Hi all.

For a long time I have used Revolut without issue.
Now after 10 days of fighting (sending money to bankacc that I never used befor etc) with videoslots... They tell me I can’t withdraw to Revolut since they don’t accept it?

I have no other bank account. What would you advice?

And Now you sent it to a card that doesn’t take refunds. Does this mean you make me wait till next week again before it reverts?

Never had any issues for using Revolut in any casinos. Are you using Visa or Master to your transactions? At least my virtual Master have been working with no problems (if nothing have happened within week or something).

Hi.

Yes my card doesn’t take refunds. I always withdraw to the U.K. bank account without any issues and have requested this.

Videoslots has sent it to a card when I have told them it doesn’t work. Making me wait for another week before it bounces back. They say I didn’t reply to their email with my bankdetails, but I did.

Note that I requested withdrawal on June 3rd and they are not helping at all.

And to make it worse.. I asked Revolut (where I receive my paycheck, pay my rent with, my bills, my groceries cos, everything) if they could check it. And they pointed me to a statement that I am not allowed to use the account only for gambling.

I showed I don’t use it only for that, but for all my expenses. They then point me to the following:

According to our Terms and conditions:

19.1. It is not permitted to:

A. use the Revolut Services for any illegal purposes, including, but not limited to

fraud and money laundering, unlawful sexually oriented materials or services,

counterfeit products, unlawful gambling activities, fraud, money laundering, the

funding of terrorist organizations, the unlawful purchase or sale of tobacco, firearms,

prescription drugs, other controlled substances or other products prohibited by law.

Revolut will report any suspicious activity and cooperate with any relevant law

enforcement agency or regulator;

When I ask since when is this online casino unlawful...

Hi again @misstrouble,

We do not have a policy against paying out funds to a Revolut account, however, in your case we, unfortunately, had some technical problems with the first withdrawal. The funds have now been sent and you will have them within 2 days.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots

Unlawful, would mean - play at a curacao casino for example?

Imo the acceptance rate on the side of Revolut is just horrible! Any withdrawal above 50 quid is denied/rejected. Really frustrating. So we need to go back to customer: withdrawal got rejected, please use the revolut associated iban.

This is not only frustrating for the customer/player, also for us, as it takes a lot of extra work.

When using revolut, please always withdrawal by bank transfer and if the casino requires you to use the credit card channel, just tell them the transfer will be rejected and will result in a lot of extra work + costs for the casino. Add your full KYC in the meantime, so they cant argue that :)

I have asked videoslots from day one to withdraw to my bank account and not to card/iban as those two always get reverted. First they send it to the iban without asking me. It takes 10 days to hear it’s reverted. I then ask to send it to the bank account number. They claim they can’t use that, een though they did it before, and send it to the card.
Which means I have to wait another 7 days for it to revert and start over again.

Videoslots is not in anyway taking responsibility for the case. They even said I was gambling irresponsibly because I got mad that I don’t have the money they owe me while I counted on it. And they won’t open my account because of the above - say it’s not responsible gaming.

I can’t believe how rude this is. If you send it to a wrong withdrawal method twice, it’s your fault.

In all fairness, we all need to get more familiar with Revolut, Bunq, Knab or any other new rising star of the internet banks.

Videoslots is fully licensed, accredited and they will never on purpose delay your withdrawals. Or on purpose not listen to your feedback. First they want to run/execute regular processes. Like we do, only to figur out it works like shit and to provide customers an alternative.

Trust me, you are not the only one who is waiting :)

Ofcourse I understand that. But the fact that they ignore the feedback I give, then call me names and accuse me of things, refuse to reopen my account, send it to a incorrect withdrawal method again and don't even own up to it or offer any kind of compensation for the fact that they are messing up big time, makes it worse.
To add to it, when I first requested the withdrawal they said it would take 24 hours to reach my account. Then they said"maybe tomorrow". THen they went to " if it is not in on friday, we'll investigate". On friday they told me to wait till monday. On monday they told me to wait till tuesday. On tuesday the rest of the fiasco started.

Personally, I use Revolut for all my casino accounts. I haven't had an issue with it before, but most likely that is because I am in Ireland.
From what I understand, the restriction for Revolut and Gambling is only being enforced within the U.K.
Would guess as well that UK is making some difference here, my latest withdrawal to my Revolut MC was received today. Not sure if there are difference between Revolut membership tier used. I understood that some basic tier users only get Visa card where withdrawals might not be possible to process, but not sure about that, just guessing what could cause issues. Have never had any issues with withdrawals to Revolut and been using it at least much over year.

I have a metal card with revolut...
I never had issues before either and never had an issue with another casino either. Also find it super strange that they claim that gambling is strictly prohibited, while revoluts terms and conditions dont say that.

Hello misstrouble,

First off, I'd like to apologise if you've felt like we have treated you wrong, this has never been our intention and we would never try to delay a withdrawal on purpose. That creates a bad experience for you as the player as well as a bad experience for us and leaves no one happy. I’m not sure what this name calling is referring to, but we will review these contacts to make sure no-one has acted inappropriately.

As for now, we will have to wait for the latest withdrawal attempt to be completed as per our last contact and take it from there.

Best regards,
Team Videoslots.

I just had a better conversation with Revolut. They indeed state that gamblin is not allowed and told me that they will be more strict on that rule the coming time. Just a warning for everyone. And for casinos.
