What is the best way for a USA player to deposit these days? I have a Netspend CC and that works fine for now, but what are the other ways USA people are using? What about OKpay or places like that? Does anyone worry that might end up like Quicktender?

Also for withdrawal? I have in the past requested a courier check and the bank looked at me like I was a criminal.

I only play a few RTG casinos, haven't been able to play at 3Dice in forever (no way to deposit) I don't trust Quicktender places so much.

I guess I am looking for the easiest and safest way to deposit and withdrawal.

Just a note about OKpay. I am currently going through their verification process. Their process is pretty stringent, which I guess is a good thing.

Unless you have a scanner, you will have to go to a local office/copier place and have your docs put in to a PDF format.

Have never had to this before with any casino verifications.

Have been using my bank debit card for both deposits and withdrawals. However it is thin ice when you use your household living account for these transactions. I have been burned by fraudulent charges so that is why I am signing up for OKpay.

Thanks for the reply. I am just worried about OKpay crashing and burning like other places have. I'm wondering if that's the only way/place?

I thought we were the land of the free  cannot even use MY OWN EXTRA MONEY to do with as I please.

I have 3-4 prepaid cards that I use. Yes, I have had to send in authorizations on each one but I try and rotate them so no one card gets nosy. NS has already called me out on any charge that shows up as VESTPAY and told me if another one comes in they will close card.

I also have an OKPay account and a PaySpark account (InetBet was using it again) which I am planning on trying.

As I have said before, I will never use my household bank for any kind of gambling activity. I won't have checks deposited there or have a wire sent there. I have set in place other financial institutions to use for these. It's been a pain in the A** but at least I know my real money is safe as I can make it.

It's not the casinos themselves that I fear but the folks that have access to my personal/financial information. All it takes is one fired employee to run off with your info and you are screwed.

I recommend a prepaid card to deposit. (Even if it gets hacked/stoilen, the crooks will be limited as to how much of your $$ they can mess with.) I change mine every few months. It must be a card for international use. I do not trust any ewallet.

Personally, I prefer a check for withdrawal - I make out my deposit slip and deposit it to my personal little bank account - you could even use the night deposit bin. I've had no weird looks from the girls at my bank when doing this. Just remember, deposit, not try to cash it. (Check with your banks, many offer free checking accounts they may have a small minimum deposit/balance requirement.) Many casinos do wire transfers. I hate it. But for some, that's the only way. Here again, I recommend using an account not tied to household funds.

Gambling online from the USA is no longer fun, primarily due to the complications of getting monies to and fro and the heavy fees associated with moving said funds. :(

Geez yes that it is. Only reason I'm sticking with it is because I really really really want that OKpay card for faster payouts. Which like you said the process is a good thing, just hard to remember that when you are in the middle of the process :(. GIMMIE MY DAMN CARD

Probably should have made it a little clearer. For casinos I was able to get verified by using my digital camera which I did for the first go around at OKpay.

Apparently my camera pixels/resolution were not up to their standards which is why I had to go have my docs scanned professionally.:D

I don't either after what happened with Quicktender. So you only play at RTG's?

It isn't fun, your right. I stopped playing for a few months, then came back about a month or 2 ago. I like playing the games of course, but then when I win I start thinking how long the casino will take to pay me, if the bank will even cash their check (my bank woman talked for quite some time about the check I was giving her, it was annoying) and now most RTG's have a minimum of $300-$350. Then I end up just playing the money away.

It was so great to request a withdrawal at night and find it in my quicktender the next morning.

I have a verified OKpay acct....but depositing via any kind of CC isnt an option...unless im blind:what:

Just filled out some more information with them today. They asked me for my bank account number, so I was assuming that I could fund using that as well as my linked debit card?

But yea I didn't see anything about a CC.

I just want that OKpay debit card once verified!

I have no debit card option either....granted I have not registered a bank or anything with them because I wasn't sure if I could even fund the thing.

