just tried to play a variety of netent games.

Not allowed in my country. tried on laptop, pc and mobile. they do not even show up anymore on the list. wow.

which means no more battle of the slots for us...well at least not with netent games.

there goes that.

No more netent games at videoslots for canadians.

Such bullshit if that is the case. Lose out on rewards, race and cashback. What else is there to play that you can win something decent on? I still can play some main games of mine but netent was a big chunk.

Feeling the same way. Feeling pretty disgruntled I did not get an email alerting me to the fact, that I logged into free spins I had from a tourney just a few hours earlier to find out this way. Then come to CM to get the lowdown after clearing cache and cookies. To be fair, support did credit me some spins on a Play N Go game to replace them.

But an awful lot of tourneys will no longer be available to play, and there are many games I was well into the achievements, working on 10K winning spins.

You cannot convince me they had only a few hours notice this was coming down the pipe.

Since Jasmine is closest to me I think, I wonder if I can get emotional support (aka hug? :p) as I am going to have the shakes with no more playing my favorite slots. I still offer doing chores for you.:p

oh this is not good at all. There isnt many places left that will let us play them. Please god dont take them away. Some of my fav slots are with netent. Dont do it to us. It will be a huge slap to the face being stuck with MG and some of these other shitty providers

I seen a few threads about you guys, games getting banned, Trouble with payments and the fee's, Worse than U.K , Its the greedy governments want there bit of the pie, Nothing else,

Our money so should not be told what I can or cannot do with it,

I was on there last night. I was just about to deposit but I thought I'd use up the little amount I had on DOA. Could not find it. Could not find Creature or any Netent games. Went to the battles and the list was half as long as normal. Thought I would wait until morning as surely Dan or someone would alert us to this. I assumed there would have been an email this morning but there is nothing.

Oh well. Glad I didn't deposit. All the reasons I have been playing there have just been taken away. Very disappointed in the way this was handled.

There not a bad site as we all know,

But the other day someone pointed out about update in terms, Dan came along and stated it was only to do with affiliate side, But again people started to notice other terms have changed, I cannot vouch for that as terms to me are pointless, Max bet, disallowed games is the only rules I need to no, Unless I click max bet by mistake than even the first rule does not apply to me, oh and no bonus with ewallets is another one I look out for,

If MG or netbent got took of the shelf's for U.K players I think there will be a world war 3 on the horizon,

As if we didn't have enough tin foil hats on than they just ban country's? Not only have they not stated this was going to happen but take all the affiliates, They can bring in big revenue or a casino yet not been informed? I am sure if they was than we would of been told,

Have netent actually banned the games due to not allowed or is it a temporary thing?

They have had several YEARS notice of this. NetEnt banned operators from offering their games to Canadians a couple of years ago, but the problem was that they couldn't enforce it, and most operators were not going to cut their throats by pulling a large chunk of their offerings and see Canadian players jump ship. A few refused because they had contracts with NetEnt that did not permit NetEnt to impose a Canadian ban, and NetEnt would just have to wait until these contracts came up for renewal. This is probably what has happened with Videoslots, and unfortunately those other places that are still serving NetEnt to Canadians will follow suit as their contracts come up for renewal, or when NetEnt finds a way to impose the ban from their servers (as Microgaming does when it bans countries).

Unfortunately, one big problem for NetEnt is the ease with which their games can be pirated, so the total removal of legitimate NetEnt games from the Canadian market opens the door to those operators prepared to run pirate versions to target Canadian players who cannot get NetEnt from any legitimate operator. They will probably use a licence from Curacao, who will turn a blind eye, and market to the ignorance of most players who will feel that the fault lies with the legitimate operators who don't value their Canadian customers sufficiently to treat them like everyone else and let them play NetEnt. As far as these players are concerned, it will be a new and fully licenced online casino offering NetEnt and bonuses to Canadian players, and treating them the same as players from elsewhere. They will have no idea that the games are pirated, and might also be rigged so as to rip them off.

I think Terry is right on when he states that it is the greedy Government trying to clamp down on offshore casinos. They have been slowly screwing us over on withdrawals and deposit methods. I think VS will suffer greatly from this so I am sure this is something they did not want to happen. I am sure this is permanent Terry. And yes, they are a great casino so it probably won't stop me from playing there but the days of trying to meet the WR for the freerolls is definitely over.

Think of It this way...your breakup with the sheriff Is now permanent.

No more doa for any of us.

When Net Entertainment games stopped working on mobile two weeks ago, I knew the end of access to them was near.

As we all know, Canadians were never allowed to play Net Ent in the first place so any casino that allowed play on them here was in violation.

I'm not upset as DoA was the only game from them I was playing regularly from them. What concerns me is that I could possibly see a scenario where I'll be forced to play at Microgaming casinos or PlayOLG.ca and that's a losing situation for everybody.

After this current VSO deposit, I will take the rest of the year off from online slots and chiefly play roulette/blackjack at Leo Vegas once in a while. Perhaps it's a good thing.

I wish I lived in the U.K. or Australia, where gambling is advertised and is freely accepted. Canadian provinces simply want too much control of everything from lotteries, to sports betting to casinos in order to screw us out of every penny. Ridiculous.

