OK, this post should make some of you out there feel a little bit better about that big cashin that you threw back to the casino. Lets just hope im not the biggest loser out there!!

Last year, at Geisha Lounge, I lost a $21,000 withdrawal. Now technically it was a $5,000 withdrawal....and the other $16,000 was still in my account. But for some reason they wont let you cash out more than $5,000 in a 24 hour period. Now can anyone top that??

I must say though that Geisha wanted to keep me a customer. The next day I received an email saying they placed a free chip in my account for my "continued loyalty"

I logged in to find a fat 10 bucks waiting for me!!!!!

Oh my gosh, that's absolutely terrible!

The most for me was about 2K at PartyPoker

I almost feel good about that now..

Will be interesting to see some serious answers. This was not me, but watched it happen on my second night managing the casino. Player hit the Royal on Let them Ride, was not playing progressive but still cashed out for 290,000. Sent him 10,000, next day and by the end of the week had played through the entire 280,00 but redeposited another 20,000 on top of that. I have to tell you when you see things like that you can understand a little better why some casinos make cashing out quickly difficult.

I reversed about $3k recently over the course of a weekend. Since then I have asked for the Reverse Withdrawal facility to be totally removed from my account, and tell you what, its the BEST thing i ever did!!

I still have a major bee in my bonnet about RW. When i was constructing the list below, i was very disappointed to find so many MG casinos that would not reduce the reverse time to 1 hour. I know a number of them Flush on request which is great, but I still feel that they should do what the player wants. I'm not gonna state the obvious here, but only ONE casino have offered to do that for me. Well OK, two, but the second was after severe pressure. Those two get 100% of my business now.

Remember that POLL we ran? 85% of players in that poll said RW shouldn't exist. And yet, still the casinos insist the players like it. And MG force it on all thie licensors too! But the casino CAN reduce it to one hour if they WANT TO. How much do they value you?

$600 is about it for me. When I have a big win, I try to ignore the "reverse withdrawal" feature or I make a point of walking away and not come back until it's cleared. This is one of things I like about Intercasino - withdraw and *poof* it's gone.

Excellent point. Like 85% isn't enough of a majority vote for them to make alterations? Imagine if their was a re-election (2nd-term), and the opposition had to get over 90% of the vote in order to win. "Oh, but 11% of the people are quite content with the current President!!!"

It's not hard to imagine why they (many online casinos) won't change their policies, and it's very wrong.

Good topic. Funeralparty, ouch. But wait, Geisha has a $5,000 max payout per day? I sure hope not anymore! I'm currently looking for a one single RTG casino to play at, and Geisha's been high on my list, I've played there before. But not if they have that! Greg?

I don't feel so bad now. My biggest was last spring, was on a good streak (my last one it seems..) at 32Red, cashed out €8,000, told them to flush it, which they did immediately. Shut down the computer, got out of the house.

It's really hard to quit when you're winning left and right.

Here's the catch: It was a friday night. On saturday evening - no sign of the money on my Neteller so I e-mailed support and they said the withdrawal will be processed first thing on Monday, apparently nothing happens on a weekend.

Well, you can guess what happened next. I e-mailed support and told them to reverse just a little bit, say €1,000 and kept doing this until it was all gone. Needless to say I didn't feel to good about myself. Maybe I learned something though. Looking back, that's the kind of situation where I'd like to see the Casino say, are you really sure you want to do this? I decided then I've got a little bit of a gambling problem and changed my habits, so perhaps I came out on top after all.

I'm sure the reverse withdrawal option is a big profitmaker for the Casino.
Good idea Simmo! to have them remove that option. I'll go for that.
Simmo! very smart to focus your business on the few casinos that treat you well. May I ask what the other one is?

Phyngster: Oh boy. That person obviously had a malignant gambling problem. Nothing good can come out of that...

Bryan: That's a big plus for Intercasino.

