Hello

I recently received in the post (snail mail!) an offer from Casino Rewards for 50 free spins on Mega Moolah on 3 of their Casinos.

I picked Villento and downloaded the software. I made the minimum deposit of £20. The 50 free spins were then credited in the form of a £25 bonus used on 50 spins at £0.50 each. After 50 spins my balance was in the £80-90 range and so I continued playing but upped the stakes to £2.50 per spin. I got a 5-scatter result for £250 and a few free spins bonuses on top giving me a nice sum to withdraw (couple hundred pounds). I went to withdraw but saw I still had £46 in bonus balance to clear before withdrawals were available.

I opened a chat window and asked the operator about this. He said I had to wager 30 x the bonus amount of £46 before I could withdraw (£1380 total). I asked where the £46 had come from and he said that £25 was for the free spins and another £21 was for a 100% first deposit bonus (not sure where the extra pound is from). I wasn't aware this second bonus was being applied.

Anyway, he said I was only a few pounds away from clearing the first £10 of the bonus (it would go down in £10 increments). So I carried on playing, and carried on winning:) By the time I had cleared the bonus, I had around £600. I then played some blackjack and withdrew £800.

I have had an email saying this is processing (reversible for 48hrs, then 2-3 working days to reach account...).

All good so far!

However, I have now read several horror stories of CasinoRewards players having winnings confiscated due to a breach of a rule stating you cannot bet more than 25% of the bonus amount in one spin.

Whilst clearing the bonus, my bets were £0.50, then £2.50 and then £6.25 once my balance was in the hundreds. I made no bet greater than £6.25.

At first glance, this appears to be OK as 25% of £46 is £11.50 and all my bets were under that amount. However, if they treat the bonuses separately, it would be 25% of £25 and then 25% of £21. These are £6.25 and £5.25 respectively. So you could argue that some bets were £1 over the maximum allowed, depending on how they were allocated!

The agent on the chat window seemed to talk as though it was one bonus (e.g. "You have a bonus balance of £46 and must wager £1380 to clear it"). And as far as I can see, they were applied to the account simultaneously at my first deposit.

Am I worrying unnecessarily? Do you think I will get my winnings with no probs?

Many thanks for any advice/assurance!

Did the offer say: First deposit bonus...."get 100% match and 50 free spins"?

In my view you deposited 20$ and received 46 bonus chips, hence you should be OK.

No the postal offer was only talking about 50 free Mega Moolah spins. I don't recall ever seeing anything about a first deposit bonus being added on top. It may have flashed up somewhere but I don't recall reading this. Still, the people on chat were all very helpful so hopefully it will be all be ok!

I think I got the same, I will add a scan, What annoys me is that say you get 10 free spins that = £5 than you use them and win a 100 than the wager will be on the 100 & not the original spins are worth, This is where when they give you say £10 cash in spins and use the money and win than again the winnings have to be wagered, Not what the spins was actually worth,

If they stick cash in instead of the spins than really the wager should be what ever cash they add and not what you win,
Because they can sting you, say you aloud to bet 25% of bonus spins and they give you a £10, But you win 100 than in reality the 25% should be £25 and not £2.50 as they expect you to wager the winnings x amount of times and not what the free spins are worth, This is where they sting you by saying you bet over £2.50 what the original spins are worth but expect you to wager what ever you win, Sorry but they cannot have it both ways

I'm not sure it works like that - I think you only have to gamble the amount of the bonus 30 times, not the winnings. Obviously you'll need winnings in order to do this:)

In my case I had £46 in the bonus bank and so I needed to wager £46 x 30. Because I had some good wins on Mega Moolah, I was able to do this. Eg at £2.50 a spin, 100 spins is already £250 off that wagering requirement.

So Spintee, did you use the offer at all? That is the same leaflet I got.

No I put it straight in the bin :) Took it back out to show the guys on here, I belive the group is fair, I do not play them as I had a few mates sign up to them years ago from my house, Genuine players but b4 I knew about the all the sign ups and stuff, So I thought its best to be safe than sorry, Still get many of offers low, To many to tell the truth,

I just reread your post and seen that the original £25 bonus for the spins had to be wagerd and not the winnings, At least they was upfront on that,

If the max bet is 25% than I would not of risked no more than the 25% of the smaller amount of bonus £21 so £5.25 should of been your max bet,

This is bonus is stacked and not added together, You may have a case to argue saying you thought they was combined which they may have,

I trust all will be ok. They seem reputable and the bonus appears to have been considered to be all one sum from the chat transcript. I've just had an email saying that my ID is all confirmed and congratulating me on a win, so looks like all is going through ok. This is great as this is the best result I've ever had from a relatively small deposit. I will keep this thread updated.

Played there years ago, everything went OK, including cash-outs. I got that junk mail too, but I could see Mega Moolah logo through the envelope so it was torn in half before I even opened it.:)

They do pay out when you win within the T&C's, just stay strong and don't fall for their stupid 25% bonus to reverse offer...

Just was told on chat that my winnings will be released from the payment department on Monday morning. This is great news. I hadn't heard of Villento or Casino Rewards before I got their mail shot, but the marketing is worked and they will now have a new regular customer:)

CR have been around for as long as I can remember.
I don't quite know what the deal is, but they seem to "mop up" all the failed MG download casinos; They originally started out with just a handful, but now they run over 30 different casinos - most of which have been imported from other defunct operators.

Some people don't like their marketing techniques, but I had it explained to me in person by the forum rep and I am personally happy with their policy on this. Of course, like any other operators, they get their fair share of spamming rogue affiliates - but they do seem to deal with them fairly efficiently.
Speaking of the rep, if you do ever need to escalate something higher than the standard CS, I'm sure she will be more than willing to help out: https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/12872/

Nice win!

Thanks:) £800 from a £20 deposit. When I saw the 5 scatters I thought it was gonna be HUGE but it was 100x stake of £2.50. Still, can't complain! Also got 15 free spins for it and had a few lucky hands on blackjack including two perfect pairs on one 5 hand game :)

Thanks for everyone's advice. My payment was released by Villento (Casino Rewards) this morning and is on it's way to my account :)

It's worth noting that they work on Sydney time, so although I made my withdrawal request on a Wednesday afternoon UK time, this was outside of business hours in Sydney so the 48hr reversal period didn't officially begin until the Thursday. Likewise, the payment was marked as processed at 11am Sydney time, which was the early hours or the morning here.

Customer service has been superb throughout and I'll not hesitate to use CR services in the future. :)

CR support offices are based in Sydney. Been there once, but that goes back some 7 years now when my then VIP host Javert was still with them :)

Congrats on the win, I never doubted that you will get paid :)
