What should we do with fraudulent posters?

Personally, I don't mind this as much as the fact that they have errors in their autoplay settings for Jacks or Better! At least it's possible for a player to fix the settings for BJ.
What is the mistake in the JoB autoplay?

As an example, holding AQ2 suited in single line JoB. That's not the optimal play. Agreed it makes a tiny difference to the EV, but it's still wrong.

Holding AQ2 suited is correct if you are betting less than 5 coins.
EDIT: Thank you for pointing that out. :notworthy It seems I hadn't noticed I wasn't playing max coins, which is not something I would do intentionally. I'll be more vigilant in future and I know others have reported similar holds - hopefully they'll review their screenshots.

I apologise if this is a red herring.

There is only so much one can do with and avatar and I did my best. I drive an Audi TT Roadster with stock hubcaps and I drive around with Celine Dijon at full blast, bonus pimps have come a long way. I think that the "fraudsters" should take it upon themselves and put their own lables so we could all know who/what they are and then laugh at them. After all, if you can't laugh at other people, who can you laugh at?

LMAO. That's much better, Chucho - but your gonna have to lose the TT as well I'm afraid (I'll take it) That's far too elegant a mean machine for the new you!

You can have it next year when I buy a 2005 SLK350. That is contingent on my big win at Crystal Palace.
The Bonus Pimps of today have to keep a lower profile than back in the 80's as the cops will pull us over if we high sign and front too much about being a Bonus Pimp.

I have an idea...

Don't tell them they've been busted, but whenever someone identified as a 'fraudster' logs in - they get directed to a special Casinomeister offers page! It looks just like the regular message board and offer threads, but on this magical secret page - there are some astonishing bonus and deposit incentives that are too tempting to refuse!!! The catch being, they're at all the casino's freshly picked from the 'rogue' list, where they haven't got a hope in hell of being paid!

That'll give them something to REALLY 'Pitch a Bitch' about :D

Hi people,

I know that I have not posted here but that does not mean that I don't log in to read the opinion's and comments of the user's in this forum. I voted for the fraudulent posters to be labled as such, believe it or not there are alot of casino's getting bashed and being made to look like crook's but in reality these players are mad about not getting paid and they think that just by posting a complaint over an over on here is going to get them paid, well in most cases these players have not met the terms and conditions of the casino they are currently playing on so they think that just because they were not aware or did not bother to read the terms and conditions of the casino they should be entitled to either get the money that they think they have won or demand to get their deposit back after they have lost it along with their bonus, come on people that's like going into a land based casino in Vegas and sitting down to play on a Blackjack table and then you realize that you did not know the rules and lost your money and then demand that they give you back the money that you lost on the table, you do that and they will look at you like your stupid and escort you out of their establishment. That is why it's called gambling you don't get your maney back if your at fault and it's not the casino's responsibility to hold your hand and make sure that you have fully read their website about their terms and conditons, we are all adults and nobody tells us what we can or can not do with our hard earned money but if your going to gamble with it be smart and pay attention to the rules of the casino you play with..... I often read post's here about players that bash casino's when the player is clearly at fault and it just makes me laugh I know that I'm not the only one that see's this fruads for who they are and if you think about it they are making it harder for all of the legitimate issues that some players have..... Now I know that there are some bad casino's out there and am not defending them but that does not mean that they are all bad.... Well those are my 2 cents, basically meister let's let everyone know who the fruads are and they will leave on their own....

Hi Jr.21878,

Welcome to the forum. I dont mean to be offensive but maybe your posts could do with better paragraphing and shorter sentences. I felt quite dizzy trying to read your post and it did take quite a good while to do so. Nevertheless, you did make a valid point in that there are some baddie players out there trying to use this and other forums as a way to squeeze money out of casinos.

Bassmeister,

How about making the registration process more 'strict'? This might prevent a number of abusers or fraudsters.Or a procedure that verifies each member that their 'clean' and therefore not likely to bust you up.As it is right now everyone can walk in and out and do damage.I think its better to prevent the muppets before they become members because then its too late to ban them when they have already wasted your time.  ......I will try to come up with something more precise.

Jeeze, I forgot all about this thread :D

Actually, the sign-up process is moderated - but only to keep the spammers at bay. A number of gambling sites are being hit up by spammers opening bogus accounts. So in short - I'm reviewing all registrations.

Other than that, pretty much everyone else is welcome to join. And you never can tell (in most cases) what people will be posting until after they post. But if fraudsters want to post, I say "bring 'em on."

Two things that could go wrong if you labeled someone 'fraudster' and they still were allowed to post:

A) Anything they said -or had said- would be spin a certain way, including meritorious data or facts. "Banned" can be seen negatively, certainly, but 'fraudulent' connotes intent in every phrase. In extremis a member could actually exploit his "fraudster" status
B) Huge personal fights over their status and how unjust the world is.

On the other hand things would be quite a bit livelier

Kind of like Thunderdome in the Mad Max movies.

Bryan for one, you already have the necessary mask. :D

You could keep the Banned <reason> custom tags you're currently giving out to fraudsters and jackasses.

But I've got an idea that I think is just as good. If you post on Something Awful, you're no doubt aware of the "Hellban"... basically, the member can post as normal and see all of his posts. But he doesn't show up on memberlists, and nobody else can see his posts. I think they even bet on how long it'll take bannees to realize they've been backed off.

Could be interesting, anyway.

The problem is that all of the poster's posts disappear, and then I am accused of deleting posts - which I don't do (contrary to some half-witted opinions).

I'm just keeping things as they are. Poster gets banned - the reason/catagory is visible on their profile. If anyone has questions on why someone is banned - check out their last couple of posts and you'll probably come up with the answer yourself. Or just simply ask me.

Fraudulent Players

Initially I voted to ban those players but am thinking of changing my mind or whats left of it. Maybe Bryan should invoke his 2nd option and place them in a category like he does with the casinos. The reason why I suggest this is, if done so maybe the casino operators will take a look there and find if they see a player making a claim that is deemed to be a fraudulent player -they can use that information to determine whether a player is honest or not. This may give the casino operators more time to spend on those players who have legitimate complaints. It will aslo show the new people to the web-site that Bryan means business and dont waste his time or OURS investigating a bunch of bogus claims. As i player i feel it is my responsibility to follow the rules and play by them. When I do that, there is little the casino can do but pay me my winnings no matter what dispute arises. Out of 3 disputes Bryan has resolved them to my satisfaction. And part of that is because I play by the rules. Damn I am getting better at this LOL
