Way to go Go Wild

I was under the impression that Grandmaster was NOT a member of Go Wild and thus was astonished at them having his phone number. I may have read this all wrong.

You are exactly right.

I received an Email from Grandmaster which says that he don't have an account at GoWild, We are checking how could it be as we don't have any record for these claims.
Opps, looks like someone may have bought a list.

The call may have come from a marketing company, the same ones perhaps that send out the CDs by snail mail to our postal addresses.

There IS a problem in cold calling a player, and in the UK this is the 2003 telecommunications act. If a UK resident has registered their phone number with the Telephone Preference Service, the UK version of the "do not call" list, then businesses may ONLY call if they have a "first party" relationship with the recipient. So called "cold calls" or "third party" marketing calls, are NOT permitted. Foreign companies outside the EU are not breaking the LETTER of this law, since it would not be applicable, but are demonstrating they are prepared to breach the overall SPIRIT of this kind of legislation.

Casinos do not like players sniffing out loopholes in the terms and conditions, so casinos themselves should NOT seek to sneak past the "do not call" regulations in order to win new customers.

Go Wild could gain a significant number of new players by working towards CM Accreditation.

Any rep that represents Go Wild needs to have a "thick skin". Running away from a "train wreck" only does harm to the casino, sticking around even when the pressure is on generally benefits the casino. Where attacks become "personal", rather than related to the issues, it will not be too long before order is restored. If a post deviates from the rules of forum etiquette, there is the "report post" function to draw it to the attention of one of the moderators.

Floyd, you probably found yourself in a bit of trouble over your postings because of the fact that you didn't stick around when the going got tough before, and before this, some found your answers to questions similarly "unbelievable". Looks like you got the wrong end of the stick, and assumed that Grandmaster HAD a Go Wild account, but had NOT given the casino his phone number upon registration, so you looked it up using a directory service. This too is unwise, since players probably leave out their phone number BECAUSE they do NOT want the casino to call, maybe because they keep their hobby a "secret" from other members of the household.

Yes I think that you explained this matter in the right way, I was surprised because we do try not to call our players over the phone unless if they ask us or permitted us to do so but now after I spoke to the person who wrote the post I understand that he is not a GoWild Member and probably was called by an affiliate.

I am always around the forum, though I prefer to respond in a more private manner by using PM, I believe that my responses breaks the balance of the threads - i read them all though :)

A few public contributions would help though, it proves you are around.
If a player publically posts an issue with Go Wild, you could still PM them rather than post a public reply, however, you should try to contribute when general points about Go Wild are being discussed. You will be seen to be active, and this in turn encourages members to try the PM route, since it would be obvious that you were still around.

When you "clammed up" before, many members thought you had completely quit the forum. Worse still, when it could be seen that you were logged in to the forum, but that you were seemingly ignoring the issues, it came across as though you didn't care about player problems, which might have discouraged players from using PM, but encouraged them to vent in public instead.

Most of the current Go Wild threads are ones of praise, even this one started that way.

I hope I'll be able to say something like that soon, as well.

I deposited during the big hype over GoWild. I also went in with more than what everyone else's been depositing (I trust Microgaming).
What followed is what everyone here already knows, they changed the terms, then changed them again and again... until it literally left my money trapped in there.

It is very dissatisfying to have that happen. I even ended up playing slots (which I hate), but it was like throwing money down the drain. Like, 1 eur a spin, whoa, that's 100 eur down ALREADY? That got old real fast for me. So now I've been simply autoplaying my way out and I do want out of there simply for being left feeling trapped there. I do it now and again, and I'm almost done.

I know the moment wasn't right during the shenanigans, but at least after things got a little more reasonable the original terms REALLY MUST be enforced, there should be no way for a legit casino to change the terms from what I agree to into something else. It makes no difference to me at this moment, but it is something to keep in mind for the future.
Anyway, I will keep you guys posted on how it ends, maybe in a couple of weeks or so assuming I don't hit the seaside in the meantine.

Dominka,

I am sorry I may have missed this but what terms did they change and were they imposed on you retroactively.

I think that these matters should be addressed to me by PM, Please send me your account number and I will see what is the case - its not the fairest thing to say when I cannot know the exact details :)

Also it is not true that we changed the terms - we updated the games contribution percentage (and gave players who deposited before the change enough time to finish their play by the old contribution) which is totally normal for a new casino and we did that last year, over 6 month ago - another thing is that you can play almost any game - BJ, Roulette, keno, All slots and most table games.

Pm me and I will check everything for you ;)

The only terms that I noticed that were changed are the ones on claiming of bonuses where one must contact live chat before commencing play to obtain the bonuses and free spins and not the other way round where bonuses were given automatically. Fair play IMO.

