Videoslots loss limit issue

Hi guys,

I won't talk about my experience with videoslots regarding winning and losing. They sure got the hell of money from me like I believe from many of you. Still it's a pretty good casino when it comes to cashback, casino race and freerolls as ways to get some of your money back or even get a good run with not depositing any more money.

Anyway, not so long ago in order to decrease my losses and to set myself some boundaries while playing I have set a loss limit of €150 a week. So it basically prevents you from playing if you reach that amount in pure loss where u bet and don't win. Here is where it gets superabsurd. Even though I havent reached my loss limit I suddenly couldn't play freerolls and the error stated it inteferes with my loss limit. Since I lost like 40-50 € in last two days that was pretty strange so I look it up and it turns out that loss limit is affected by the tournament money too. I pleyed a few freerolls in these 2 days and now my loss limit is gone. I say ok that's how it is.
But one thing is absurd, as I said before. Why the hell don't battle money winnings (I mean that tournament winnings, not freespins play winnings) affect loss limit too? Once again customers come on the downside comparing to casinos.

I sure could say much about RTP on this casino and winning and stuff like that but I'll just call it bad luck. I registered on videoslots when I read all about it on this forum but as it turns out there are quite a few downsides nobody ever mentioned.

GG WP videoslots

What are Videoslots saying? What explanation do they give about this loss issue you have?

Support had nothing to say about this on chat so they forwarded the question to tech department. I'm waiting for reply.

Ok, the reason I asked was because before posting complaints here you are suppose to try and solve the issue with the casino, or with that casinos rep first, before posting.
Here is their rep https://www.casinomeister.com/forums/members/38654/
Please send him a message and give him some time to work this out. Then give us an update.

I've rarily seen a complain about loss limits. I'm more puzzled that it exist since deposit limits is the most common and what I thought everyone used who needed limits.

I hope you will get help to solve this:thumbsup:

Hey,

Sounds like you have uncovered a bit of a bug - but nothing more than this. I do not think there was any intention of Videoslots to have downside for the players. The reason I say this is that everything they do shows they care about the players, including implementing things like the ability to set Maximum bet etc. This is stuff no other casino has done for customers before and they deserve kudos for it. I am sure if you PM the Videoslots rep about this thread they will forward this issue to be fixed.

I also took note of your bad luck. I am sorry you had the bad luck but it really is not the fault of Videoslots. Moaning about it in this thread is a bit unfair. At least you do realise this yourself. One thing I can say is that at least if you win at Videoslots you know you are going to get the money, and you know you are going to get it quickly. You also know there is a responsive rep on here and you can choose from many many different games. They are up there with the best on the internet. Their games are fair - win some, lose some.

You're right. I don't wanna talk about bad luck. It seems that only luck I have is bad luck when it comes to videslots.

In Videoslots maybe % of winings are low then other sites, but they pay ultra fast, and you have the cashback and the casino race, for this i stay in videoslots..

The casinos have no control over how much the games pay as the games run on servers at netent / microgaming and so on.
Of course they dont have control, but you can control the % of winings, all slots game have % of winings 94-98 ; 93-97 : 94-96; etc.... and the same games in diferente different casinos runs 93% or 94% or 95%....

Ok, still there's no reply for this absurd situation. Furthermore, as we talked of luck it just seems I used my bit of luck with videoslots. As I removed my loss limit I could play now (I kept my deposit limit so I don't get too carried away) but anyhow I'm still on this neverending bad run. Every bonus I get on any game I play I can't win more than few euros. And I don't want to say what happens if I raise my bet. Any freespins I get from battles I couldn't score more then few cents. Every effin time I get something you could call a win it is as calculated to cover my deposit from that day so if I don't take it's bye bye one way ride to zero euros. This videoslots is the worst recommendation ever. And I believed you people on this forum. I played on more then couple of sites and although payouts are real quick here winnings are some weird story. Ah, and to get back to these famous casino race and cashback winnings. I won nothing with that too. Now you will say try different games, try this, try that, try some other time. Guys don't you be kidding me. I saw that guy on twitch that is sponsored to promote videoslots. He gets some crazy wins. But I haven't seen too much of that in last 6 months that I've been playing here. I read things like this quite a few times on forum. And then people get called to be bad losers. I hope that all of you who say that get some of our luck.

I had bad luck at various casinos including Video Slots but it's not the casino it's the player.