I play RTGS... I missed signing up at Sloto's Rival software casino back when I could. If you have an old account there, you could play Rival software. Also, Sloto has just opened up a new casino, Miami Club, which uses the former Vegas Technology (remember English Harbour and sister casinos?) software. And there's 3Dice and their own software, also.

I took a couple years break after the NETeller mess.... then took another couple years off after so many poker rooms and processors and ewallets (including QT) got busted. I play only occasionally these days. It costs too much just to move money, and like you said, we can't cash out for less than $250 - $350 (plus $45- $75 in fees)... I've seen a $200+ balance go down the drain many times simply because there was nothing to do but play to try to get the balance up to a cashable amount.

Most casinos will advise depositing the check, not cashing it. And don't spend the money till the check clears...

Oh what fun.....

Having problems with okpay and 3dice

All in the US 3dice is not taking deposits from OKPAY stating it is against Legilation from my country (USA) I have filed a PAB but so far not repsonse from 3dice

And now of course paste and pay isn't working for me. I went to sign up, added my credit card, they deducted a few dollars for verification, I went to check how much so I could put it in, I came back the page wasn't there. I deleted the credit card, re-added it back in and they deducted another few dollars, I figured out I couldn't close the screen, so I opened a new screen, checked how much they deducted, put it in, they said it was wrong so many times and locked my account??? I was the right amount, I was looking right at it!

I guess there's no way for me to play at 3dice, and now that Club World is using VestPay, I'm sure I won't be able to play there soon either.

LMAO it must be a sign.

From a Washington State player, I can only play a few casino online which suck. Club-world and their affiliate is my only option.:mad: I hate show my face at Local Land Casino to many people I know.................:oops::oops::oops:

Geez good luck to anyone getting verified at OKpay. I have never had this much trouble before anywhere. My utility bills have been rejected 3 times. Electronic bills are not acceptable.

If you receive and pay your utility bills online (paperless statements) you are going to have to switch to the old fashioned snail mail-receive a paper copy-have it scanned-and then upload it. PITA:D

Anyone have a better option for verifying physical address that wasn't quite so cumbersome?

Oh, I musta missed it. Miami Club is linked to Slotocash?

Hi---I have the same problem with utility bills---plus they are in my husband's name and they don't accept that.

What I did was save an envelope (any official looking one will do---I used the one with my insurance statement in it)---scanned it WITHOUT OPENING IT---and uploaded that. They couldn't see the postdate on it so I circled that date as well as wrote it on the envelope so they couldn't help but find it.

They accepted that. It shows that someone has sent mail to you at your address, within the last 6 months.

The request for "utility bill" has gotten to be a habit with their "form letters".

Hope this helps you all!

Thanks Mary Jean! Great idea.:) I'll have to see if I can find something similar.

I should have added that I have an additional burden in that I don't receive mail at my physical address due to being in a college housing situation. Was having my mail lost or taken by kids all the time.

OKpay doesn't understand that some people only receive mail at a PO Box. I believe it is Amatrine who has this problem too.

Was going to use my bank statement, but it only shows PO box not physical. Argh!

Can someone at the college send an envelope?

Hi again,

Can someone at the college (or close by) send you an envelope addressed with your physical address but % your PO Box.

Be sure BOTH addresses are on it. That way you can pick it up at the PO but it will have your house address on it as well as a postdate. It "might" work.

I know its a hastle, and time consuming, but unless you can find some document (date stamped) you have a problem anyway.

Isn't it fun to try to have FUN?

Ha ha yes you are right-the lengths we go to in order to have fun.

I am only connected to the University because of managing a campus business. I live amongst students for convenience/proximity to work.

LOL I am twice+ older than everyone else in this building. But I guess I could use our business letterhead to send something to myself in c/o.

You might have something there:D

Be sure the letterhead is on the envelope as the return address, and don't open the envelope once you get it.

Just photostat it that way.

Good Luck

I have a po box too however on your electric bill or water bill it should have your physical address as the service address. If not ask your utility company to add your physical address under your po box for verification purposes. You don't have to tell them what purpose. :)
