Same here. its an aweful choice - its basically that roman coin game but with xmas theme. Theres literally no point with it as you have to collect coins/frames before they turn wild - with upto 6 possible spins (as netent resets) its a pointless choice. Surely theres a more reasonable .10 xmas game that could go there @Mr Wild ?

I do try my hardest not to moan and appreciate these battle events, honestly I do.

However with these game choices it is very hard not to!

We try to select games that is available in as many countries as possible. For example we had to change tomorrows Tuesday Madness game as it wasn't available in UK.
Its getting harder and harder especially in Germany. We will see how to tackle the situation going forward. But for now we are focusing on games that is available for as many as possible, but it will be often its not available for everyone unfortunately.
But in the future we might need to localize the events, but with that the sizes of the prize pools will be smaller depending on country size within VS.

I always though geo restrictions were per provider and not per game.

However I do recall a post a few weeks back, again by Mr. Wild that this is not the case and some games from a certain provider are available here and there whereas others may not be.

This was evidenced during the battle weekend where Halloween Jack was not allowing redeeming of rewards correctly and we were offered an alternative of some Leander games but not the full range.

Never fully understood how these things work but have a basic idea, You would think with over 6K games available in the UK alone there would at least be a few more to choose from which all players regardless of location could access.

last xmas i did get 5 spins somewhere on the xmas big bass and managed a bonus and max win, so anythings possible. lol

it is what it is if there is no easy alternative of another .10 xmas game, but is still a poor choice. Wouldn't mind if it didn't reset your progress

No offence but i find it hard to believe that game selection is based on that - for starters, the current selection of awful game selection (aka RAW) is based on the current arrangement VS have them to promote them, nothing else. No matter how awful they are, well, there they are.

And there's not a better Netent selection than Wonders of Xmas?

Whilst i think it's changed recently, Canada was excluded for a huge section of the games, for example.

It comes down to the regulator. Under MGA, you need one license and you can use all games from a provider and as an operator. In Italy, you need to license/certify each game as a game provider and then after you as an operator also need to certify the game even though the game provider already certified it. This cost a lot of money so fewer games goes live in Italy.
Germany just have stupid rules and its very hard to get any game accepted under the regulation, it will get worse there as well. Currently all games available are under no license, but game providers are starting to go through certification and I heard many games don't pass all their rules.
