Regarding the fees, i am paying 40 NOK or 4 euro in fees for every deposit i do with my Visa at Betsson,Betsafe,Norges automaten,Bingo.com. Last month i did 119 deposits , look at my attachment. They charged me 4800 NOK /480 Euro. in the end of the month. I was shocked ! I confronted my VIP manager at Bingo .com but they ignored me completely. 01B12DCA-1127-440C-B0E3-FF6860F872A4.png

I've read some chatter about Norwegian gambling laws. Maybe this is their way around having transactions blocked by the banks?

Yes ,i believe so. But why do the casinoes not inform us about it in advance. That is dissapointing.
Looks like it is your bank fees.

You should contact bank and say , you have just payed with card. Why fees..

1 month " utland " visa transactions ?

BML cant do nothing about what your bank is taking.

Its not that simple, i have contacted my bank, they blame Visa . I am sure the casinoes have found that using this solution, hide it so it looks like an ATM withdrawal.

Visa isn't the biggest fan of gambling transactions. I have two different Visa cards from two different banks and they both introduced a fee for gambling transactions some time ago. IIRC 7.5% at the one and 5% at the other. You probably got a notification about updated T&Cs for your Visa some months ago where they introduced that gambling transactions are seen as ATM withdrawals from December 1st.

There's nothing casinos can do about it. It sucks but I'm afraid you have to look out for other payment options if you don't want to pay those fees.

Is this on a credit card? credit cards will charge fees for gambling transactions.

also it could be if you are depositing with a different currency, I have been charged like that before when depositing in USD from a GBP bank account.

ie. your bank account uses kr and you're depositing to casinos in euros?

Depositing has become a gamble in itself for Norwegian players. You never know how much it's going to cost you. You lose some on currency exchange too.

But I don't think I've had a transaction is charged as an ATM withdrawal before. You should definitely have been informed of this in advance. Being charged €480 in fees is crazy!
