What is the true story behind The Frankstein slot by Netent?

God knows casinos check play logs for the slightest misdemeanour, last thing I'd want is some confiscation or better, criminal charges brought against me

Imagine the erratic patterns in the history: 20p bet 0 won, 20p bet 0 won, 20p bet 5p won, £180 bet £6.8mil won

I'd be way too paranoid to even attempt it. Don't fancy the FBI smashing through the living room John Rambo style :machinegunner:

Who here if they discovered the exploit would have owned up straight away?

Oooh difficult one.

If I answer with total honesty, I'd have to say, I'd probably milk a couple of grand out of it first from a none accredited casino which pays (like a bookies type place who can easily afford this) and then inform Bryan who'd have a better idea of whom to contact than I would.

That being said, my conscience is nagging me already

Only to find Frankenstein's on the excluded game list :p

Here’s the best question Nicola.

Did you get rewarded for finding this bug/glitch? When you reported it.

Not saying they have to reward you like. Just would have been a nice gesture.

I received "thanks" and a reward package from the casino and was told to use discretion on forums. Like any software provider, you have to report issues with play through the casino you are playing at. I chose a casino where I knew the issue would be taken seriously and within days I knew the findings were significant as the game vanished.

Many bugs I've found over the years are dismissed as advantage play rather than actual exploits. For seven years the Mega Moolah 'progressive delay' still exists and even made it's way into Lord of the Rings and The Dark Knight. If Microgaming didn't want players to use this technique to increase players progressive winnings by 2x-10x they would have removed it by now. I've told them enough!!

What is this progressive delay advantage play you are talking about? :)

My guess it's when you get to the Bonus Wheel and see the lesser jackpots are very small / close to minimum, and so you wait until they get bigger before hitting "Spin".

Good point KK, I've thought about this too.

Problem is (well with LOTR and TDK) I noticed what you win is never what was displayed in the values when it triggered.

There is a video on my YT channel where I trigger the Dark Knight wheel, Minor shows as about £12 but awards nearly £50

Used to happen regular on Lord of the Rings too, hit silver so many times and always over £100 where displayed as much less.

I thought it's decided on the spin that you do, not how long you wait.. if so, that's broken haha

True the chance will be the same, however the prize will be higher.

You have one attempt to roll a dice and get a ten. I can give you £10 if you win or if you wait a bit ill give you £100 if you win - which would you prefer.

No, but I'm pretty sure the jackpot should be triggered on when you spin, so whatever the number is on when you click the button that's what you should win. But apparently they are broken and don't do that! :)

OK. Here goes.

Mega Moolah progressives have prizes of £1,000,000 | £10,000 | £100.00 | £10.00 which are constantly climbing. The issue (or advantage play) here is that you have to press a button to start the wheel. But you can wait as long as you want until you press the button.

The £10.00 (MINI) ranges from £10.00 up to £60.00 - can go higher - but as it's so regularly won it doesn't climb much. However, check it at peak times in the evening or weekends and its often over £20, £30 etc

The £100.00 (MINOR) as above can often climb fast, regularly above £300 but have seen it over £1000.

If you watch the jackpot climbling (open another MG Moolah progressive game) you can then click the start button when the jackpot is higher than the default win. You don't know if you have won the MINI or MINOR (and lets be honest you will never win the MAJOR or MEGA) but you can control what you win this way.

An example. I hit the progressive wheel feature at 5AM so instead of hitting start I went to bed and re-opened the game that evening. The MINOR at that point was over £900 (which I won). So instead of winning £100 at 5AM, I won £900 by waiting until the evening.

The only risk here is if you are a lucky bugger and win the MAJOR or MEGA you could have missed out on millions of pounds. Will never happen though :p

The best time to hit the progressive on MM is around 5AM when there are less players. You can trigger it on as little as a 5p bet (1 line, 5p coin)

Also, never do this while playing with bonus funds. That is breaking the terms and conditions :)

Interesting! I wonder if this works the same way with the Playtech jackpots (which seems IMPOSSIBLE to hit) and other games too..
