Hello
I recently received in the post (snail mail!) an offer from Casino Rewards for 50 free spins on Mega Moolah on 3 of their Casinos.
I picked Villento and downloaded the software. I made the minimum deposit of £20. The 50 free spins were then credited in the form of a £25 bonus used on 50 spins at £0.50 each. After 50 spins my balance was in the £80-90 range and so I continued playing but upped the stakes to £2.50 per spin. I got a 5-scatter result for £250 and a few free spins bonuses on top giving me a nice sum to withdraw (couple hundred pounds). I went to withdraw but saw I still had £46 in bonus balance to clear before withdrawals were available.
I opened a chat window and asked the operator about this. He said I had to wager 30 x the bonus amount of £46 before I could withdraw (£1380 total). I asked where the £46 had come from and he said that £25 was for the free spins and another £21 was for a 100% first deposit bonus (not sure where the extra pound is from). I wasn't aware this second bonus was being applied.
Anyway, he said I was only a few pounds away from clearing the first £10 of the bonus (it would go down in £10 increments). So I carried on playing, and carried on winning By the time I had cleared the bonus, I had around £600. I then played some blackjack and withdrew £800.
I have had an email saying this is processing (reversible for 48hrs, then 2-3 working days to reach account...).
All good so far!
However, I have now read several horror stories of CasinoRewards players having winnings confiscated due to a breach of a rule stating you cannot bet more than 25% of the bonus amount in one spin.
Whilst clearing the bonus, my bets were £0.50, then £2.50 and then £6.25 once my balance was in the hundreds. I made no bet greater than £6.25.
At first glance, this appears to be OK as 25% of £46 is £11.50 and all my bets were under that amount. However, if they treat the bonuses separately, it would be 25% of £25 and then 25% of £21. These are £6.25 and £5.25 respectively. So you could argue that some bets were £1 over the maximum allowed, depending on how they were allocated!
The agent on the chat window seemed to talk as though it was one bonus (e.g. "You have a bonus balance of £46 and must wager £1380 to clear it"). And as far as I can see, they were applied to the account simultaneously at my first deposit.
Am I worrying unnecessarily? Do you think I will get my winnings with no probs?
Many thanks for any advice/assurance!
