i opened new account, since i have forgotten my username. i played in slotobank and complete huge 40xplaythrought (10000€) with winnings and made a withdrawl. I send copy of my driver license and utility bill as always. There was one rollback before asking the documents. then there was another rollback and was asked to send photo for me holding passport or national ID holding in the hand next to your face! I have played 18 years online casinos and i'm a member about 200 casinos (over half i have send my documents) and never ever anyone asked me to send this kind of thing. If this was a hostage situation, then i get the photo, but this sound very strange to me. I asked the reason with mail (didn't get answer) and after that in live chat. In live chat the reason for this and the answer was "it's a requirement of our relevant department". I asked their relevant department to send me the email to tell me the reason for the hostage picture and the answer was "even you send it or you don't get any winnings". Anyone else players that i have asked this, said that it's a very strange of document for to ask. So my question is, have anyone ever asked to send the holding id photo?

I understand that it sounds weird and I've never had to do it myself, but I do know many others who have.
It's not so uncommon these days, and sometimes an easy way to prove you are who you say you are.

It sounds like you've opened a second account, and took the welcome bonus again.
So they may well be suspicious

nope, that's not possible. i have couple of usernames and i always use them in the same order. and if my username is already in use in the casino that i don't recall to join, i always ask about it in the live chat. i'm bit paranoid with this shit.

I've seen it happen. No biggie - if you are who you are, easy peasy.
I've also been asked to hold my photo ID (not to my face) but in my hand. This was so they could see it was physical and had edges vs a photoshop.

True, I believe you need to explain this.

Was it to this forum you created a new account, or was it at the casino? I just assumed it was to this place.
If it was to this forum you need to tell one of the moderators. It's not allowed in here either.

It's used as a proxy for asking the player for notarized documents. It's not strictly true what the casino told you as this is certainly not a "requirement set by their licensing authority" or any such similar BS. The "requirement" is to subject the player to verification, and the norm is to have the player send in a scanned copy of a form of ID and a utility bill, and often proof that the deposit method is yours (a scan of the card, or more recently screenshots of eWallet or bank accounts showing the deposit made to the casino).

Casino reps will often try to play down how often this kind of weird request is made, and it has turned out to be rather more common than they would like us to believe, but if it was known to be a common requirement it would put players off from joining.

Such a request tends to show that the casino believes that the player concerned is a "high risk" of being somehow fraudulent, so they are making extra checks that they don't normally make for the bulk of players. A very high withdrawal amount can also be the cause of additional checks, even where there is nothing to suggest that the player is in any way "high risk".

I stick with one casino, makes life easier. Question, What happens when a person wins that much? Do the banks flag you? Can they actually turn the payment down?
