Yesterday I was dealt a pat royal flush with 3 deuces playing single line deuces wild. I kept the hand for a wild royal payout. Was this the correct play?....or should I have broken it up and gone for 4 deuces?

Yes, it is correct to hold the wild royal, at least for full pay DW.

Indeed. There is only a 4.255% change of getting the 4th Deuce so if the win you got dealt was more than 4.255% of the value of the 4 deuces win (which in this case it more than likely is - 10% on Crypto, nearer 15% on Micro), GM is spot on.
