What do you look for in a casino bonus promotion that makes you go for it?

Is it the size? (i.e. $300++ BONUS go here now!!) But you do know that the bigger the bonus the bigger the wagering requirements usually are.

Is it the speed? (i.e. 100% match deposits for low deposits of 20$-100$) but casino's that offer this usually don't have larger bonuses for larger deposits.

or is it the ease of use? (ie. average size bonus say around 30% but with low Wagering Requirements)

--------------

We all know online casinos surf through forums like these trying to post their ads and trying to tell us what where we should go. Well, now's our chance, post your ideas about bonuses, let THEM know what WE want!!

Write your Ideas make this thread grow ^_^;;

One of the good threads I can find rarely.

My personal weigh on the importance is if it is cashable or not.

So what is it good ultimately if the bonus is only for "wagering purpose" only?

Players will more enjoy the casino if the bonus is cashable. I understand the "
fairness" incurred by such bonus, but anyway there are not many casinos that offer "cashable" casinos. ( Geishas, King Solomons are quite good bonus
givers in terms of this ).

Lastly, my dream bonus is

1,000%, cashable, 2*wagering requirements, instant neteller withdrawal
available :) plus comps 1 doller per 1 doller bet :D

If you found it, they'd have a minimum deposit of $1000 and would have to wager $22000 before you could cash it in... And they'd be listed here as rogue.

Re

When I take a bonus I want one that is credited rite away. I only use them when I gamble small amounts. When I gamble large amounts, I will not use them as I want the option to cash out.

Very simple answer - I wish every casino on the net was Intercasino!

100% up to $100 with WR x25 max is fine with me. I wish the $ amount was higher - but you can't expect the casinos to just give money away! ;)

I also like the Spin Palace regular 100% with x15 WR slots only and I simply can not understand why ALL MG casinos can not make this offer.

I never touch any bonus under 50%, and very rarely under 100%.

The key items I look for in a bonus, not necessarily in order:

Cashable.
100%+ match.
BJ or VP allowed.
Reasonable (< 25xB) wagering requirements.
Fast software.
Reasonable withdrawal time (< 2 days).
EV > $50.

the best bonuses have to be those by the VIP group (MG lot)

where you have a low WR, but have to cash out x2 of the bonus plus deposit.

why i like these ?

a) low WR, i dont like autoplay because whats the point of playing if the computer is going to do it for you ? with the WR's of today a lot of bonuses are too time consuming to take up.

b) is more of a gamble, i.e. you have to go for it with your bets to reach the cashout target, i.e. you have to gamble, thats why we play casinos to have a gamble!

i like all bonuses

i like all bonuses that allows me to play any game i like i hate casinos forfeit your winnging if you play roulette or blackjack they may not count them for wagering but for feiting winnigs is pretty tricky becouse lots of ppl doesnt read terms

Things I like:
Instant bonus
Video Poker allowed
Reasonable wagering requirements
Good Software (I love playing at playtech!)
Easy way to check your wagering before trying a cashout

Things I hate:
Delayed application of the bonus
Confusing terms
Slots only
Puny bonus (If you're only giving me 15%, I'd rather get nothing and be free to withdraw at any time)

The poll doesn't really ask the correct the questions. At least for me.

As others have said, I want a cashable bonus with reasonable wagering requirments.

But I'll take any kind of bonus. I wish casinos would do away with their silly contestes and giveaways. Those contests are for suckers.

Yeah Dirk, if any casino thinks I'm going to play just because they are having a "lucky draw" they have another think coming.

Bonuses

I like casinos to have proper tournaments with a live scorecard where competing against others is involved. With these, bonuses are useful as they can help bankroll tournament play. I like tournament prizes to be worth winning. Lucky draws are just an added extra, the chance of winning one must be very slim indeed - I have had many more Royal Flushes than bonuses from lucky draw promotions.
Innovation is also desirable, each event should be appealing to different types of players and styles. Where possible, worthwhile events for "Low Rollers" should also be offered. Wager Challenges with scoreboards are often the best, however, "low rollers" do not get a look in. Spin Palace also have prizes for "Most Bets", "Greatest Loss".
Of the casinos I play regularly, Jackpot Factory and Palace Group show the most innovation in their promotions and tournaments.
Casino Action also have 5 regular tournaments each week, plus a Monthly Blackjack event. They also give away money at random while playing. Sadly, the WR of 20x slots 60x the rest AND all bonuses/prizes being sticky, and now confiscated at the end of WR on transfer of profit, makes their tournament program virtually worthless.
Trident Lounge (where I have not played) run such tournaments, but their T&C for these and the cashback card are too complicated for my liking.
I also like the cashback promotions, especially if the period covered includes a wager challenge tournament. Spin Palace offer the best cashbacks I have experienced, and are often at 40% or 50% - it's worth taking the plunge and playing for a big hit on whatever games the cashback is for.
Intercasino seems to have the best regular monthly bonus, although the 32Red VIP bonus beats this.
UK players should not overlook Coral and Victor Chandler, or indeed other sportsbooks that run casinos. These have small but regular bonuses with very good WR, and suit the Low Rollers.

My personal preference is:

Worthwhile regular bonuses for existing players.
Innovative tournaments (not endless variations on the lucky draw)
Cashback promotions
A worthwhile reward points scheme
Uncomplicated terms and conditions
Reverse for further wagering if players miscalculate or misinterpret terms (shouldn't happen if terms are clear and uncomplicated)
Allow all games, but use a weighting on the better games to still allow a low WR for slots fans.
Tools to allow players to assess the amount they have wagered.

Some great posts above! I especially agree with Vinyl, dirk & schnozzy.

These so-called tournaments at MG's are anything but that - they are just a competition to see who can wager the most! Only the highest of high-rollers need enter. :(
The only decent 'proper' tournaments I've seen are at Cryptos with a fixed buy-in and the player who wins the most 'play money' in a set time wins the top prize!

Spot prizes & gifts are of no interest to me whatsoever, and comp points are pretty useless to low-rollers too.

And 15% re-deposit bonuses with crazy WR - they are joking, right?
. . . .
