Water bears!

    So today I came across this reference to 'water bears' and had never heard of them so had to look them up.

    They're these cool little microscopic creatures (tardigrades) that look like this!

    Cute huh? Not only that, they're invincible. They can live in any habitat, hot or cold - and some were regenerated from dried moss kept in a museum for over 100 years. Check out this video for some interesting factoids. :thumbsup:

    Maybe they wouldn't be so cute if they were 8 feet tall and there was a gang of them smashing down your door, but at a millimeter or less, they're incredibly cute!

    So many of these weird species, when you look up extremophile you get a whole list of em.
