Hi meister heads,

So it's getting closer to that time of year, xmas, holiday's and drunken nights.
I'am going to melbourne for 2 weeks with katheirne and my little man. Going to get drunk, go to the big shopping centres to stock up on clothes and computer stuff. Then heading out to the family farm for a week to just relax on 1200 acres of land, drink more beer and eat ham for the whole week. good times are going to be had.

ooo I almost forgot I can't leave out the fishing I need to throw a line in the water at least once a year... miss my fishing.

Bah, humbug. JK

I'm hoping to be recovering from surgery about then. If my daughter and son-in-law will come, we will have our usual Christmas feast of chicken fajitas. Otherwise, it's me and a bag of cheesies. This is not a hardship, I really like cheesies and don't eat them often. It will ruin my day if not one channel out of 150 or so is showing The Bishop's Wife, and I mean the original with David Niven, Cary Grant and Loretta Young. I will play Christmas music all day long, and sing carols off-key.

I really love Xmas. Peace on Earth and goodwill towards men is a concept that should hold more than one day a year.

Yes have spent time also thinking about xmas. Heck already have 20 gifts put away. But my favorite time of year is Halloween even dress up the dogs and cats for this. Im sure they arent to happy with it all but they sure luv the doggy treats they get in the area. All us pet lovers make up pet bags kids get loot bags filled with candy chocolates toys and parents get bottle water or can of pop. After this day i work on xmas the rest of the gifts dinner menu and so on. Most times its turkey ham and all the trimmings few kinds of deserts. And spending the rest of the day playing with the kids new toys with them.

Hoping to eat Xmas dinner courtesy of Sam's Town casino. I'm needing a break and using my 3 free nights at our home away from home would be ideal. Still don't know if it will happen. *crossing fingers*

Mousey put up her Tortmouse. Now it really is Autumn. :)

Christmas here will be strange but lovely still, I hope. First one without my brother and I am sure when Pop says the blessing, tears will flow. And then we have a certain Swedish guy here now who celebrates Christmas on the
24th and feels the 25th is just the day after Christmas. Backward heathens. :p Still, I can't wait for it to get here as I love all things Christmas and then we can run headlong into a NEW YEAR and put this one behind us.

we always have christmas morning breakfast at my mom and dads home, all of my mothers brothers and sisters, all of their kids and family plus my 2 sisters and brother and their children, it is between 50 to 75 peeps there for ham/ sausage biscuits, fried potatoe's, scrambled eggs(my job) , no eggs fixed to order for that many people:eek: my uncles and cousins bring their guitars and they play everything and anything, funniest of all is we have a bottle of crown royal we break out at 10.30 , we do it every year and everyone takes a nip and we hide it from my cousin, the preacher, i think after 20 years, he should be on to us:D.............laurie
