I would like to put my video up of the incident but seems I can’t? I didn’t actually click max bet, the scroll mechanism went too max bet when playing on a mobile. Don’t see whether being a regular on here really matters, find that a bit rude when I am also trying to warn other players not too do the same.
It clearly matters in the context to what I was replying. Seeing as you have started a PAB I imagine @maxd finds it a bit rude that you have ignored the rules on posting while it's ongoing, but like me, I suspect that not how you meant it.

If you want to put the video up, you need to upload to youtube or somewhere then you can click the media button at the top of the reply box, then put the link in and that should embed the video into the thread.

My comment about the max bet button wasn't aimed at you, it was to point out that casinos would be flooded with complaints if it came out they would refund massive bets if they were done by 'mistake'.

Simple fact is though, if you had won a large amount, you wouldn't have went on live chat and complained, you would have went to banking and clicked withdraw, and Videoslots would have paid you. Unfortunately you lost but I genuinely don't see what you can make a PAB about :( I completely agree with you about it shouldn't scroll up like it does, just like there shouldn't be a max bet button on slots, or if there is, not right next to the start button like some do.

Hang on a minute. I did not want to chime in here, but I just remember not long ago someone had a similar mistake max bet spin at one of the L&L group casinos. If I am not mistaken, they replied in that thread and actually did refund it. Which again is very very rare? 99% of casinos never refund accidental max bet spins. But L&L decided in this instance to refund it.....?

Correct me if I was wrong or not? it was a while ago, so it might not be accurate in how I worded how it played out.
yeah that was me. I was doing a minimum bet bonus hunt and on one of the games it set itself to a £100 spin. thats a huge difference from doing 10 pence spins. it was the manager or supervisor the guy above live chat that sorted it out within 5 minutes, he accepted that the bet was wrong and refunded the bet. This was without @L&L-Jan although he was happy with the result.

I did it at 21Casino last year, accidentally bet £125 on a single spin instead of 25p.

They refunded me although I fully accepted it was my mistake and didn't 'expect' a refund.

Same shitty slot design, pressing the 'decrease bet' button one too many times cycled it straight round from 25p to £125!

I'm of the opinion that all slots should open at min bet by default. Is there any good reason why they shouldn't?

The loss of a max bet spin to a low roller is a lot more detrimental than a high roller having to spend a couple of seconds increasing the bet.

Onto this scenario however, I can't see that VS has done anything wrong, if anything it would fall on the provider interface side of things. Looks like user error to me and VS even have max bet protection for you to utilise.

In 10 years think I've only ever had one instance where I set the bet wrong (much higher than I wanted) but luckily bonus landed first spin

Could've easily told you that VS don't do refunds, ever. I've also did a max bet there once. I contacted them via CM, but no joy. They don't refund accidental bets. Sucks at the moment, but it is understandable, especially considering most casinos do not have a site feature where you can set your max bet. VS has it, so there's no reason not to set it if you never play at such bets anyways.

It's also not the fault of the casino if a game is poorly designed. And I say poorly but I'm almost certain some of these design choices are intentional. There's no reason to have MAX BET next to spin button, but a lot of providers do it anyways.

Some slots just want you to set it up wrong... I was playing a 9 line book game from Tom Horn Gaming and set the bet at 20c, turned out that was the linebet so I was "happily" spinning at 1.80 and didn't notice until most of my balance was gone
