So here is the story. Deposited £100 at Betsafe on a 100% match bonus. Requirement is 40x bonus amount, e.g. £4,000 to be wagered

During a seven hour session (!!), I so far have wagered 68% of this, meaning there is still £1,280 to be wagered.

The good news is that I still have £337 to play with.

So here is the question: what slot is best to play on that has the most potential for a big win but at the same time doesn't eat money like DOA, Rhino etc does?

The casino hosts Netent and WMS slots which I prefer to play. They have other slots too: You must register/login in order to see the link.

Your suggestions and tactic are very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

My advise is never go for a slot for wagering .. just play the games u enjoy ..

bcs as u know they all can be bad and good ....

i ahve some good wins on yggardsil new game doubles .. so u may try it at .50

gemix and bloodsuckers will be good fir wagering but not a big chanve for a big hit

as i can see u have a good win recently ... may be you should play the games u dont always play at a medium size and try to enjoy it

wht ever u do all the best

    Impossible question to answer.
There is no slot that has a potential of big winning but doesn't eat the balance much.
You have to choose between playing low variance slot for the minimum risk of losing all your balance or playing high variance for a possible of big winning.

If I were you, with $330 balance and $1200 wagering to go, would play a low variance for around $600 wagering, and would go to DOA for the rest of wagering.

Personally I would chose gemix and bet low. That slot eats the balance extremely slowly, although like already mentioned, the chance of hitting very high is not too big.

I'd try Avalon at 40-80p spins or why not other wms like kronos or Zeus just at 40-60p spins, I got way more playtime out of these two than I do on rhino.

Another option Is magic portals it hits Mega big wins easily and blathaon told me he uses it for pesky wagering.

My final suggestion is planet moolah and crystal forest being at 50p bets and up it by 1 level when you hit a feature paying at least 25-30. Wouldn't go higher than 75p though or you'll get eaten. It does wagering really fast because it's cascading reels.

For a slot that is highly likely to keep you going for ages, I'd suggest Twit Spin - 75p spins, plus good chance of actually increasing the balance with various combos, no full screen necessary. I have rarely ever seen it lose 100x stake (say £75) quickly. You'll be amazed at how quick about 1500 spins will go on it.....

Thanks for all of the suggestions.

I managed to get all of the current wagering and getting to the current balance done by some decent wins on Rhino, Ruby Slippers and DOA (video coming up for that next week) and peaked at £550 when it started to go south so I thought best to stop because my luck was running out. Frustrating bit was that I never touched the bonus part of the money but because all of the money was tied up I couldn't cancel the bonus and make a decent cash out.

Have some 3 twelve hour shifts coming up so will start wagering it on Monday.

Will keep all posted on how it is going.

In the meantime, I am all ears for anybody else that has suggestions.

Partially the same as Muziq said.

I'd chose say 10 slots which you've played in the past (recentish) but not your main 'go to' games

Try £5-£10 on each and if no joy move on to the next on the list. I employ this tactic (but also include faves) quite often.

Does not always provide results but most times I have cleared WR and managed a decent session.

As Dunover says too Twin Spin can be great for wagering but I've noticed (for me at least) that this game seems very cold the last few days, next to no join up's and when they do come its 3 mis-matched symbols.

With regards Twin Spin - I played that last night / this morning as part of the wagering and, like you, for me it wasn't playing ball. It was part of the path when it went going south.

I'm biased as I always play DOA as my main game BUT i would say this - on the occasions I've played with a bonus and hit a wildline i've always managed a withdrawal around the amount i won even with huge wagering.

Manage your play carefully (i.e. set a firm limit as to where you'll stop if it hits it) and return later if its really cold and you're pretty sure to make wagering.

That said, there are always exceptions to the rule but I think its easily achievable. Never know, you may even end up with a profit if you hit a decent win.

