Virgin Games....

Whilst at work ex- girlfiend calls them up, states shes my girlfriend asks for my password as says shes been locked out, shes then given new password accesses my account spends my monies.
The worst part of this is on contacting virgin i was met with complete arrogance and hostility and asked to speak to a manager at least 10 times and was told each time hes gone out.I have asked for contact details of governing bodies etc and am literally laughed at ..
virgin have locked the account now andf i have money remaining in the account and am now told from virgin i should of withdrew it at its now lost..? i since tried contacting virgin and refuse to be spoken to anymore,im told email correspondence only..?
i feel very much aggreived as none of this is any fault on my part can anyone help?
they cant get away with this

Virgin are a big brand, with a good reputation - it's unlikely they'd intentionally attempt to "rip you off".

You need to document everything in an email, and send it to customer services - receiving a documented reply.

I assume your ex must've had all your security details etc?

Wagerworks casino's C/S are shared across a few of the brands - so they're not always the most responsive in my experience. Nevertheless, you should persevere in writing - I'm sure they'll ultimately want to do the right thing.

Odd

Even if your ex had all the security details, they should not have given her the password, the one detail she didn't have. If she claimed to be your girlfriend, and not you, they should have not even entertained the notion of giving out the password, and they should have informed you that this attempt was made.
According to T & C, your girlfriend, ex or not, had no business playing your account in the first place.

The Virgin site is probably licenced in Gibraltar.
Take up their invitation to converse by E-mail, as this will put their arguments in writing, and you will then have your own record.
If you can get them to admit by E-mail that your girlfriend called, and was given your password, Vigin games are screwed! It would imply they give out lost information to anyone who has the right responses, regardless if it is obvious they are not you. This is a breach of data protection legislation, as your password is your personal security lock for your account. The case would be obvious, a GIRL asking for her "Boyfriends" password is NOT the account owner. If I phoned up my Mother's bank, and gave them the usual security data (which I would know, being her son), they would still require explicit permission from my Mother before they would discuss anything - this is how the data protection act SHOULD have been applied by Virgin games. Gibraltar, although not part of the EC, have similar legislation to protect data, and Virgin, being a UK brand, are expected to ensure that if they outsource their operations, a similar level of protection is applied.
Theoretically, you could sue Virgin UK in the small claims court for the lack of care shown by their subcontractor running the casino games site.

Thanks... Ive sent countless emails with only the automated response and not one single reply, virgin just simply refuse to speak to me and their are still money in the account or was, the account is closed so what do i do now?they refuse to engage in any correspondence?
Its just the pure ignorance rudness and hostility from them, this could of been resolved quite easily.

They have a Rep here, and should he think of not answering your mail, i am quite convinced, he would give CM a hint why.
I am sure, this matter will be resolved shortly and very clearly.

Hi LeeBond00,

I remember speaking to you on the phone last friday, but I'm still to receive the email I asked you to send or CC me with a full report on the problem (since I don't have access to the support center system from here, I cannot check your email history).

I will liaise with our call center today and try to clear things up.
Will PM you back as soon as I know more.

Cheers,

This was first logged on the 1st feb i believe with the poker site. i have copies of all emails sent and it seems i have placed what should of been in cc into subject by mistake sorry.
Nonetheless the service has been a discrace and it is not the money i am concerned about its the fact access was given to my account.I was informed by "linda" that anyone can phone up give in correct details and gain access to accounts at virgin, and she went on to say "as sometimes people make mistakes and enter male when it should be female and incorrect dates of birth" etc.. i would like for you to listen into to all the calls please and listen to the manner in which i have been spoken, calls disconnected. everything you need to know is there as all calls are recorded.

What a Joke

What a complete load of rubbish.
Firstly i contacted Virgin and told them she had accessed the account from my home whilst i was at work.
Fraudulent accounts -Virgin is a joke. Could they not come up with a better excuse, it is complete garbage.
Emails not replied to at all. Oh sorry i got 1 today as below. For the record i contacted webdollar and because my account is locked or closed at virgin i cannot withdraw and im told there is only $20 in the account wheres the rest of it?. Is this standard practice for virgin to do as they please. to make up rubbish and withhold monies.?

Dear Lee,

Thank you for your e-mails regarding your account.

We can confirm the closed status of your account will remain, however should you
wish to discuss the remaining balance of the account in question please contact
Webdollar on the following freephone number:

Hi,

We have completed the investigation, and here's what comes out:

- Your account has been locked by our fraud department, as it is associated with fraudulent accounts (several accounts are registered at this address, one fraudulent, all of them are locked).

- All activity on your account originates from the same IP address, which means all bets from your ex-girlfriend were placed from your house (which could be explained, but still is suspicious).

- According to our call center, all your emails were replied to.

- You will be contacted by our call center soon, who will guide you through the process of withdrawing your current balance.

In any case, your account will remain locked because of its association with fraudulent accounts.

I will not rest untill this rubbish whats been said is sorted out. I have also requested informaton regarding the governing body of virgin poker, as i have requested this from them earlier and was told they did not know that information and was laughed at.
Also requested 4 times under the data Protection act all information held on my account be sent to myself including telephone converations and would like this to be done asap. and yet no replies.
If Virgin or Prks would kindly submit replies TO THESE EMAILS these emails on this site i would be more than happy and give consent to do so because im sure they cannot.
PLEASE LETS SEE THE REPLIES IM WAITING.............
This is no fault of mine and they are trying to cover up and turn the blame back on me. well im not going to let this stop here due to this fact. Please see to it my requests are met.

Wagerworks poker product is only Get Minted, WPT and At The Races, Virgin are on the Boss network.

No im still waiting for some sort of correspondence... where are the email replies i requested to be shown on this site ..? There is none thats why theres none been shown.
Virgin have made up some story about having several accounts at the same address and one fraudulent,(why 1 fraudulent one, thought it was one account per household.?) probable excuse is to discredit me and make me look bad.

5 days passed now sonce my request for the emails still no reply , i have emailed virgin and sent prk a Pm. also awaiting correspondence regarding fraudulent activites...no response regrding the data protection and all information i requested. When i initially spoke to prk as he stated a couple of weeks ago, i called him up and he stated he works in marketing and the virgin poker site has nothing to do with him whatsoever or virgin as the site is outsourced. ... Im not taking bets on the date of when i recive any reply or answer and not a load of made up rubbish from vigin.

sorry;: go the mainsite.
on the left you find a menu, in which you will see: pitch a bitch.
Go there, fill out the form -
and that s all for the first step.

Hi Leebond,

According to our system, you followed our instructions and made a card withdrawal for $69.31 on the 14th of February.

Since we are very willing to put this whole issue at rest, let me know by PM what time is a good time for us to call you tomorrow, or if you prefer email (we tried to call you twice yesterday but calls weren't answered).

Cheers,