When I feel my luck is not on my side I take a break, go and see some friends, watch a movie etc :)

Last couple of Months were bad for me but June has turned things around. I won on DOA at Video Slots which is my favourite casino whether I win or lose ;)

I wish you all the luck and believe me there is no such thing as a lucky casino. Just have fun enjoy the games and then you never know, your luck might just turn around :)

Good for you, it's really nice to know someone got a good run going. I have a case of near big wins almost all the time. Last week I got like about 10 wilds on DOA in freespins but no wild on 1st reel. At the stake of 0.54 it would be a great win if i got that apache character, but no luck....

Now you start to sound like a sore loser.

Games are run from the servers at Microgaming/Netent/WMS etc., the casino is a mere middleman between player and those servers. Hence, blaming a casino for your bad luck is absolutely futile.

I lost 9K last year within the first 3 weeks after registering at Videoslots, never moaned about it as that is the risk of gambling. I ended the year with 19K in deposits and 17K in withdrawals, reducing my losses to just 2K. This year i am ahead by appr. 3K on some 15K in deposits. It is pure luck to win/lose at slots, nothing else, certainly not which casino you are playing at.

Conclusion: Don't gamble if you can't take the losses, simple.

If you actually believe all the stuff you accuse VS of I would recommend that you self exclude at every casino you have an account at, because you will eventually hit a bad streak at absolutely every Casino if you keep playing, so if you react like that to losses at one Casino imagine how you'll react when it happens at more than one... save yourself the mental anguish and self exclude.

Think I've never jokingly referred to deposits as donations and renamed autospin to autolose?
Think I've never played back wins of thousands in minutes when hitting a bad streak?
Think I've never gone 20+ consecutive deposits at various casinos without a penny withdrawn?
Think I've never fallen for the bonus trap that some Casinos have?

Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong again, however when it happens to me I don't fly off the handle and write essays on the internet about how all games are rigged.

Look at it another way:
When you win you expect the Casino to accept the outcome and pay up no questions asked, well that goes both ways, accept the losses and move on and don't accuse the Casinos of rigging stuff without a modicum of evidence.

Well said Naok

The max i had was last June/July - over 100 consecutive deposits without a withdrawal. August then turned it all around and i was posting in the Minion section nearly every day :D

Ok, my original post was about something that really is an issue and this other things I wrote were simply said because I see it that way and I was revolted that nobody at VS gave me a reply considering the thing I reported.

It' s nice for you to get out of your bad streaks but some of us don't have such an income that we can afford such long bad streaks. And I think casinos know that very well.

Now you'll say, if you can't afford don't play. Well what can I say. Nothing. Enjoy your winning streaks guys.

Btw. I didn't say anything was rigged I just said I can't win anything for some time now. Why is that so, I don't know.

Sorry Pyroska if my post sounded too harsh.

What i meant is that gambling logically involves losing streaks, it is the nature of the game. Nobody ever can be lucky all the time (unless maybe if you are Scandinavian :D ).

Please do not misunderstand me, nobody, including me, likes a long losing period. Last year i was getting pretty desperate to even get just some playtime but deposit after deposit would just vanish. It came to a point where i said that if i will be ahead by 50$ I will cash out just to break the long period without withdrawals. But even that seemed impossible to achieve and that with medium sized bets. It just looked all very grim.

However, i was sure that things will turn around eventually and that is what happened then in August. It all started with a deposit of just 50$ at Thrills which resulted in a 2K withdrawal, for over 2 weeks after that I had then so many withdrawals that i got my losses from June/July back and another 15K on top.

These things gamblers have to learn to take on the chin. If you realize it is getting too much then take a break for some time, mostly work wonders. :D

As for your OP i agree that is a bug. VS does not have many but they do have them just like any other casino. E.g.

- get 5 or 10FS from a free battle
- activate and play them, win a few cents and they are deactivated/disappear from your profile
- different story if all FS are losing spins: for some reason now the FS stay active in your profile, which means
  • you will not earn cashback, race points or trophies
  • you cannot enter another free battle

Raised it already with them but it is still the same today, probably no easy solution for the issue. Just have to remember always to void first the FS in my profile before carrying on

Hi Pyroska,

The reason why our responsible gaming works on our freerolls is that even that we stand for the risks during the freerolls is that the player can win free spins that can turn into real money that can lead to gambling problems. We think it is important to protect our players and follow the limits that our players choose to set them self under our responsible gaming section.

A bit strange to be honest Dan, after all the player is not risking any of his own funds but i understand the reason and have to congratulate you on this one. You just raised the bar for RG to a level no other casino has done so far.

I was pretty sure it is a bug though :D .... but now it all makes sense
