I take it Marty must be a personal friend then Bryan....cause there was no problem in flaming the shit out of Robert Green?

What's the scoop? Now we have to handle Virtual with kid gloves?

24 pages of flame right here:

Simple decision I guess. Is there a possible player benefit to having someone from Virtual accessible? If the answer is yes then lashing the rep publically is more detrimental to players than it is to Virtual.

But wasn't there a possible player benefit having Robert Green accessible as well? What's the difference?

Very reminiscent of the fact that it was okay to call out Gamtrak et al. over promoting Virtual...yet it was not okay to do the same to certain other webmasters. Fair for one, fair for all....sorry, that's the way I see it.

And I swear to God, if someone tells me they met with Marty in Amsterdam, and he has promised that Virtual is turning over a new leaf....I'm gonna hurl my breakfast all over my monitor.

Allowing Virtual, or anyone who works for them...to maintain some sort of "legitimacy" gives players (especially newbies) a false sense of security where these crooks are concerned. Not good...I don't care if Marty is the second coming of Mother Theresa. He's not the owner of the place(s)...he's the affiliate manager. And as such, I would assume his hands are tied, just the same as all the others who came before him.

What I mean by "flaming" is name-calling. That's all. There is no preferential treatment here - just trying to be fair.

If a casino rep makes the effort to try and resolve any outstanding issues, then let them have their say. But if you want this thread to digress into an emotional pool of insults and accusations, well then that's your choice. So much for problem solving.

I just thought that I would address this issue before it happens instead of waking up in the morning with a load of "report a post" messages waiting for me in my mailbox.

But hell, hurling insults seems to be the vogue thing these days. Who am I to stop it?

There are many ways to make a point without resorting to personal attacks, that's what I'm getting at.

For the record, I've never met the guy - nor did I meet anyone from Virtual in Amsterdam.

I agree!!!! I would also like to add that when I did first start playing RTG many years ago, it was with Virtual and when I won I did get paid.

The error I made one time was not reading the bonus rules and thus losing a small jackpot to the wagering requirements and max cashout rule. This was my own fault for not paying attention and it has happened plenty with any and all casinos.

If I remember correctly, you and Max have been a bit over the edge yourself this past year or so. Maybe it is sunspots? Or climate change? :D

What is the correct way to let a mod know they are being, oh you know, snarky and short tempered? ;)

Can we make a citizen arrest if we are members in good standing? :p

I'm not sure if you meant this to be funny, but it's making me laugh, could you imagine? No one would be left at the forum. hahahaha

Me either all the times I used to play there.

    Ditto on this

We are allowed to pick on and chase away only the ones chosen by the group. I am glad someone else has seen the hypocrisy in these threads. You can't have it both ways. You either run em all off or you keep them here until they prove themselves wrong.

    Double ditto.

So what happened??? It seems it is more like Fair for one that I chose , fair for some that I choose.
So how does this work? Do we have to get permission on who the pick of the day is?

Amazing...I am too enthralled over these responses that I am awestruck that you can actually own up to beating up people on one hand and it is ok for you to do this but others that have legitimate questions cannot question reps because we chase them off??

AMAZING...As Jod413 said, read what you write and you will be amazed at YOURSELVES too!

Nope, not being funny at all, nor dramatic, just ticked finally with the double speak around here.

I didn't ask for permission nor was I raked for what I said in that thread, and I'd say it again. That was then.....this is now. Have a raked the new guy......nope, waiting to see what he has to say if anything.

Silcnlayc, you are trying to start crap here by taking part of something that was said and putting the whole focus on it as that really shouldn't be the focus here at all. Pina and I were both questioning the seemingly double standard that CM was applying to Robert vs the new guy. So the thread is about double standards.......but not mine.

Not at all, it was already started and CM even came in to make sure it did not go any further. I was just pointing out some huge discrepencies and how things are made to suit the occassion with out any true merit by others.
Ok, if you tried to make a funny you succeeded...because this was exceptionally funny and coming from you to boot! Thank you.

If you've got anything else to say to me......do it by PM, so we won't derail the thread. You don't like me nor my opinions.....and frankly I don't give a shit.

Well, all that said, Welcome to the forum Marty!!! As you may have noticed there are a lot of women here and on this thread, so obviously there is a hormone issue here more than anything.

    I freely admit mine.:D

Laurie, your comment to the rep is also uncalled for. Obviously some don't even have enough respect for Bryan's request either.

Geez........what part of Laurie's post was disrespectful? Did she say anything to the rep.........nope, nor to Bryan.

Boy, I came to read this thread thinking it would be very interesting to see some of the virtual complaints resolved - or at least to hear what Marty has to say. Instead I am reading about women and hormones. :p

    Oh Marty...........

Come out, come out, wherever you are. :p

I invited you here to talk to players from the past that played at your casinos. Lots of problems that you assured me and others that you wanted to fix.

The clock is ticking, Marty. Let's roll up our sleeves and get to work, right?

It's only been a couple days mate. Give him a chance. I'm sure he's busy doing whatever virtual group casino management does. Their clock runs a bit differently than everyone elses. He's probably personally processing every back owed payment. ;):)

This sums it all up....great movie quote....

Who is Keyser Soze? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for Soze. You never knew. That was his power.

The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, poof. He's gone.
