Hi,

wow, so many Microgaming casinos have now changed their bonus T+Cs in ways, that its nearly impossible to win a coin there:

I just got a mail from Villa Fortuna: 25% up to 100€.

If I havn't read the NEW T+Cs, I would have made a deposit:

General (!) bonus terms:

- Wagering req. is 50 (!) times the bonus on Slot Games!
(or 500 times on Table Games, or 5000 (2500) times on BJ, Craps, VP)

- Minimum cashout is 150 € !

- You have to wager 50 times the amount of ALL BONUSSES you ever had !

- Slots: 100%

- All Table Games count only 10% ( so, tis is 500 times WR on Red Dog )

- All Video Poker, BJ, Craps... 1% or 2 %...

Is this still a bonus ?

Isn't that Grand Prive?

It was the one they were promoting, and asked for news of them to be censored from this forum when someone who received their launch offer mentioned it.

If these are the rules, you would have more chance of winning with bonuses at Palace of Chance:rolleyes:

50x on slots is highly -EV, and over the long term you would get into an ever deeper hole of accumulating WR, and even a top paying bonus round would never get you ahead enough to complete WR.

IF they are using the MG bonus system though, players can at least see the hole getting deeper, and can query it with CS.

Now we know why the MG bonus system has been carrying over WR on nil balances, it was adjusted to do this for some casinos, but somehow managed to mess it up for those who did not have carry over in their terms.

Prime Casino started with WORSE bonus terms though, 80x slots and 0% counting on other games. HOWEVER, there was no carry over if you busted, so it was still possible to win occasionally when MG was on a good streak.

30 times (40x for welcome, no forfeit of bonus (wrong T+Cs !!)):

The wagering contribution percentages requirement is different based on the game type played as follows:
Slots and Parlor Games - 100%
Table Poker, Roulette - 25%
Blackjack, Video Poker, Craps, Baccarat, Casino War, Sicbo - 5%
Classic Blackjack, Progressive Slots and Games, Red Dog, All Aces , Jacks or Better and Power Poker Video Poker - 0%

Just do the math....

- 600 times the bonus on Baccarat, LOL

- More than 10000000000000000000000000000000 x (infinite) on Red Dog

0*x = 0 !!

So, on a 100€ welcome bonus, you have to wager 40x20x100 = 80.000 € WR on Sic Bo , Casino War, the worse Video Poker

And infinite on Red Dog...

Ha Ha

These parameters were always operator defined. MGS included defaults, and at first most operators simply used them.

0% is simply a way of defining the old "excluded games" category, and beats having winnings CONFISCATED for playing an "excluded game".

What is wrong in some cases is the way these wagering rules tend to get "buried", and often CHANGED without warning, making it hard for players to decide whether to deposit. Having received a bonus though, it is VERY EASY to check for "rogue" wagering rules by looking at how fast your bonus is converting against your playthrough. If you wager 1000 on slots, and see a mere 10 credits converted, this should tell you the 30x "standard" is not being used.

Fortunately, most CM Members will be aware of the fact that casinos are now individualising the MG bonus system, and should check the base WR, and the different game weightings. THIS is where there is considerable competition between casinos, don't just look at the headline bonus offered. 100% to 200 may look better than 25% up to 200, but maybe not so if the wagering rules are as tight as some I have seen.