And here's a piece of advice to the Reverse Withdrawal Virgins out there - when you're winning, withdraw most of it - leave a little bit to keep playing, and lower you bets to Kasino King level (<€1), maybe switch to video poker and keep'em low, don't raise unless you're still winning a lot! If you're still winning (which is unlikely), repeat procedure. This way you get to go on playing on a good streak, but you'll end up actually seeing your winnings.

Cheers,
SM

Hmm, strangely reminds me of the election system in a certain country across the Atlantic...

I must admit I have reversed 1000 and lost it..but it is very hard to stop playing when you have a bank and you try to build it up higher, But we know what happens most of the time..which has given me an idea for a new thread..read on.

My biggest stupid reversed is start from 1,005 for InterUK in 30 Dec'05. Which is suppose waiting to cashout the cheque by Fedex. The stupid reason I give myself is want to make another 50 for casino balance play in new year. Also due to the first withdrawl (sign up) of 500 cheque still not rec'd & wanted to see it arrival frist before requesting the 2nd 1,005 cheque. Ended up lost it...
So mad... then went to play the balance 858 in Ladbrokes (also just confirmed by CS can try to re-do the withdrawl, earlier system rejected) Burn another 558 in Live casino, only cashout 300. Then burn another 200 in Coral winning.
Way back to middle of Dec, 900 winning in Eurobet account. Want to cashout but the system rejected. email CS & sort out after few days. Then Jan double bonus up on the same date. Cards is so bad, lost a lot in BJ then burn the balance in Baccarat table.

Total 2690 stupid lost! due to reversed & can't cashout.

PS: The other problem is some Casinos had been successfully cashout & ID verified before, they still hold and reject the cashout from the system.

Same thing happen in this month with MG software casino too (LN), returning the cashout to the casino balance again...

I share your pain. And welcome to the forum Alex

Slotmachine

Maybe they have changed policies since last spring, but I believe Geisha has a max cash out per week of $5,000. However, they would not let me cash out the whole lot and then wait 5 weeks to receive it all. They told me I could only make one 5k cash out PER DAY, THEN wait a week to receive each 5K. I thought that was pretty stupid. never heard of a policy like that before. Sure, ive heard of casinos having a max cash out per week.....but they would at least LET you make the full cash out right then.

I guess the reason that I played so loosely with the $21,000 was that I had a $15,000 withdrawal from Casino Rewards 3 weeks earlier.

I know that many here don't have alot of good things to say about Casino Rewards, but at least they let me cash out the whole lot at once, and I received it all at once, in 2 days via Fed Ex:thumbsup:

I really think that I have only reversed once and lost. It was for about $300 at Music Hall. My downfall is continuing to play even once I've reached a good sum. Part of that is due to the fact I know in some cases you have to wait for your money, and there is no flush option. However, in the last few months I have taken to playing only a very few (about three) casinos, that I know will flush for me upon request, 32Red being one of them. I'd say 70% of my play is there now.

bbiggest reverse well i dont think this counts because its not a reverse, but back in september i won 2100 from a 25 dollar deposit at pokerstars, and you gotta wait 48 hours after you deposit to withdraw, guess what.........

 that rule makes me mad, it has no purpose, they say its so they make sure the money clears first, but i think they have more important reasons

about $2400 once .... but with my next deposit I hit a random jp and got it all back... got lucky with that one...

Cheers

Keep'em confessions coming:D you'll feel better.

Thanks for the tip Simmo! I've just made sure that my reverse craziness will never happen again. Just got word from a certain casino that they've disabled my reverse function :) I'm on my way to becoming a sensible gambler...if there ever was such a thing. It's not so much about winning as it is about limiting those losses, eh! Like the now-famous JohnSteed said, better not chase after what's not there.

Cheers,
SM

Just take care that you don't do any new deposits because you can't reverse.... :)

Have a great one...

I reversed $1000 this morning and lost it, I felt pretty bad. Tonight I deposited $60 at a different casino and hit 5 red trucks on Spring Break @
$2.25 during the feature, took it up to $1500. This time I'm cashing out :D
