Just a warning to users of videoslots casino, personally I would avoid. When playing on a mobile phone you can accidentally scroll from min bet to max bet on a ygg slot, a feature that shouldn’t really be able to happen in this day and age. I asked them to review the irregular bet, found their responses a bit disgusting, be careful guys

Not sure what's wrong with their reply? Let alone disgusting. They have the max bet limits you can set, something most casinos don't, and the games tend to be exactly the same set up wherever you play

Aye. The reply is apologetic, but ultimately - you paid for and got the service.

I agree that the looping around of the bet sizes is unfair and unethical - just as much as having "Max Bet" next to the spin button is, which some providers still do.

Have you got a lot of history with the casino? If it's an out-of-character spin, they might be amenable to reviewing again.

The other question is always - would you give them the money back if the £125.00 spin had won? ;)

It’s interesting, would they pay me out if it was £50k or call it irregular bet?

I'm 99% certain that they would pay you. They're very reputable, and unless they could find a good reason (1%) for not paying you, you wouldn't have a problem.

Yeah it’s this reason I hoped they would be a little lenient, I asked for several reviews, the responses weren’t in line with questions I had asked which is where my frustrations bore from. For example they said they would talk to the provider on how the scroll was done as the provider could see this element(ie I scrolled up), the response after was that the £125 was made, I kinda realised this when I lost £125, it wasn’t the question they were meant to go to the provider with. To be honest I asked for goodwill and got none, the main reason for the post is so others don’t do the same. Re bet limits, there is no difference between a bet limit on a slot on roulette, otherwise I’d happily set the slot limit too £3

Hi @rowsaboat,

It's an unfortunate incident, and I understand your frustration. I can confirm that we cannot refund bets based on it being accidental, as a general rule. We would always pay out a win from an accepted bet. If you contact us at [email protected], I am happy to take a look at this personally, though, from your explanation, I believe that the outcome will be the same.

I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,
Team Videoslots

They would have paid you, and therein lies the problem. If they refunded everyone who claimed to have made a mistake with the betsize they would end up getting so much abuse they would quickly change the rule.

@Team.Videoslots it’s ok, I didn’t ask for a full refund, I asked for a bit of goodwill, gave numerous examples of something that would make me happy, ie betvictor max bet on same slot is only £50(possibly £62.50 with the 25% golden bet) , I can accept my mistake just the severity of a 25p bet versus £125 is harsh. Just tell me you don’t give out goodwill from the start when you go to customer services, you haven’t actually answered that question at any point during discussions. I’ve closed my account now unfortunately

We’ll never know Col . Completely agree with what your saying though re refund, however doesn’t mean too say they dont accommodate clear errors, dan’s point on the looping being unethical is the point

Hi rowsaboat,

Now I haven't been involved in your case personally, so I cannot say if this could have been handled better by our support. Though, as you have closed your account, there is nothing more I can do in this case. Again, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

If you want anything clarified, you are welcomed to drop us a PM or send us an email at [email protected] at any time.

Have a nice day ahead.

Kind regards,
Team Videoslots

Hang on a minute. I did not want to chime in here, but I just remember not long ago someone had a similar mistake max bet spin at one of the L&L group casinos. If I am not mistaken, they replied in that thread and actually did refund it. Which again is very very rare? 99% of casinos never refund accidental max bet spins. But L&L decided in this instance to refund it.....?

Correct me if I was wrong or not? it was a while ago, so it might not be accurate in how I worded how it played out.

He did, but it doesn't really have any relevance to this problem with it being a different casino. Plus the player there is regular on here and no disrespect to the OP here, he isn't, and therefore the reps don't know him. Jan is also the best rep on here :)
Thats not to say I don't have any sympathy for the OP, but as was pointed out, if he had won say £10k from it, Videoslots would have paid him without question, and if it got round you could do £100 bets at Videoslots and they will refund you, then it's a no lose situation for the player, and they would have hundreds of players complaining they 'accidently' hit the max bet button and can they get a refund :(

Yep I get that. I too have done it a couple of times in the past myself. Once at Leovegas and once at Sky Vegas...... Both times they refused to reimburse me........ lol

Leovegas did credit me 10 spins though on I think secret of the stones as a sorry.

It does hurt but Net Ent are the worse for it. At least the newer ones I think have moved the max bet buttons away from the spin buttons I think mostly? But a lot of providers have now actually completely removed the max bet buttons. Which I never understood why they even existed anyway. If a player wants to bet max, then just manual raise the stake. At least that way. No accidents can happen....

Providers in the wild west days of online slots got away with it and placed those max bet buttons right next to the spin buttons ON PURPOSE. disgraceful. But it was what it was. Luckily it has got better and a lot less people suffer this issue anymore thankfully :)

I would like to put my video up of the incident but seems I can’t? I didn’t actually click max bet, the scroll mechanism went too max bet when playing on a mobile. Don’t see whether being a regular on here really matters, find that a bit rude when I am also trying to warn other players not too do the same.
