Does anyone have any experience (good or bad) with Vic's bingo? I was reading some information posted at another site that advises one not to play at any bingo site that allows you to change your name. They said, "As long as any site allows name changes, they will be suspect for cheating."

I just talked to "Live Chat" at Vic's and they allow you to change your name once per month. Any thoughts on Vic's or any bingo sites which allow name changes?

Vic's Bingo is ok and the players I have sent never had a problem with them.
And one or two of them had to change the user name at one point for a reason. And they are not house players. And in that case why would they join by me in the first place.:confused:and I say this word cheating comes up and everyone thinks that they are House Players if they change a name.
I say in reason you should have to change a name.No Big Deal.
If it's a house player so called all they have to do is make many accts with other names. So what's the Big Deal in changing a name in the first place.
You don't need a new name to cheat do you?
I would love to see Proof of someone that is cheating that has many names.

I agree with you about the changing names thing. If they're house players they could do whatever they wanted, such as creating a new account or just going into the database and changing the screen name of their existing account.

My concern is that they are owned by Winward, who is notorious for their strict once-a-week payouts and lots of slow-pay/no-pay problems, at least on their casino side. Bingo could be different but it's not a chance I would take or could easily recommend to others.

I made a Welcome thread for you.

and I never heard of them.
You have many that pop up every week.

Thanks BingoT and SlotsWizard for your feedback on Vic's and on sites that let you change your names.

It makes perfect sense that if sites have house players that they could just go into the database and change the name(s) daily vs. sites that allow name changing to automatically be suspect for cheating. I've seen players that change their names for many reasons, including their name being very similar to another player and not wanting to cause confusion, etc.

Every single bingo site I've played at has repeat winners at them. If I were to exclude myself from sites for that reason believing they were house players, there wouldn't be any sites left to play at. I'm not saying there aren't house players, but if they exist at one, I believe they exist at all!

Hey Sassy1 you never know where ever you go online playing any type of game you may pick it can be fixed.
We will never know.
It's like it I play bingo with one card and the next person buys 100 cards and that person with the 100 cards wins all the time.
Oh that's right the person that has that many cards are house players

LOL!

You are very right BingoT. I did have a shocker yesterday though. I was on auto at a site playing 1 card and won. I couldn't believe it. In three years, that is the first time I've ever won on 1 card. I usually play more, but since I wasn't able to watch the games closely, I only did 1.

I know what you mean Sassy. I was playing at Cashmill, did a withdrawal and left about $10 in my account. Played and played but finally ended up with 2 cents. So I played 2 penny cards and split the prize! Gave me more to play and I ended up with another withdrawal from it too.

Forgot to add, I did not like Vics or Bingohall. The time they take to resolve a problem makes it not worthwhile. I always suspend play at a site when a problem arises as this usually makes it easier for the site to locate it. If you continue play they have to go through logs for whatever amount of games you play after the problem to get to it. Sites also usually don't deal with problems as fast if you continue play. Not so the case with Vics, I finally just walked away and cut the loss. SlotsWizard is right, avoid anything Winward is touching.
