Wish I could help you here with an intelligent answer rocky but I have no idea my friend. Send the link to the casino too and see what they say.

Install & run Ad Aware or Spybot Search & Destroy. You can "google" these names and be taken to a download site. Both have OFFICIAL sites, which point to recognised free download portals such as tucows or cnet. They are both free.

This should check for one possible reason, EVIL ADWARE, which delivers pop-ups based on pages you are visiting. Since the pop-up is for a site unrelated to the poker room you were depositing in, this is the most likely explanation.

Once you have ruled this out, and it happens again, or this checking software finds nothing on your system, then you have possible evidence that the pop-up was delivered by the ewallet provider on their banking page. Their reluctance to give you a straight answer hints at this possibility.
There is a precedent for this, when 888.com had pop-ups for Reef Club when you exited their site, but they denied there was any connection between them - until they were exposed by Casinomeister members:D

The poker room is denying a connection, and the ewallet provider will not say. Run the malware checkers first though, since there is also a precedent for other casinos to drop malware that either blocks competitors, or tries to poach their customers.

    Hey Rockycatt,

I am the VIP/Poker Manager at Poker Nordica and I can absolutely assure you that this is NOT something we do and I really want to get to the bottom of it and so do our shareholders.

I have sent you a private message with all my contact details and would ask if you could please get back to me at your soonest so that I can work with you to get more information about what happened.

    Take care and chat soon,

ill post it right here , i never said any one at poker nordica initiated it

i have been in e mail contact with poker nordica from my computer e mail

this is what happened [and if your from poker nordica i emailed them a screen shot of the program as i was uninstalling it the name of the poker room is plainly seen ] quite simply after loging on to poker nordica and bringing up the cashier page i did my deposite with my ewallet and after i signed at the ewallet page instead of returning directly to poker nordica , a full page of a well known but not of the very top tier of brands however a known name witch i develudged to poker nordica

it filled my screen and i coudent see a way to get around it so i did the down load cause i knew of that poker room and dident want to mess up my deposite

then went on to play poker and inform poker nordica through there e mail address

what else about it do you want to know you guys must have my phone number call me OK :thumbsup:

well i see you just joined here today

but the link under your name seems to be working good
in the interest of not going public with the name of the poker room i sent it to you via return private message

I'm at a loss as why this could have happened outside of hi tech spam :confused: all i can tell ive told here on the forum and to the ewallet people and you so i just wanted to report a unusual bug of sorts

    Hey again RockyCatt,

This is really something I am going to make my top priority to look into for you and for the others that could have possibly received the same pop-up. It is certainly not tolerated and something I would like to get investigated in full.

Regarding the screenshot and the email you sent to our support, I have sent you a pvt message asking for this, but again, please could you send it over to me because I cannot tell from your posts here who you are at our poker room.

I am looking forward to hearing back from you and I really want to get this sorted out ASAP.

    Regards,

    Mike
