What do you tell friends that are skeptical of how online slots can hit?

I have a few guys that will dabble occasionally at land based casinos but in the one or two times they tried online casinos nothing happened and they believe you gotta spend hundreds and hundred to get any type of return.

I try to convince them that, in my opinion, online slots are just looser than land based from what I've experienced. I have done really well the last couple years and while I can definitely have moments where I get upside a little, I always eventually seem to win my money back and then some, and in alot of cases a good bit more.

But its like no matter how many checks I personally have cashed or withdraws I've made they are still skeptical about how good online slots can hit.

Anyone have a friend that has a similar stance?

I always had way more luck and fun in online casinos. In land-based ones my money goes away before I finish my free cappuccino, probably because minimum bet is usually much higher than in most of the online slot games and I'm a small player

Don't have any friend who play slots, so no problem explaining the difference

Lol same, I always felt that land based just has so much more overhead that they have to stay tight. They're fun to check out but I just can't push myself to go when online slots hit the way they do.

Just don’t have them watch YouTube videos. It isn’t what it seems.

Show them screenshots of your best wins.. but really in the end, if they would rather play in land based casinos that's one less person standing between me and the super mega life changing jackpot I'll probably never hit.. but if I did.. well then I'd prove it to them by waving from the goodyear blimp I rented just to flash "HAHAHAHA I TOLD YOU SO" for a day or 15 while I partied and considered what to do with all my new found opportunities to indulge my id... and occasionally my superego too..

That's the thing I have hah I have shown many of my best screens, even shown the checks but they're just convinced I'm insanely lucky and this just doesn't happen for most. But I have had rough runs as well, but cold streaks eventually seem to work themselves out at some point and start to be decent again.

You are insanely lucky, those cold streaks could put you in a world of financial hurt if you keep pounding away and think that you are "due" a big win...

I have definitely been lucky but I think my overall point is that it's very doable to win online, much more than land based imho

Seems they've convinced themselves that B&M casinos are the be-all and end-all to gambling, and aren't willing to entertain the notion that may not be the case.

There's no changing their mind then. But then some people believe the world is flat too, so just ignore them

They definitely can be, but when they're good they are pretty good. I wish I had options to play at some of the other foreign sites but I have a good time with rtg.

Yea I mean it's all for discussion mainly, I I just feel my buddy would enjoy them. But I think he's looking at it as he will have to spend 1000s to win and is lookin at it negatively from the get go.

It's just funny because I've showed him so many wins I've had and nothing budges him, I would so have to at least try a bit if someone was showing me good play at a casino like that.

To be fair I don’t really discuss my gambling with many friends. I can understand peoples reluctance to believe as, as you know, gamblers over egg the wins and under egg the loses on occasions.

Personally I hate playing slots in land based. I’ll lose 100 in an eye blink online but on land I’ll be sweating on whether to collect the 20 quid or risk going for the 50

I have played at both and have a very open mind and there is no doubt at all online hit with a much higher frequency than b+m. In fact being the driver if I have to wait for friends who are still playing poker I will play on my phone rather than play in the casino as I believe my chances of a win are much higher.
