So I got an email from videoslots offering 100% up to £200. So i deposited the £200 yet cant seem to use the bonus. It is showing in my bonus window but not available to use? I blew the £200 I deposited on Gonzo's Quest. Are these bonuses only for certain games?

Any advice appreciated as apparently I still have £180 bonus just can't use it! Frustrating!

Videoslots Bonuses work like this:
You deposit 200 and get 200 in Bonus. However, you cannot play with that Bonus money but instead for every 10% wagered 10% of your Bonus gets converted into Cash directly. So in your case, you managed to Wager 10% and got given 20£/10% of the Bonus Money into your cash.
I think you can redeposit and continue on wagering and the Bonus money should still convert every 10%.

(This is for the welcome bonus but your deposit bonus should be the same or at least similar.)

I was being frivolous, betting higher than usual as I thought I'd have bonus funds. Bad move then. Might be moving from videoslots. Not impressed.

It's cool. My mistake. Never experienced this from any other site before. But my bad for not reading the T&C's properly. I did try to but funnily none of the links gave me the information. Lesson learnt! Thanks for your help. :D

VideoSlots is the casino I play most at, but I to remember being very confused at the bonus offer. I stopped playing at VS initially due to feeling sour about the bonus structure.

At some point they had some special offer on and I came back and have been playing since. They actually have tons of reasons to keep playing with regular rewards and freerolls.

But yeah, I wish they would sort out their welcome over. I think it puts people off and is just not what people are expecting. First impressions count!

One way looking at it is, that is "free money". You will eventually get it credited. If you were going to make more deposits elsewhere without a bonus, then you may as well deposit it at VS as the bonus money will be slowly released, it resulting in more play time. You can also cancel the bonus at any time if you were to hit big and wanted to make a withdrawal.

I found it misleading. I read it as depositing £200 gave you £200 extra to play with. Obviously not the case. Slightly disappointing.

Ain’t going to change anything. £180 in bonus and I don’t intend to deposit to get a bonus in dribs and drabs. As I said lesson learnt.

I tried the link to the terms which didn’t work. Look it is what it is. Lesson learnt. I asked for advice not cynical opinions.

it is not a cynical opinion, it is advice.

When you take up a bonus, READ the RULES BEFORE you deposit!!! Simples!

Can I forward you the email I received? See if you can open up the T&C’s? Because I tried to.

Whilst that is an error on VS's site, they clearly display the bonus rules on their site. Not reading them because a link in the email did not work is not an excuse. In contrary, those are the cases where I make sure to read them.

Yep Harry you are correct! My mistake for not reading t&c’s properly. Shit conditions anyway but hey ho! Onwards and upwards somewhere else.

I have to agree though, its a very bad bonus system they have sadly. :(

It is widely agreed that the VS bonus system is not very likeable, I never doubted that.

But if you take a bonus, it is YOUR responsibility to read the rules and make then a decision on whether to take the bonus, especially when you are not accustomed to the system yet. The OP must have had the welcome bonus, so he should have known how a VS bonus works.

I have no symphaty for people not reading the rules and then going into an online forum to smear a reputable casino.
