I got my account fully verified before making my first deposit with Jetbull so that I could cash out whenever I wanted. I got the account verified no problem last Tuesday. I deposited 8k euro total over a few hours, won a nice sum, and then requested a withdrawal. Heard nothing from them for four days. Then I asked them why my withdrawal isnt processing if my account is fully verified? The first answer I got from an associate was my account was still being verified. Uh, ok even though I submitted everything and they had said my account was verified.

Then they came up with that they wanted income verification from me. I said okay, even though that's intrusive and no legitimate casino's asks for it, I was and am willing to send them whatever they want from me. This is the email they then sent me:
"Hi XXX,

Thanks for chatting with me earlier.
As it is not stated exactly what documents are needed for this request, I am confirming that no action is needed from you for now.
I am sending to check exactly what is needed for your withdrawal and we will get back to you via email.

Thanks for your patience.

Schönes Wochenende dir!

Kind regards,
Customer Care"

So they claim they need income verification from me for something they don't even have a procedure or know what or how to verify for. Again more stall tactics to not payout winnings, and Roguish behaviour. So finally (Sunday) they sent me some documents requiring pay stubs, banking info, when my last payment from my employer was, etc etc etc... So were going on almost a week now of them trying to stall as much as possible.

This is not a casino that is eager to take care of their higher playing clientel, or wants to pay you out. Their business strategy is stall stall stall so hopefully the customer loses back their balance. Unfortunately for them I have something called "self control."

I'm posting this to warn other players the tactics Jetbull is imploring. Do not expect quick cashouts from them in any capacity.

they need to know where your money comes from and how much are you earning. Its really simple and casinos are doing it to protect players, not themselves.

Its ok that you deposited 8k but if you dont earn too much and want to cashout, lets say 70k that could come as a shock to you and you could easily have a heart attack so they are doing all they can to prevent stuff like that from happening.

kudos to casinos for being proactive.

@theapple LOL

I actually think this seperates the good casinos from the bad ones. They're all based in Malta, all following the same laws. The big ones who don't care if you win big pay you without trying to get your whole life story and stall your payment as much as possible. The excuse these casinos make that is their "duty" to protect such and such is complete hogwash.

i would suggest a quick search of "jetbull casino" and maybe you will have some other ways of determining what to do next

No it's fine, they want to stall and have me submit the information they sent me today thats fine. I'm okay I will do it. I'm just letting everyone know how this casino operates.

yep exactly. Ive been playing at WH, pokerstars and likes for decade or so. I havent been asked to provide a single document, ever. Yet i registered at some direx casino ... maybe 2 years ago. Made a few deposits, forgot about it. They recently sent me a decent offer so i took it, tried to cashout and naturally, because in the past 2 years they didnt have enough time to ask for documents, they had to make sure im the one who gets the money, and its not some scammer using my name.

At least they made KYC easy, i only had to do the following 487 steps to get my money. Contrary to 0 steps to give them my money. All the usual stuff plus a few extra ones, just for fun

Please provide us with the following documents:

1) A selfie with ID / passport / driving license in hands (high quality) and a note indicating the current date.

2) A selfie with the casino live chat in the background while holding the ID.

3) A scanned photo with the front/back of the ID / passport / driving license.

4) Proof of address - Utility bill no older than 90 days, showing all 4 corners of the document.

Proof of deposit is required. Bellow you can find the requirements:

1) A scan / screenshot of the bank account (not older than 90 days):

- Bank Name
- Bank address
- Name on account (your account name as it appears on your bank statement)
- IBAN number (this is 24 characters in length)
- SWIFT or BIC number (8 or 11 characters in length)
- Must show Bank Logo
- Screenshots must show full page
- proof of the deposit made showing company name and amount sent

2) For Neteller or Skrill:

- We require the ID and verification code of the Neteller/Skrill account you used to deposit.
- Print screen of the e-wallet used showing your credentials
- Proof of the deposit made showing company name and amount sent

3) Credit/debit card:

- The front and back of the credit or debit card you used when making your deposit(s) (If you used this deposit method); otherwise print screen of any e-wallet used showing your full credentials.
- Proof of the deposit made showing company name and amount sent

The credit card must show:

- Both Front and Back of card must be received
- Cover the middle 8 digits of your credit card. The first and last 4 digits must be visible
- CVC/CVV number must be covered
- Must correspond with credit card number used on casino
- Picture must show whole card

4) We would also like to ask you to provide us with a screenshot of this page: WHATS MY IP

5) If any other deposit/cashout method (not mentioned in this email) is used, proof of the method needs to be provided before any payment is made.

and they want it all because they care. Also, taking a selfie balancing a passport in your hand while trying to capture live chat in background was a very fun experience.

I don't agree one little bit about asking for bank statements or wage slips, its not as if your asking for a loan, how easy would it be for rogue casinos to use these docs for there own agendas. And don't say it can't be done.

