videopokerclassic.com holding back money!

    I seriously disadvice you to play at videopokerclassic.com.

    Because nobody wants to read a two-page story, I'll keep it short.

    -Terms&conditions where missing a paragraph concerning bonus requirements.
    I did not know therefore that videopoker was not counting for the wagering reqs.
    -Deposited 400, got 400 bonus, but did not receive the promised neteller bonus.
    -Casino agrees T&C are wrong but wont let me play videopoker with regards to the WR.
    -Casino updates T&C and sends me the url for the next 5 complaint mails i sent.
    -After a long hassle, casino agrees to just refund my money
    -Casino locks my account (so i cannot chat anymore with helpdesk) and does not pay me out
    -After mailing a few times, representative sais the Finance dept is in holidays for 2 weeks.
    -3 weeks later: still didn't receive anything
    -Further mails to representative and to sales dept stay unanswered

    Conclusion: I'll never see that 400 again, because their T&C where incomplete.. :eek:

    I'm still hoping for the refund, but never go to this casino!!!

    I had same problem in the past.
    I had deposited some of g-fed casinos,had bonus,played.
    And I downloaded videopokerclassic software,deposited it and my bonus came ''automaticly''(software asked 'do you want bonus' ,I clicked 'yes')
    I played with it and win and cashouted.But 3 days later an email came and said my accounts locked,because of using more than one bonus in g-fed casinos.
    They didnt pay me,neither my winnigs nor my deposit.

    I'm also curious as to the "missing paragraph" ...

    My records indicate that all G-Fed casinos as far back as June 2005 didn't allow blackjack or video poker to count towards their bonus' wagering requirement. I haven't checked ALL of them, I admit, but I at least checked Video Poker Classic.

    Most of the G-Fed casinos make it pretty easy (relatively speaking) to find the T&C ... a couple of clicks on the Video Poker Classic site and you get this (which, again, was there as early as June 2005):

    I have played at many casinos in the past, and I used to believe that GamblingFederadtion casinos were alright. I saw their huge bonus and wanted to take advantage of that. In fact, I think that is the purpose of these bonuses.
    Is my motivation factor relevant to this issue?

    I think of these T&C as a contract between a player and a casino. I think they should even had let me play any game i wanted.

    In my short story, I've left some details out. In fact, the bonus paragraph was only missing in my language. Of course, I didn't know that, who reads T&C in another language eh.

    The worst thing was, they defended themselves with this paragraph:
    "In the case of any discrepancy between the meanings or wordings of any translated versions of this Agreement, the meaning and wording of the English Language version shall prevail"

    As you can read yourself, this is about a difference in meaning of words, not aboutcovering all left and forgotten rules (that would be too easy)

    Does anybody know what more I can do (which authority to contact) to resolve this issue?

    To the poster: have you any idea how much shit Gambling Federation are responsible for?

    1) The software probably cheats. That's my personal beef - five standard deviations is a pretty skewy result.

    2) They hacked into their customer computers - a HUGE debacle a few months ago, after which the IGC and iGGBA kicked them out, and the GPWA accepted their resignation (sadly, leaving the door open for future readmittance).

    3) They tried to steal $9000 of legitimate winnings from one player earlier this year, until their affiliate, Cindy Carley, saw the light and pressured them into paying.

    4) They stole about $8000 in winnings from another player, who played in adherance to the terms & conditions, but who was considered to have "abused the spirit of the promotion", lololololololol.

    If you patronise Gambling Federation, well...sorry, you deserve everything you get. It's not like any of the above is exactly a well-hidden secret. The informaton about these crooks is out there.

    I said they didnt pay my winnings.
    But I think g-fed casinos have best software that you can win easily.
    But of course it is not important winning,if they didnt pay.
    I prefer win 200$ and been paid than win 2300$ and not been paid.

    Oh well.

    They are trying to cheat you like they have cheated countless others who had the temerity not to appear like someone who was going to regularly lose lots of money to them.

    This might not be the best place to get help. You might want to check out gpwa.net instead, slycin56, whose site is You must register/login in order to see the link. might be able to help.

    It doesn't surprise me. Any competently managed casino that makes the pretense of offering multilanguages had damn well better make sure that they post accurate information on their site. Otherwise it might be like me signing up at 888.com, them posting something in Japanese saying 'you cannot cashout here, all your money belongs to us', and then using that to avoid paying me.

    It further doesn't surprise me that despite pointing this out, they are attempting to screw you rather than showing decent customer service and paying you because *they* screwed up (and it's not that difficult or expensive to do). And it still surprises me less that despite having screwed up, their website is still half-assed and is ready for them to rip off someone else in the future - I don't speak Danish, but I can make a guess at parsing this.

    You don't need to be a Dane to work out that means 'Bets placed on roulette, baccarat or sic bo do not cunt towards the wager requirememnt. $1 wagered on blackjack or pai gow counts $0.50 towards the wager requirement'

    So they are telling Danes, champion Bonus lovers, that they can play blackjack and video poker, whereas in fact that's not the case.

    So just to review: they didn't update their terms, while attempting to gain foreign custom with their website translated into various languages. They screwed up, and attempted to cheat the player, even though it was there fault the terms weren't up-to-date. And now, even though the most basic fool could realise that if they know that one translation isn't up-to-date, they should probably check the others as well - the Danish translation (and quite possibly others) still has the wrong terms.

    So poor practices, ripping off players, lots of fun!

    Another case of bonusing attracting more attention than prior playing research, I'm afraid. And this research would have been easy - the GFED name is all over the internet in a negative sense.

    The principle is the same as Joyland - casino screw-up being taken out on the player.

    little update:
    I signed up again to be able to use the live chat, because my emails were not being responded. The representative now gives as argument that the salesmanager is in the hospital, and that's why I cannot get paid out.

    I hope this is not really the way reputable casino's work. Nobody can get his money back while the man is out? I suggest they'd stop accenpting deposits then too.

    Anyway, I wanted to speak with someone in person, so I called the only number available: the US helpdesk. At first, they couldn't find my account because it was not an english account. Finally she agreed to contact my local rep. When she was back, she came up with the same story of the manager with the accident. I'd would have to wait untill he is better :eek2:
    (Also when it lastst for 6 months, she assured me)

    I asked her if there were no global managers who could take care of the outstanding payments then. Suddenly she seemed to already know the situation, when she told me that it was very busy with one manager missing.

    When i began questioning their methodology, after a while she said the other managers where emailed and that they'll arrange it in a few days.

    In the future, i'll be checking the rogue list here first :)
