VideoSlots removed my winning cuz of some ddos attack

Before closing

Hi all - a little nervous posting my first CM contribution

As a regular player at Videoslots this DDoS incident still has me a little rattled.

I'd like to understand what actions Videoslots have taken to reduce the likelihood of this ever happening again.

I'd also feel more reassured knowing that a full review of current Security practices has been undertaken and that improved Security monitoring and prevention softwares will be put in place.

Would appreciate a response from Dan and have notified him of this post

Can't play at VS but here are my thoughts anyways...

No aiming to piss anyone off here, but someone who is in the IT field, and a programmer I can't understand how a game company can produce software with these types of vulnerabilities.

Without knowing the back-end architecture its hard for me to understand the underlying control mechanism that failed.

Ideally their infrastructure should have databases capable of performing transaction based queries, servers should contain protocols for data synchronization and consistency and the client/game should have some sort of validation mechanism for data sent to it.

I would be surprised to find out that this type of vulnerability exists with all game providers, maybe this provider should re-evaluate their infrastructure.

I am curious if other casinos who share this same provider experienced the same issue, or if it was the implementation of the protocol between the provider and the casino that caused the communication fault.

Its a bit baffling that he wasn´t even offered compensation, after all its only 18 players affected and its clear most of them (if not all) had no ill intent.

I think its only fair for the technical issues and basically a waste of time (playing with fun money).

Thats my 2 cents.

Hello BlaCGaming.

This has been resolved several days ago and I cannot comment further on it, but I believe that we reached a fair agreement between each other.

Best regards,
Daniel.

Yes we have reach a agreement, and i have been compensated Fairly enough, i had withdrawal some money before this was discovered and those didn't belong to me, and feel little ashamed over that, but they gave that to me as a goodwill gesture, and also they let me keep my weekend booster. So im satisfied with everything. It´s sad that this happend, but Videoslots has my trust again. They handed me document for my history and let me keep the money i had withdrawal before, and now letting me keep weekend booster i had earned. So i hope that my tread didnt scare away anyone.
Have good day and thanks once again to this forum and the member that were helping me and thank you to the support i received from Dan and Videoslots.com
Have good day to you all
