Hi, i am wondering if anyone have tried using vpn to play slots? With all the restrictions om countries nowadays someone May have exceprience with it? Also im curious if we get paid if winning as it is at best in a gray area :p

I did use it to test Games, when i was travelling, or if they were Geo-Blocked from Holland, and i wanted to review them anyway.
I wouldn't recommend it when using your real money..especially on Games that are normally Geo-Blocked..It could be o.k., say, if you are from England, where you normally play WMS and IGT, but are going on a trip to another Geo-Location, and want to play your own games from there too.
However, i would definitely check this with support, or better yet, management beforehand!

If you just want to play slots which you are allowed from where you live, but while you are on holiday abroad, I think you might get away with it.
But if you're trying to play games (for real money) from where you live and they are blocked there - I would think you are risking having your winnings confiscated.

Of course, if you lose I doubt the casinos would give a hoot! :p

due to regulator IP restriction i'm in the position to use VPN. out of 4 casinos where i asked and previousl played i was permitted by two. checking with support is a must. try hide.me free VPN renewable also for free, gives Nederlands IP witch bears no restrictions and easy to set.

same thing here, but unfortunately one casino only is allowing me to play using the VPN. However, I am happy with this one. :)

More in general, considering the awful situation we have here, I guess that the first casino finding out a good technical solution (to avoid abuses) and allowing us to register and play, it will earn a true fortune.

I think the casinos might get in some trouble if the suppliers/licence authorities found out that the casinos turned the blind eye against players playing with an VPN to get past geo-restrictions.

well this is why no casino names should be typed in this matter, is a mutual service that affects no one and benefits both parties. is up to casinos to avoid the law moles and identify genuine requester in a bad position.

I asked the casino i wanted to do it at, being honest that it is because i want to play slots not available in norway. The encouraged me not to as i may not get my withdrawal. So not a clear no (as it is not in terms as i could see). But i guess no wms for me :( really hoped a found a loophole not involving driving to sweden which is a bit drastic lol

CyberGhost here.

Of course, if you're restricted from playing any games not allowed in your jurisdiciton, then don't.
Now, as to whether you speak privately with a rep and they turn a blind eye, that's between you and the casino. (coughcough)

I DO know there are some casinos, that EVEN with a vpn, the games still won't show based on your login alone.

Any of you would be insane to use a VPN when playing with real funds. A vague acquiescence from a Rep means fuck all.

Eventually you'll get a large withdrawal denied, and said rep suddenly won't have the authority to make these decisions. You'll be left blubbing on the forums expecting someone else to sort out your mess.

VPN's have been largely banned for years, use some common sense for Christs sake.

Actually, some reps are managers and owners and emails are forever...far cry from 'vague aquiescence'.
I'm rather familiar with common sense.
There's actually rather a lot of casinos that allow players to play restricted games, as most people in restricted games specific-regions know.

But as above you'll note, my advice WAS 'Of course, if you're restricted from playing any games not allowed in your jurisdiciton, then don't.'

Well it should have read "Don't use a VPN, it's against the Terms of just about every online casino"

I mentioned nothing about restricted games.

It's also against the terms of just about every online casino to have 2 accounts per household.
Doesn't mean a private word via pm can't sort that though and many spouses have their own accts at the same casino.

But yes, with a VPN, better safe than sorry.

Prima facie fraud. Doesn't matter if you are using it to break rules or laws or are just into privacy. It isn't hard to detect, and it tends to look suspicious. Ask yourself if you want to look suspicious.

No it isn't hard to detect. I use a Vpn to surf the net with address here in Canada but the Vpn service comes from the USA. Every time I forget it's on and sign into any casino it tells me I'm trying to sign in from a restricted country even though the VPN is set to Canada.

So I would stay away from using any vpn with any casinos. Videoslots usually locks me out. And I have to go thru chat services to get my account activated again.

I've even been locked out of Casinomeister because the ipad browser had a wandering IP and had to contact Bryan to get back in.

really? isn't this NSA policy 1:1, the sort of 'i have nothing to hide so listen my phone, look at my browsing history and see what and where i bought goods with my credit card so you can better fight terrorism '. if you aren't into privacy let us know when you install a webcam in your bedroom and make public email/facebook passwords. until then you look suspiciously guilty, ask yourself if you want this, to disappoint the anonymous authority that wasn't elected and brakes the law every other moment to be assured you are a good guy

Don't bother. They won't give you any winnings. One of the accredited casinos works with VPN but they found out very quickly something was screwy. I managed to win a good amount and tried to withdraw but they then claimed my correct banking info was wrong. It was clear they were never going to give me a cent. Never again. Sadly, this casino is terrible without a VPN. With it, I could play WMS. Some of the videos in my YouTube channel Outdated URL (Invalid) showcase the games I could play.

Not sure what the NSA crap is about. It looks suspicious to people you are doing business with. On the front end, your internet service provider. The back end, the casino operator. There are others inbetween that front end and back end that they do business with as well that can raise concerns. A good rule of thumb is that you can use anonymity without notice when using resources that allow anonymity.

VPN's weren't created for anonymity. They were created to allow secure tunnels across the internet to conduct business privately without buying dedicated telecom lines. Later secure protocols were created to allow secure transmission of session information without them. You should already be using these protocols when you connect to any businesses, including casinos and share your private information. If the NSA is actually on your worry list you wouldn't type a single character here.

I use DOTVPN,a Google Chrome app/extension purely for testing purposes if a paricular game would not load in Ireland due to restrictions.

I never used it for real money accounts and never will
I don't see the point in that as a casino restricts certain countries for their own specific reasons.
Think about it,you could win big and your monies will obviously not being paid anyway. ;)

But a VPN is also handy for me for other purposes such as watching certain Dutch TV programs that are country restricted when trying to access them from Ireland for example.
With a VPN I do not encounter any issues anymore.

Hence, the media is light years behind and should lift those stupid restrictions as they make no sense at all.
Why can I not watch my favourite Dutch TV shows in Ireland as a Dutch person?
I guess it is all about teh monee monee. :D

But we have VPN so no worries here.

Mg games do not load on my iPad when I'm not using a VPN. Do you have the same problem or your talking the lack of games that's why casino is terrible.

They simply didn't have enough games. Maybe 8 dozen at most. All the VPN added were WMS and IGT slots such as Black Knight II, KISS, Raging Rhino, Bier Haus, Cleopatra and Elvis. Even then, maybe 2 or 3 dozen more. My locals have never brought in Black Knight II or Double Money Burst slots.

Most casinos block VPN when you're logged in. The ones that don't will know if there's a discrepancy. I just use it now to play at free sites.