Yes, this change came in as a request from a lot of players who like to play without bonuses - we do try to contact our players when making a deposit to ask if maybe they forgot to claim the bonus, also our players can ask us to mention in their account that they would like to receive all bonuses automatically. :)

Hi Floyd off the topic but does Gwild still have withdraw limits on cash outs ?

thanks

Go Wild bonus messup

I deposited for the first time today at Go Wild, and mainly because you all had said great things about them. Now, nothing exceptionally bad happened there, and I will say the customer service rep, Emma, was as kind and pleasant as you could ask for, but there was a really big bonus messup, in my humble opinion.

I spoke at length with Emma on the deposit bonuses available to me. But she assured me she would give me the best bonus for me to me. Well she gave me a 100% deposit bonus. Then I get this email:

Hello john,

The summertime is finally here and we bring you a Sizzling Hot bonus for your first deposit at GoWild Casino.

Get a spectacular 300% Welcome Bonus up to 75 credits immediately after your first deposit. All you have to do is make your first deposit as low as 25 and you will be playing with 100 straight away!

So, she kind of missed the proverbial boat on giving me the best one for me. I think the best one for me would have been the 300% bonus. In fact, I'm pretty sure of it. Instead of getting $70 to play with (35 with 100% bonus), I would have been able to play with $110 ($35 deposit and $75 bonus). Quite a sizable difference.

I wrote them about it and was polite, merely stating the above. And the money I had went fast...I played about 45 minutes on $70, playing slots at 45cents and video poker at 75 cents a hand, so it wasn't like I was placing big bets. So, yeah, the money didn't ever get above the deposit and bonus.

So my first time there was not very positive. I wrote a little over an hour ago, and still waiting for a response. I know its not unusual to wait 2-4 hours sometimes at casinos. I still have to say, however mistaken about my bonus Emma was, she was still one of the most courteous I've ever spoken with at an online casino in a long time.

Perhaps they'll correct it for me. Other than that, I think I'll make the bonus decision from here on out.

Hi doomed4ever,

Well that depends -

progressive wins are not limited unless if the player's payment method has transaction limits which force us to split it.
New players have a limit of 5000 at the time - We try to be flexible, depends on player's loyalty points, wagering, time playing with us, etc
Players who are members of the VIP Club are a different story, they have much higher withdrawal limits.
In cases of big wins we are very flexible and there wasn't a winner of a big amount who wasn't fully satisfied with the payment settlement we offered him.

Hi Floyd thanks for the reply. Just wondering though all the other MGS I play at have no withdraw limits I checked your Terms and it states for new players its 5000 per month max withdraw. Just never seen a MG casino with any kind of with draw limits regardless if your a new player or not.

Well at least Casino Rewards limits the withdrawals for new players. Dont know what they hold as a new player. But then again its Casino Rewards, the worst MG group IMO.

From Golden Reefs T&Cs
Players who win a sum that is 5 times, or more, greater than their total purchases across all CasinoRewards partner casinos will only be able to withdraw their winnings at a sum of $4,000 a week.

Dominka,

I am sorry I may have missed this but what terms did they change and were they imposed on you retroactively.

It's been a long time ago. I'll try to keep it on point with the things that stood out in my experience.

I decided to try them out with several hundred euros, high three figure sum, a bit after everyone else (and, judging by the forum traffic here, their dog :D) did. I had a chat, and picked up their welcome offer. I did a quick calculation on the wagering, it was - for non slots - around 65k IIRC at that time. That just about matches my stakes when I try to relax.

So I start playing, and days later, after a lot of playing, like 50k or so, I notice that my screen shows that I cleared out only 120 or 130 eur worth of bonus (out of 600), with 470 remaining to clear. The terms have changed in the meantime. And the new rollovers (percentages) for most non slots games blew up my remaining rollover (only the remaining part!) to something over 220k  I was at that point, according to live chat, 13k away from completing them according to the terms that were active during registration. And new contributions - not the old ones - were being applied to my account.

I never bothered with complaining much about it, though. That's when I asked around here, which slots would people recommend for me to complete it (and gotten a couple of recommendations, and had absolutely horrible luck while trying them out!). I also asked them on the chat, can I just forfeit the 470 eur remaining bonus and withdraw, however it was not possible.

That's the gist of the story, and that's when I figured, well, I'd like out, it was no longer playing as much as clearing, and in the meantime (it was all a long time ago now) I eventually cleared almost all of it.

I think that these matters should be addressed to me by PM, Please send me your account number and I will see what is the case - its not the fairest thing to say when I cannot know the exact details :)

Thank you for the offer, Floyd.
I was confused about what to do at first, then I've simply adapted to the new rules since I did notice at the time that GoWild just needed some time to stand on its feet. Which, as I expected, it did. I am nearly done with all rollovers so it's okay. But thanks anyway. Comments like these are appreciated.:notworthy

My problem with Go Wild? I can't get out of the live chat!! We talk and talk and then I forget why I am there. I love that place. Sometimes its hard not to just go there and say hey(but I don't want to look that pathetic) Oh and the games are good too. WTG Go Wild
