Resolved Videoslots: Won over €1000 then banned!

Maestro9, I would strongly suggest you exercise some patience here. I can only imagine how you feel, but we are coming into a weekend, and it seems like a large issue.

I also think that the PAB service here (Player Arbitration Terms) Player Arbitration Policies and Procedures would be a better path than MGA. MGA is not noted for being swift dealing with complaints. Hope you won't need it, but go read the link, and make sure you understand it.

Thank you for your advise! I will be more patient now since I know what is going on

Dear Maestro9,

Your account got blocked due to a bug in our system. Several users took advantage of a bug in our system which generated themself 200,000+ eur in battle tickets. Any winnings these players won with these tickets got confiscated. The bug that was explored was to have an active weekend booster multiplier and register and deregister from battles multiple time. Each time they did this they generated an extra battle ticket.
All accounts exploring this bug excessively have been blocked and winnings generated from it confiscated.
It might be that you have been caught up in this fraud by accident and we are reviewing all accounts that got blocked again to make sure this is not the case. Everything was done in a hurry from our side when we noticed the issue.

We ask you to wait until you file a PAB or compliant to MGA so we have the time to review this again.
You can expect an answer today or latest tomorrow.

Best regards,

Team Videoslots

I hope you spend as much time trying to find the bug that made my 200 spin reward disappear that's still not resolved after a week! :( even tho I showed you a screenie..... I have always loved VS but lately i'm losing a little confidence :(

I wondered why I kept seeing the same names in the level 5 sngs with 605 euro entry...
I bet they got greedy as always and generated tons of free tickets rather than just 1 or 2 which might have gone under the radar :p
I guess this explains why my massive £25 withdrawal is taking ages today lol

I suppose it's like the old story of the queue at the cash ATM when somebody realizes the hopper for the £10 notes has been filled with £20's.
So an orderly line forms to withdraw £10 a time, getting double.
Some stand back and shake their heads and don't get involved. The rest stand there, grinning stupidly as they 'double their money' with greed obscuring common sense that would tell them it will be audited, filmed and the relevant accounts debited the right amount later - before they get their account closed and booted as a customer.:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Update:

So after contacting Videoslots directly via mail, I received an reply last night. It contains no new information, which I have not already got via live chat:
--------------
Hope this email finds you well.

With regrets I am the person at Videoslots to inform you that a business decision has been made to permanently block your Videoslots.com account. Under no circumstances are we able to help you with a reactivation of your account in the future. Since all accounts are personal, you will not be able to register any new accounts either.

"1.3 A person registering at Videoslots accepts and acknowledges:
all definitions and stipulations in these Terms and Conditions"

"1.4 Videoslots reserves the right, at its own discretion, to:
decline a person to open a Videoslots account and/or to close an existing account decline to accept no deposits without any explanation, provided that any wagers and winnings already made will be honoured by the Company as long as these were not acquired by fraud or other illegal or illicit means;
suspend and/or cancel the person from promotional activities, competitions or other services, whenever"

We wish you all the best.
-------------
To me it looks like a standarized email which is sent to people which account they want to be closed without a reason.

I have done nothing wrong, so I do not accept this treatment. I thought Videoslots are a trustworthy casino, but apparently if you win a lot they kick you out.

Now I need your help from this forum! What legal ways are there to get justice?

Keep in mind that I still had my own money left on the account which did not pay me back.

Wow! May I suggest that you do a PAB. Once you start it, you can not discuss anything out in chat at all. If you have any questions, Maxx will be the one to help......Player Arbitration Policies and Procedures

Hey!

You can PAB:
Submit Your Online Casino Complaint - Casinomeister - be sure to read rules

Or you can contact MGA:
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

Hope this helps, but personally I have serious doubts you will get anything, since it seems VS have solid ground and proofs with such decision.

BR,

V.

Well from what i read you used a bug to get you entries into those tournaments so they banned you.

Anyway you now want justice. Fair enough but there is noone that can get your account reopened and nowhere to complain about that as they can close accounts if they want and sod all can be done about it.

As for money in your account. If it was legitimately yours then you should have had it returned. You can file a PAB here and Max will go through it with VS and if it is your money no doubt you will get it back.

Hi Maestro9,

We done our investigation on your account and the rest of them. Unfortunately, the support was not updated in time for your case. However, the conclusion we came to is that you are innocent in this case. The money you won, came from the bug that was generated by the people taking advantage of it, technical you wouldn't have won this money without them.
But, in this case, we have decided to honour your win due to all hassle you gone through.

Your account has been reopened and winnings reinstated.

Once again we apologise for this mess.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

Dear Team Videoslots,

thank you very much for being so communicative and trying your best to help. I can totally understand that problem you had with the bug and I am glad you figured all out.

My trust in Videoslots is restored

Furthermore I would like to thank the whole community of casinomeister! Without you it would have been a lot harder!

I am just super happy now since that money means a lot to me personally :)

Wonderful gesture VS, I can't fault you on how you resolved this and it's good to know decisions can be overturned in the right circumstances :)

@Team.Videoslots how does that affect the others in the battles?

Tricky one, although the winner did nothing wrong at all,the money in the pool was effectivily stolen
funds, VS did the right thing but could have voided it instead and just paid back the entry fee which was legit.
Dont know what they can do about all the 1 to 4 level battles in which the dodgy entries existed or how
it would have effected the honest players.Must have had some effect but would be a nightmare to sort out