I know many here love Canada. I do, too. It's just a terrible place for gambling.

That's right. Somewhere in one of the VS threads I brought this up that Netent no longer loading on iPad or mobile. and here we are. No Netent games for us.

It would be nice to have received some sort of notice..from VS themselves. Even if it wouldn't make a difference. It makes a difference when you expect your casino whom you've spent money on and who have been nothing but fair and good and excellent in every way possible to have done this one thing for their Canadian customers as small as a contingent as we are.....we are still customers. Loyal ones at that. it would have been nice to have been given a heads up. To make it official. And final, I suppose.

And not one word on this thread either may I add. I for one am sorely disappointed in my 9.8 casinomeister rated casino. And will continue to be a customer.

Not so sure about depositing again Steviedoo. No respect from Videoslots. Should have at least communicated to us how this will affect freerolls, free spins etc etc. Extremely disappointed after having spent so much of my time and dollars here. I got notifications from Trada and Guts but nothing from these guys that I have been extremely loyal to. I have 2 words but I will not say them.

I get it ...I said I was going to be a customer....maybe not so loyal. I spent most of my gambling money at VS. And now I am completely lost as to where I am putting my money today. Maybe a good thing. Who knows.

I wish MG casinos would change their cashout ways. I refuse to play there on wed starting at 6 all the way to Sunday afternoon. Cashouts are on Monday and waiting for a cashout since wed and having it be reversible all thru weekend is a bit much. And only one I play at sometimes is Gowild cuz you can still flush your winnings there.

I deposited earlier and then found out there were no NetEnt games. However, there is still one place I can play NetEnt (starts with an 'R') ;)

Well there's also another casino where you can play Netent games that starts with an S.
Does your R casino have a rating here at casinomeister.

Do you think this is silly speaking in code....lol

I think eventually Netent will crack down on all casinos and we will be left with no where to play doa or creature.

The R casino has a very high rating at casinomeister! Not the highest but a close second. And yeah it's silly to speak in code, but you never know.

As I understood things, NetEnt decided to pull out of Canada. Not Canada deciding to stop NetEnt. Net Ent have physical slots in places like Vegas AFAIK, at least they were unveiling consoles a couple of years ago at a major show. And they are licenced by at least one online casino in New Jersey. I think they may hope to enter the online market and/or slot floors in Canada, and like WMS they won't be available to us except through the government.

Casinos provided them until they had to renew contracts, but it's not like the day of doom was unknown to VS. They could have given us advance warning for sure.

I joined VS less than a year ago, I'm level 62 and have a VIP host. I wish I did not need to contact him, but he has come through after a few weeks of bad play without me asking, or toss a little something my way when I do ask. I joined mainly because of the battles, and I make sure I get wagering that is higher as I must do it in euros but receive prizes in CAD. But there is barely anything to play anymore, and many of the few that remain are 10 cent spins. I did not have all the free time to play every freeroll, and during times of free coupons for them, often they were full if I did not make sure to register quickly. I also enjoyed some of the paid battles, and most of them that I liked best were NetEnt.

Part of what was value for money spent at VS is not from bonuses, but perks like the free spins.

And there are many of us that were actively working on rewards that we will never get to achieve. Since it's only winning spins, if you like quite a bit of variety as I do, I had no trophies completed, but some were getting pretty close. I'm reasonable sure I'm not close to even on any except maybe CFTBL.

I'm not planning on leaving, there are games I can't play elsewhere (at least not in my portfolio), but there are a lot I can play elsewhere with bonus offers and other loyalty programs. I enjoy the MG games so much more in the download clients.

When Guts withdrew NetEnt from Canada when their contract ended, we had some notice, and a promise to make it up to us otherwise. That's not strictly been true, there have been promos I've asked if they had a CAD substitute for, and the answer was no. This past Monday the game was Little Red Riding Hood, I didn't bother asking as I've been told no before, and I also did not deposit.

BTW, I asked for my DOA stats, and they may have did me a favour. They were not quite as dismal as I thought, about 85%, but thats over tens of thousands of spins, and I had one really good hit (no wildline, but about 4K on a very unusal $9 bet), which helped bring my losses to a more moderate level.

I was of a mindset to just dedicate myself to chasing my first wildline at 27 cents until I got one. I think they did me a favour.

I'm not prepared to blame our government for this, but I do think it's NetEnt's hope to enter our market by not offering online to Canadians.

I do realize VS did not a voice in this, or they would have withdrawn before now. But an mail would have been nice.

Jasmine

As always well said.

Like you, I enjoy the MG games on download. And have been more fortunate on MG than Netent.

What I will do this time around is not put all my eggs in one basket. I played almost exclusively at VS since the spring. Level 51.

At this point there is nothing we can do but wait till Netent comes to our lovely government run casinos.
It would be nice to hear from any VS Person to let us know what happens to all those trophies we've built up if anything. Not holding my breath though. the rep has read/seen the thread but hasn't said a word. Clearly there is nothing to say.

Im saddened cuz this was my casino..a topnotch casino...highly rated with good reason. And I guess when you're that good it's easy to fall from grace with one fine swoop. A letter, a notice. Anything.
Would have been cool.
