Recently I discovered more and more casinos are including previous deposits that were zeroed out as part of the wagering requirements before ashing out. Say I deposit 100 twice and lost them. If i make a third deposit the wr should be 300 ie 100x3 but the casino's system says it should be 900 as they take into account even the deposits that were lost. This happened to me at 2 different casinos so I am wondering whether the system they used or calculation came from the same producer. Anyone with similar experiences?

BetUK screwed me over a few years back. I took a deposit bonus but soon lost all bar about 8p which I could not wager due to amount too low for any minimum spin. Deposited cash without a bonus and had a few good wins so opted to withdraw, but this was denied. I logged on to chat to ask why, they said I still had wagering to complete on original amount which the 8p was part of. I asked if the bonus amount balance (8p) could be removed to I can withdraw winnings on my latest deposit, they said yes and then removed everything from my account. Yep, literally everything - 8p plus about £50 deposit and around £400 of winnings.

I logged back in to chat and asked where my money went, they said I requested for it to be removed to clear the wagering, which clearly I did not mean for latest deposit and winnings to be removed! I asked for it to be reversed, they said no as it's already done. My account was then closed and in following few days I joined up here!

All the Alderney casinos (Magical Vegas, Spin n Win etc) do this, despite clearing the balnace to 0. There was a time I had three bonuses to wager through despite having lost all the bonus funds and cleared the balance each time.

They give lots of bonuses out but not worth taking a second bonus until the previous has timed out. Timings iut the bonus seems to be the only way to not have to wager previous lost bonus. And all with max 5x conversion, awful terms. I do stupidly take them from time to time just to prolong playtime (after all it is about entertainment) but never get through the 50x deposit and bonus wagering.

Those kinds of shenanigans that casinos pull are definitely a thing of the past since the Dutch market was launched one year ago. I must say that in spite of the smaller number of gambling sites (fortunately, more to come), it does give players peace of mind knowing that bonus terms are quite reasonable and payments are fast.

At least this can't be done in the UK anymore...one positive tick for the UKGC I guess. Your cash balance has to be kept separate from bonus funds. As I understand, on many casinos they now implement a system whereby if you deposit £50 and have a £50 bonus (for example) and you won £100 on first spin, the bonus balance would increase by a % as would your cash balance. The bonus amount would then be automatically scrubbed if you chose to withdraw.

Well, sometimes wagers really seem to be the biggest evil for a player. Taking MegaPari into account where a player is free to choose among really wide range of payment methods, the system tries to avoid transferring money from one wallet to another. Well, money loundering, especially when we talk about crypto. The casino wants to make sure that deposits will be used to play and not to violate the T&C.

Make sure to zero out any bonus balance before you deposit again to play with cash, a new deposit is a new session, any previous bonus should be irrelevant .
