What happened to 3Dice

Hi Robwin,

Yes when Bryan asked me about this I told him it was on the planning, but also that a number of slot machines were to be released before we would be able to spend the manpower on that. I believe at the time the planning was to release one machine a month until we had a more decent selection of slots, something our userbase was (and is) screaming for. The timing there turned out to be a bit ambitious, not uncommon amongst software developers ;).

At the end of the day the allocation of our manpower and budget is determined solely by our players. Our efforts are spent there where we believe it will make the most difference for our players and ultimately this strategy ensures the best situation for everyone. No offense to Bryan, but if we have to pick between what CM asks and what our players ask, then that is a very easy choice to make.

Let me assure you that it takes a lot more work, organization and effort to run an online casino for years without a single non-payment or delayed payment issue, bonus T&C complaint, voiding of winnings, or meaningful PAB (we've only had two - players trying to get back in..), than it does to get a third party audit performed. It is also an effort I believe is much more appreciated by the players ..

With the initial audit currently in progress I cant be to specific yet, but we're using a respected third party auditing company used by numerous other big players in this sector.

Kindest Regards,

Enzo

Enzo, thanks for being professional and the stand up guy that I knew you were, even though I have had a few doubts of late, but thankfully you have proved me wrong...which IMO is a good thing. Thanks for coming in here and answering the tough questions, something that several of the other casino reps tend to dodge and allude to...much appreciated..

Yes, very professional answers Enzo. Hopefully the audit will be completed soon and you'll be back on the accredited list. You are definitely one of the best gaming reps.

Since you mentioned new slots, is there any expected in the near future. Any little teaser you can release.

whats an audit worth? Nothing. And it costs a lot of money.

A software operator can always change the software after a successful audit. An Auditor can only check, what he gets presented. nothing more and not less. So it has no value.

Thats different to B&M slotmachines, where the software keeps the same over the lifetime of the slotmachine.

I play at 3Dice and I just trust my senses and my feeling. Checking Winner-Screenshots, if there are high winnings possible at 3Dice (yes) and if there are many entries in the complaints section (no). I get cashouts paid in lightspeed, I wouldn't care about an audit.

Hmmm

A little bird told me 3Dice will be releasing the results of the 3rd party audit soon... ;)

Watch this space :eek2:

I think this calls for a "I told yall we wasn't cheating 100% CM match bonus", what's the code?:)

We will also settle for a 75% "give me back my accreditation" bonus.

It's the Enzo party favor time!!! I, too, was thinking along those lines :D I love a party and now we have a reason for it! Can we all say...it's PARRRRTY time....c'mon Enzo...show us them party favors....we are ready to rock and roll....whistles , horns, twirlers....confetti....if we pick the right one we can PARRRRRRTY......on the house of course  Wooooohoooo~~~~~

.

Enzo probably blew his "party" budget on certification.

Not sure how much an audit like that costs, but they're not cheap.

Congrats on the "Shiny new Certificate" Enzo  I'm sure Bryan will be talking with you soon about the new audit and hopefully get you back on the "Accredited List" Here.

Has no one else wondered about the "shiny new certificate" which does not indicate any information about payout %ages? Wouldn't this info be of importance to most players? And, are audits now being conducted on a monthly basis?

This audit only looks at the RNG. For all the table games, payout percentages would be standard for those games.

Slots however, no one has to tell us. RTG uses one of three settings (maybe four), and the payout percentage on slots and RTP (return to player) are not necessarily the same thing, because bonuses are factored in I believe. Rival (which I can no longer play at) shows it for each game in the help page.

3Dice has tons of opportunities to win free chips for the tournament players. I think if you don't play the tourneys at 3Dice, you don't get the best payback you can.

For someone that bets $5 a spin, I think many won't bother with a $10 tournament win.

But for a low-roller like me, the chance to play anytime with a realistic chance of winning a free shot is great.

I have played them but the only time I EVER came into the money was when I played the sign up tourney. Many, many moons ago...

I think they are great if you need a break from playing, but for the real deal, they won't fill the need..for the amount of money you win and the time needed to invest to win, that $10.... is not very enticing....JMO..as usual :D

Well for me, i found myself wasting all of the hours in the day trying to win an elusive tourney win, and then when i finally won one or two it didn't go very far at all. In all, the hours spent trying to win didn't match up to the prize.

Of course if you manage to win off the $10, then it is worth while, but for me i would prefer to have the hours back and do other things in my life.

If you don't have anything better to do then go for it.

I played at 3Dice when they were sponsors of the gonegambling forum and free games for points site. I got the distinct impression that they catered to LOW ROLLERS. This was evident in the remarkably LOW max bet available in most of their slot games. The BIGGEST available was around the 6 mark, which is WAY below the max bets in softwares such as MGS (up to 200), and RTG (up to $100) for slot games. This clientele WOULD appreciate free tournaments with prizes starting at $10, since this was a similar amount to the free bonuses that could be won through playing at gonegambling ($10 - $25).

Since leaving gonegambling, 3Dice appears to have changed somewhat. I have looked in occasionally, and the available max bet has certainly risen towards values seen in other softwares, and I noticed the prizes for tournaments had increased.

They also had a few "run-ins" with members here, not least for inappropriate public disclosure of player account information. The loss of accreditation was to do with the lack of this independent RNG testing certificate, and there was NEVER a requirement to include game payout percentages in order to become accredited. The accredited RTG casinos have independent testing certificates, but it is up to them whether or not they give payout percentages for their games.

Any "free" money given out in 3Dice tournaments has to come from somewhere, and this has to be from their "net hold", so it is true that players who take full advantage of their "free" tournament entitlements stand to receive a better RTP from their deposits than those who only play the games.

The same can be said (to a degree) about other softwares that offer "free" tournaments, although the others rarely have tournaments that are TRULY free (MGS usually has "continues" on free entry tournaments, so you really only stand a chance if you get a good "free" start, and then pay for continues).

It has been quite a while since I looked in at 3Dice, so I expect further changes to have been made. My last check was to try the changes in "Medieval Moolah".

I've taken a 10 dollar tournament prize at 3Dice and jacked it up to 75 or 80 bucks more than once but that's when I usually head for the high variance games, raise my bet and push my luck till I lose.

But the 3Dice tournaments aren't really just about trying to make a withdrawal on a 10 dollar free chip. When you enter the tournaments you're playing in an environment where you do stand a chance of winning some real money but at the same time you're risking nothing. That leaves you free to sit in the chat room and be a jackass. Or socialize. I prefer being a jackass.

Many of the tournaments are interactive with the reps which requires more socialization. If you're not the type to goof around in a chat room you probably won't get too much from the tournaments.

If you can sit and enjoy a little text based fun while you gamble then the tournaments provide a risk free gambling experience so your mind can be elsewhere. Which mine usually is.

And if I've spelled anything incorrectly blame my head cold. I feel like that flying pig landed on my skull.

Well, during my extended illness, I didn't have a whole lot better to do. And like skiny says, there are chat based tournaments that are a ton of fun to play IMO.

I've not been around 3Dice as much lately, since I'm able to get up and about and out my door for more than hospital appointments, but I do enjoy when I have time to play.

And the friendships and support I've received there mean a lot to me. Had some nice cashouts too, can't complain myself. I know I am down, but it seems in line.

Now if I can only pop one of those OG jackpots:p
