I know mine will be the most silly!

When I first started gambling online I thought "paytable" meant you had to pay something, and I was too afraid to click it. LMAO.

Second one I just noticed within the last year. The RTG game TexaN Tycoon, I thought was named TexaS Tycoon.

The most silly thing I thought when I first start gambling was that I could win millions of dollars playing only with the 1 cent coin ...:lick:

Actually you can
The netent mega jackpot can be won on a cent bet

easy ever start playing online , i was having better fun at a real casino ) least i could get pi$$ed & have a nice meal there )

Online casinos were rigged and they could limit you're wins... After my long loosing streak (since starting to play at these casinos) people would probably agree that was a fair assumption based knowledge and my game play. However after winning some money back and thanks to this beaut of a forum, it's now clear they can't be rigged otherwise you wouldn't encounter non payment issues with the rouges, they'd just simply rig the games. Mind you though I still have my doubts about Intercasino.

I thought casinos actually liked their patrons/customers and appreciated our business.

This is very silly, but it was a good few years ago when I first started playing at online casinos. I would often win & then suddenly lose & not win again till my balance reached zero. I imagined it was because the casino had a kill switch & there was somebody employed by them, sat in an office somewhere watching the players on a computer screen. If somebody won consistently they would be flagged by the computer & the mysterious person would activate a switch which changed the game to a rigged one which favoured the casino.

That was before I learned about house edge.

I think with online casinos there is always that element of suspicion because it is computer code, & in unlicensed casinos with funked up software that probably does happen only with a bot pressing the switch not a human. :)

My biggest mistake was when i was 18 and first started , i played blackjack and i lost , i went on to live chat and said i got black jack and it didn't pay me , (i didn't actually win what so ever) they basicly said that it cant have happen'd , I said prove it , the operator sais 'sure' and sent over my latest gameplay chart , hahaha , goodbye ,i didnt realise they could see whatcards i got etc..

I used to close the game after a decent win and play something else because i thought it had payed out.

Also someone i know whos been playing years still to this day ctl alt deletes and hard closes the software as to not lose the game session he lost on, for the same reason "itll pay out next time"

I think the first time I ever played was about 12 years ago Golden palace gave my hubby a free 100.00. I was playing and he was in the kitchen and I said I wonder if anyone can ever really win. A few minutes later I am yelling like a lunatic. He comes running over to see a royal flush sitting on the screen with a payout of 2000.00. He shoved me away from the computer thinking I would click something and the money would disappear. He got on the phone with them right away and asked if they could see the win and how do we get the money.

I think it took them a month to send the check and believe it or not I didn't even really start playing then. I didn't trust it. lol I should have never started and I would have been ahead of the game.

one time i was playing at a F L casino and was winning a small amount and out of nowhere a pop up with George if any one
remembers him pops up and he asks me if i want a bonus  i said no ,:eek2: and i think he was watching me play
is what prompted him to offer me the hook

When I first heard the term 'casino client' I thought it meant ME. Also I thought that when I got a mail from Virtual about an offer "only for our VIP players" that it was special - it wasn't til after I'd joined here that I discovered they sent those same mails out to everyone.
