Hi all,

We will the 24th of November host Videoslots Awards: Game Providers – 2017. We will have 10 categories that our game providers can win and the time period we will judge them on is October 2016 – October 2017.

• A member can only nominate one game whit a reason why the game gets nominated.
• Member can choose to do the nomination in this thread or via private message to dan_videoslots.
• Nominations are open between 17th of October – 31st of October.
• The winner will be the game with the most nominations and will be presented at the awards 24th of November.

Netent's Warlords:Crystals of Power (released Nov 2016) has got to have been the best new game of the past year for me. It appears to me that Netent put a lot of love into producing the slot into a game that keeps you hooked and enjoying the graphics and sound as much as the potential big wins. Near one year on and I still don't mind losing a few quid on it

Tough call for me between Play and Go's Moon Princess and Viking Runecraft, I have played Viking Runecraft a lot (2150 levels so far) as the lower volatility helps make a deposit go further.

But I think i would go with Moon Princess even though I'm usually too terrified to play it, a new innovative take on the "grid" slot with interesting new features and excellent graphics and sound.

Moon Princess for me.

I think there will be lots of people who say bonanza even though it will pain some people. I cant agree with that. I think the game is misleading and I think making a bonus round to trigger once every 500 spins on average which leaves some players waiting 2000-4000 spins and then paying 2 or 3x to be ridiculous. I find the strange set up when hitting more spins.. the results are usually worse. They make outrageous music for the slot and dont give you an option to turn it off in the base game and back on in the bonus round. If they didnt do this crap with the bonus round and making you wait thousands of spins for a 2x than yeah I would vote for it. But they didnt so no go!

I cant recall really many good games coming out. I was excited about jurassic world but that probably wins the award for most disappointing game of the year if not in history :eek2:

I think if yggdrasil made a better paytable they could win because their graphics and ideas are wonderful.

I think my pick will be flamebusters. Quite a different idea that reminds me of the old nintendo days. The bonus round is fun and the potential is huge. Even though this slot pisses me off more so than not :D

My opinion could be different if I could play netent, novos or WMS. Who knows.

It has to be Danger High Voltage! The potential of it is nuts! Was in love when I saw video of someone hit £6,660 on 40p! Is there even a better slot than that?!

I have to vote for Bonanza. I play for entertainment and that game certainly keep me entertained.

It has it all. Possibility for high wins. It's sometimes play like a low variance game and other times a high variance.

It doesn't ruin me if I don't want to, and since the bonusgame mostly is paying good I understand why it doesn't come so often.
High wins possible even in the base game.

The music is special. I should get tired of it but so far I haven't so I guess it's good enough. The background is a bit boring but also acceptable.
Big thumbs up from me

I could easily vote for the previous usual suspects by Big Time Gaming, but I'm going to go for Netent's Jungle Spirit. It has a really sharp clean look, good sound and art work is easy on the eye.
Potential in the bonus round is huge and the customisable win ratio is an innovative tweak.

I'm going (after much thought, could name a few here lol..) for Danger High Voltage.

Yes it can have lengthy dead spells BUT also a low roller's dream where big wins and decent play time are available from time to time for my lowly 0.20p - 0.40p bets

I like their "Wild Ladder" idea (geez I could work wonders for new games with this :p) and also the extra wild has great potential from the other 'pick' during the FS bonus round.

For it's originality it has to be Flame Busters.

It's unique for me in terms of a slot game that is completely individual / one-off.

I was a big fan of console gaming on the Sega Master System and it feels like a trip down memory lane :)

For my part i vote for Danger High Voltage. THe music is awesome, the feature can pay loads and even the base game can hit huge... I really love Big time gaming for their potential even if the graphic aren't as good as some Yggdrasil... I would have had a diferent choice if the slot didn't had to have came out in the current last year... I think that everyone that know me will say I would vote for Playboy even if i can't play it anymore hehehe..

Bonanza, it is always my go to game.
Its got great potential in the bonus and the base games wins can be massive too.
Also you can have a great session even if you only have a few pounds, sometimes it just keeps going and going.

I can understand that Bonanza is so popular but I shy away from it due to the endless horror stories posted about the slot. Like most new slots these days I sit back and wait for other peoples experiences with it before I give it a proper bash and I think that doing so has saved me a fortune.
I guess that for some the higher rewards are worth the punt rather than playing the slightly "safer" games that I opt for?

I was able to narrow it down to my top 6 (including DHV, Bonanza, moon princess, monopoly; bring the house down and Jungle spirit)

But, purely based on how much I've played it (having reached high levels, well high for me, on both platforms) my nomination has to be for

Viking Runecraft!

It's Bonanza for all the above reasons. To me it's a huge magnet, unfortunately also when it's in a bad mood. 2nd is Flame Busters (since my recent 1,700x win on a $0.10 bet).

I have to grit my teeth and vote for Bonanza because it is the slot I most play now.
Its original (even though cascading reels has been done many times) and the most cleverest slot ever produced.
The potential is there, although you never see it haha.
The base game can keep you going.

I would have voted for Danger High Voltage, but if its not bonusing then you are most likely doomed in no time, where if Bonanza is not bonusing (which is most of the time) the base game can keep you playing.

Other providers have been disapointing this past year, yes you MG.
I do like Jungle Spirit and Butterfly Stax, but only for the occasional play.

Bonanza for me too.
Easily the best programmed game this year (well apart from the annoying pause that Videoslots don't seem to be doing anything about), it doesn't usually eat your money in minutes like other slots can, bonuses can pay extremely well, and everything works seamlessly, even down to the music. The only critical comments I can think of for it is, you should be able to turn the music off/down and be able to click to stop the win counter going up. Everything else to me is pretty much perfect. Completely different to anything we have seen before, rather than the likes of MG and Netent who seem to just reskin every game they have.

Danger High Voltage without a doubt. It's such an amazing game. Microgaming and Co. need to take a step back and stop using awful game engines, I still think there is room for a Play Boy, Immortal Romance type slot. WMS have really lost their way too in my opinion.

Rob :)

Tough call for me but the best games by a country mile have come from BTG in my opinion. I nominate Danger High Voltage for game of the year and BTG for provider since they are coming up with pretty innovative slots:thumbsup:

I was going to go with Bonanza so I'd make that my number 2 slot. Only reason why I picked DHV was the choice between features and most of the time the bonus is a tad easier to come by.
