Well as i said in the BetAt thread im tired of the empty repetitive spins online so I was going to switch it up and hit up a real live casino.

I played for a little bit up and down mostly even and then I went over to wheel of fortune. I wasnt sure how to get the bonus where you get to spin the wheel so I asked the lady beside me. She didnt speak English well so I didnt understand.

I bet $1. Hit bet again and bet again. LOL im such a rookie to real life stuff I didnt think the bet was going through. I looked at the screen and my bet was $3. Too big for me. I tried lowering it but on these machine you cant lower it I guess. So I said ahhh forget it. Ill spin once and put it back to $1.

My very first spin I hit the wheel of fortune symbol on the line and I get to spin the big wheel on top of the slot. Round and round it goes. Bang. Hit the highest payout on my very first spin.

I think it was a great idea to give the online stuff a break and go real.

Nice one mate, congrats

The challenge now is not to get tempted into feeding it all back in online, or at your local casino :D

Pretty wild coincidence ive done well over 600,000 spins online and never got this type of win. And lets be honest its nothing crazy just a really decent hit. And my first time having a solid go, I hit a $1000 in a real life casino.

It was neat to see everyone get up from their slots and come over and see the win. Nothing over the top but many people came up and said nice hit congrats. Was nice to see other people cared and wished well.

Haha... yeah. Know that feeling of having people coming up to you well, crowding around you, congratulating you etc. after a nice win. Also know that feeling of having a disgruntled slot player sitting close by, giving you the evil eye, cause you won the jackpot on their favourite machine, haha...

When I was doing my uni course in northern NSW my mates and I used to visit Jupiters casino QLD, once a month.

I hit 10K on a keno slot machine betting $1, and man was it mayhem. Complete strangers hugging me, shaking my hand, pinching and touching me for good luck, kissing me, offering their advice on how to manage my win, etc... We punters are a funny bunch!

After that, I treated my mates to an all you can eat buffet, some play $$$ for the table, and a week of partying on the coast. We visited the best clubs, drank up, and hardly slept a wink :D

Was a week I'll never forget!

$1000 is a nice hit mate, it's all relative. At the end of the day, so long as you're having a good time, that's what matters ;)

A fresh change of a scenery, such as playing in a land based casino can make all the difference to your luck sometimes, as your recent result has shown. Land based play definitely has it's own vibe attached to it, and if you win, you get paid there and then. Never a bad thing!

Access to new games is a cool bonus, as is that party feel that usually comes with land based casino action - flashing lights, live bands, the bar, the buffet, people... It's a whole other gaming experience, and one which some of us were used to, before online gaming became our mainstay.
