Weird message on rtg slot

I was playing on intertops last night on the slot golden lotus for quite some time, all of a sudden a message comes up saying "the progressive amount is not correct and this slot cannot be played at this time and to contact support".

Has anyone got this message before? Did I hit the jackpot and it did not register on server perhaps? The numbers were still going up when this message came up, I exited out of message and was able to play as usual.:confused:

I have not contacted support but maybe I should?

Holy crap id contact Support!

Ya just chatting with support now just to make sure, we are talking about a possible $10,000, lol

They are having the technical department look at my plays on the slot and they will get back to me via email.

Does intertops even have a rep on here? Or is that intercasino?

I've had this happen before.

I was told that the software checks regularly to make sure the displayed amount and the actual server amount are the same. If they aren't, the message pops up. I think it is to warn the player that they may not be chasing what they think they're chasing etc. You would be pissed to find out you won $2200 instead of the $5000 it was showing for example.

If it was hit, the server will know, and if you exit the game and login again and load the game up, it will have reset as the connection would be refreshed.

I hope I'm wrong and you won it though!

haha thanks, you are probably right but getting it checked out just to be sure, but yes I have to exit out of the game and go back in (usually)to get the correct jackpot amount showing as the numbers won't go up at all if I am playing mostly on club world casino's.

So heard back, they say nope did not hit the jackpot:(, but their was a server error and thanked me for reporting it to them.

For them to look into it and get back as fast as they did is top notch service in my books.:thumbsup:
