online casino can do whatever they want, to whomever they want, whenever they want.

Read all T&C's of even the accredited casinos and it is pretty obvious that they reserve the right to:

-Void any and all winnings at any time, for any reason.
-Cancel any player's account at any time, for any reason.
-Absolve themselves of any technical issues.
-Change terms (including the T&C's themselves) at any time.
-Refuse to answer any questions pertaining to all of the above. That is, "All decisions are final."

The only fallback a player has is right here. This forum. That's it. I am aware of legal recourse available in the U.K. and elsewhere but I have never read of it resolving anything.

With all due respect to Bryan and Max and the rest of you helpful and experienced members, you are fighting a losing battle.

The gambling industry (online and B&M) as a whole is peopled by some pretty scummy folks. C'mon! It is run by sociopathic, amoral mobsters! It is linked to disgusting enterprises such as child prostitution, dog fighting, drug production and distribution, human trafficking etc.etc.

I applaud CM and crew for your efforts, but to try to bring a sense of integrity, fairness and plain old-fashioned good business practice to this industry is futile.

This is not a rant, nor is it my opinion. These are facts. I may get arguments to the contrary but the fact remains that when we walk into a casino or log on to a casino and we're putting ourselves at the mercy of, and indeed, contributing to the depravity and misery this industry thrives on.

Now, to tie this in with the thread, I personally avoid any contact with CS because I dislike the condescending, patronizing, circular answers when asking even general questions.

(Well now that I reread it, I guess it could be construed as a rant  )

Again, I may be wrong on some finer points, but I think I'm pretty close to the mark.

I think I'll go deposit now Harry :p

we should make a thread called THE COOKIE CRUMBLES AGAIN, Than use it to name and shame the casino hat use such tactics, and put the screen shot of the rubbish they copy and pasting or just making up

Heh heh heh...great idea Spintee! (Maybe leave off the casino's names )

I'd love it: A thread devoted to ridiculous and ineffectual responses from CSR's, keeping in mind that they can only say what they're allowed and their names should be blocked out also. Like somebody said, they're just kids earning dough for the next rave. Oh, to be young again :p

It all comes down to the ultimate owners and who is in charge of operations.

Owning/running a casino or being a bookmaker is both a respectable occupation and business - provided they are run fairly. However fleecing people (or attempting to) is not. There are both types online. Casino's who confiscate legitimate winnings for any reason they dream up because they don't want to pay out are fleecing people. Casino's who run rigged games or advertise false RTP's are fleecing people. Casino's who operate without the bankroll to pay out a big winner are fleecing people with a scam. Bookmakers who don't accept bets from anyone but people they think are idiots are fleecing people. These operators ONLY WANT TO FLEECE IDIOTS and deserve no respect.

However there are plenty of casinos and bookies online who are not like that, and don't feel entitled to every penny a customer deposits and will take a fair bet on odds they set. Just like in every occupation there are good people and bad. Don't tar everyone with the same brush