Casinos are required to verify sources of wealth for some deposits. I'm afraid this is becoming the norm and that's because of legislature not because casinos are arses

In which case the deposit should be blocked until the KYC info is sent, not allowed and KYC only requested on withdrawal.

As for WH etc never requesting docs, I can say 100% William Hill were doing AML checks on customers at least 10 years ago. Difference being, they were done when there was suspicious activity on the account, as they should be, rather than on random accounts as and when they feel like it.

At least we know they care about our security. Remember it's about us.

:eek::eek:

Which Risk agent didn't get the Large Payment notification and blocked it earlier? Not saying you're a criminal but that's a frikkin beeping nuclear alarm for possible Money Laundering.

Fine, then don't let the deposit go through if theyre so concerned about money laundering.

It doesn't strike you as odd that they only ask for a journal with your life story in it when you want a payout???

That’s something that can’t happen or at least I haven’t seen in my igaming jobs. Don’t forget. Payments are processed by a middle man. That means sharing your info with another party, are you happy sharing personal info with yet another company?

Secondly, while rules can be set in place, humans are human. What do I mean? What’s stopping me, from depositing 50 euro an hour and what’s stopping me from depositing 5000 an hour? Nothing but my savings and personal common sense. You can’t set up certain protocols.

Lastly, and no casino should use this lightly, rather not at all would be preferable but holding Withdrawals is one of the very limited tools one has to force a player to comply. Especially if they’ve been asked multiple times for docs.

Surely it works like this

1. Customers requests deposit through casino interface
2. Casino passes request to Payment Processor
3. PP processes deposit
4. PP passes success/fail code to casino
5. Casino adds to balance / displays not authorised

Why can't step 2 be 'refuse request if AML flag/concern'? No info needs to be sent to a third party, and being honest, I don't see why all AML checks aren't done manually. So if theres a flag placed on the account, deposit is auto refused, if a suspicious activity event is triggered, again, manually review it before allowing a deposit.
I can only see a few rare situations where a genuine AML trigger would be done on withdrawal, ie, depositing then no playthrough or all playthrough done on red/black type of bets. Even then if its going back to the same place, it would be hard to argue it to be money laundering.

As for the last part of your post, if you ask once for docs, especially for AML purposes, all account activity should be suspended until they are supplied. If you have a genuine suspicion that illegal activity is going on, which is the only time you should be carry out AML checks from what the UKGC guidance says, then allowing a customer to continue playing and depositing is surely enabling them to carry on any illegal act they may be doing? If you have to ask your customers more than once for documents then the account should 100% be suspended.

Might I add, most money launderers that I have heard of don't deposit 8k, play for days, and put in hours of play, and then win large sums of money... Let's not be silly here. It doesn't take a genius to figure out if something suspecious is going on with money laundering, and there should be no reason to slowpay someone for this reason alone when you have all your customers KYC documents and have fully verified them.

Now you want the customer's life's journal despite having every other private detail about them?

Does anyone actually think this is not a stall tactic by Jetbull to get the customer to lose back the funds?

This is actually the scary part. When you are "verifying" yourself to the casino who knows where these casinos will be in five years. Then they have every little bit of information to steal your identity and funds from your bank account.

@colinsunderland Really well said and put. All this rubbish about "money laundering" and "illegal activity" and "safety" is complete BS and we know where the bull went number 2.

If that was the reason they were doing these checks then why the hell do they still allow you to keep depositing and playing on the website? Just no payouts until you give them a life journal of yourself. You can play on their website and lose money to your hearts content. But to know and save them from funding terrorism and ISIS they must do this. They need the money to go to them not terrorists or organized crime, which a lot of these outfits probably are anyway.

Just to say, as much as I don't agree with how some casinos do the AML checks, they do have to do them sometimes, and sometimes they could be doing stuff without the customer knowing, such as sending SAR's without restricting access in case it alerts the customer to any investigation.

Oh the plot thickens. Now it's my play in the Topcard/Football studio of Evolution Gaming. You know the game that is totally 50-50 with a huge house edge when a draw occurs? The one where there is a built in house edge and absolutely no way to beat the game? Well apparently Jetbull doesn't know this and now they have to review my play in it:

Hello XXXX,

Apologies for the late response and for the delay on your withdrawals.

This happened because our security department are still checking your game played, apparently there are some issues with the FootballStudio game that need to be checked before we approve any withdrawal transaction.

This will be solved in the shortest time possible and we will notify you with an update regarding your transactions.

Please have a little more patience and everything will be solved.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Kindest regards!"

We are now at a week. Patience I have, but I am not a fool. This is starting to look very bad and rogue behavior which is really a shame because this casino is supposedly given good reviews. You never know in this gaming atmosphere anymore.
