To me it looks like the casino in question has (or had?) a free XX offer just for registering, and if you take that the WR is 50X. If you opt out of the free cash and ONLY take the phantom bonus that comes with your deposit, that playthrough drops to 5X ?? Thats how I interpret it, but that cant be right can it??

Ian, I can see if you took a free bonus out, and deposit just to withdraw than wager is more than fair BUT it mention nothing about frrebies just depo bonus, whicj=h if u dnt take out than there is not 1,

It means the bonus is phantom, treated as one and tied in with your deposit so it is all effectively bonus funds. You either make the 50x WR at which point the bonus amount disappears from your balance and cash something out, or you lose the lot.
Sentence 3 reads almost as if they have got 'complimentary' and 'deposit' switched round. If not then not taking the freebie means you have reduced your WR to 5x which is nonsense.
Either it should say 50x instead of 5x, or more likely IF you win from your complimentary chip I reckon in order to withdraw you must turn your deposit over 5x first.
In fact that's bollocks because it states if you opt out of the comp.
Actually sentence 3 is all complete bollocks and CS should be immediately asked to explain it before depositing to anyone thinking of playing there.

Actually KK if you had provided ALL the terms we would have had some context to your 'sentence 3'.
It makes sense now. Basically the seemingly generous 5% in your post is just a silly variation some sites use to disguise heavy WR's.
They do this by reducing the contribution of certain games, so guess what?? If the contributions were 100% you'd still end up playing 50x bonus or deposit.

Yes, it is a phantom bonus. Yes, there is another ND bonus. If you opt out from the ND bonus, your WR is only 5x on the deposit bonus.

Back, in the old good days (7 years ago), I used to enjoy 1x, and 4x WR on MG accredited casinos..………… good times.

Definitely not a cashable bonus but not necessarily phantom either as it does not say that the bonus is removed after cashing out. There were a couple of casinos in the past that allowed the bonus to remain in the account even after a cashout.