Everyone has made good and valid points, but personally, I'd always go with one of my best/most favourite games, no matter what the variance level is. While I understand that you want to have something to show for your efforts from this playthrough,
you don't want to be playing with the feeling that you're merely trying to hang on. Sometimes "playing not to lose" can backfire badly.
Then you end up wishing you had taken your chances on a slot that is clearly not for grinding out wagering, but is one that is among your favourites and gives you the most enjoyment, even on a not so successful day. One that might deliver the kind of win that instantly takes the "pressure" off you.

I'll give you one example. I've done entire playthroughs playing one game...IR. Now ask anyone on this forum if they think that IR is a good game for grinding out wagering...and they will most likely say GTFOOH. But guess what? I feel totally comfortable finishing a playthrough by playing IR. Certain games just "do it" for us.

Ask yourself....would you prefer to go bust playing DOA or Starburst? Or to use an MG example.....playing IR or Munchkins?

    Have to agree sir!

I have made many a play thru on IR alone (or at least say 90% of it)

However this was prior to 2015 when they decided I'd won enough from the game and sent 'Scatter Inhibitors' through over night, cleverly disguised as anti virus updates!

Isn't betsafe not just a select set of vendors I didn't think wagering was allowed on MG? It's just dawned on me. I hate when it's only netent you can do the wagering on there are a fair few that allow netent only wagering.

I get impatient, and I rarely try to grind. I think a lot depends on how and at what betsize you usually play. It seems perhaps patience is not a problem, and you want to keep playing for many many hours. If you deposited $25, $300 is a big cashout. If you deposited $100, I'd probably keep playing at .75 to $1, games that are not too high a variance.

If you love hours of play, Gemix is a pretty good choice. JATB can have its good moods, set a dollar amount to try on it (ie $20 @ .40 cents).

Personally, I hate Egg o matic, but it's probably a good one for your purposes.

I would definitely take an aggressive approach on the next $37 though. Wild Rockets @ .50 pretty much never has a totally dead spell, and can produce some really big wins.

I love Starburst, truly I do. But I play enough at higher stakes I'd hate to hit that mythic top pay on a ten cent bet, lol.

I don't know if there are any restricted or weighted games at Betsafe. But some other casino's lists might give you some inspiration;)

Whatever you end up doing, as long as you don't get too impatient or greedy (my problems), you should manage a cashout if you keep your bets small. Mind you, I've had lots of sessions where I don't manage 3x playthrough on a bonus, and that's not at huge bets or very high variance.

And some of my best wins have come from being a little impatient.

I don't honestly know mate, as I've never played at Betsafe. I was merely using an example from two different vendors. My knowledge on variance levels for WMS games is fairly weak. All I know is that Rhino, Red Flag Fleet, Fire Queen, Bruce Lee, Zeus 3 and Montezuma are either high or very high variance. If you asked me to tell you a WMS game which was medium or low variance, I would struggle to think of one quickly, if at all.

You do wagering on all slots there now.

Used to be different and they also had the casino black. But its now uniformed if u can say that and they run their slogan as No BS. So surely there is no more BS :p

@paskedeknow thanks man. @ mcgameboy I'd say kiss and Spartacus are low to medium variance and sea of tranquility is medium as are moolah and crystal forest.

I have always had most success with playing only 1 or a couple slots to make wagering. Like your example IR on a lucky day it will keep going up and down and if you change ur stake or try bit up and down. Then suddenly you have flown through 1000s in wagering. Done same thing at 32Red many times. I have actually managed to wager the 100% dish bonus most time I have played. Call it my own little secret or luck hehe. But rare have I cashed out as I in my time as player never have cashed out just after finishing a bonus to show loyalty to the casino (call me stupid  )

Sometimes I bustout when I could have cashed out at 32Red because I become a little too focused on the Slotmeister and take my off the cashing out ball. As for cashing out straight after clearing WR on a bonus, I tend not to do that either. If I have £1,500 of WR to do, I will almost always do at least £1,750, but I've done as much as £6,000 before cashing out...or...ahem...busting out
