There were only two online casino's I can use in Australia and I've just permanently closed my accounts with them and will be closing my credit card on Monday.

With a new baby I just can't afford the time or money that this 'hobby' has ended up demanding so it's time to give it away.

Yep I know this isn't my first "I'm quitting" thread- but it should be the last.

I wish all of you the best of luck, especially those rare few able to moderate their play, personally I feel like I've pretty much dedicated the last 19 years of my life to gambling- which kinda sucks.

- All the best :)

You want to be careful using that word - I recently found out it seems to have TWO meanings...
I was using it to promote my australiaOKcasinos Instagram, and started getting followed by sites like this...

@TheresNoDInBonanza you are absolutely doing the right thing - family should ALWAYS come first.
Best of health and luck to you and your kin

Most of us here using playing slots as a distraction. From chores we should be doing, or trying to make plans for what needs to be done, from problems we don’t want to deal with, or just to avoid boredom.

You can find less expensive ways to distract yourself.

Gambling is not about money often. It is the escape. And an escape that may cost a lot financially.
Myself, I find TV too passive to engage me. But either way, I waste a lot of time and avoid a bunch of stuff that would serve me better.

I am a big fan of harm reduction strategies. Find something to replace some of the online play with. Video games, cooking videos (that’s me) running, spending time on parenting boards.

My “hobby” costs me a lot in terms of time. As a new parent, that time is precious.

But as a parent, you need some distraction and some me time, and so does mom, and you need couple time too.

And there is no urgent need to figure out if this is what is only right for right now, or what is necessary forever.

You have seemed so frustrated lately here in your posts.

Gambling is not serving you well, you, should not be rewarding it.

Use whatever tools you need to to accomplish your goals.

I will be here as cheering section if you want to post days or triumphs or slips.

Although I will miss your contributions to CM, if not coming here at all is what works for you, you do you.

I am a really good guesser, not gambling is the right choice for you at this point
