VERY nice surprise from Guts!

Slots use covert hypnosis and persuasion techniques to keep you spinning also . Visual and audio . Have you ever been spinning away and then thought "shit how did my balance get that low " ? That's because you have been induced into a trance whilst on a long run of losing spins . You will notice that during that time the music will have gone low and repetitive , just as one example , to not break you out of your spinning "routine" . When you get a win the music will get louder and more energetic to draw your attention to that win and make you think "hey its ok look Im winning" , before dying down again as the dead spins return :p
I'm not blaming the slot providers entirely but mix their psychological tricks with a gambler's mentality and that's what you get
Show me one game where your balance (the most important thing ?) is displayed prominently in big clear numbers  No , they hide that away somewhere in the corner but when you win any amount there's usually no getting away from it as coins fly in the air for your 2x win and the win amount appears in big letters right in the middle of the screen
Also casinos hypocritically spout responsible gaming whilst using the same techniques . Deposit button is green , withdrawal button is red etc

I always have sounds on, but via headphones which I leave on my desk - never on my head. But it's all true what you mention SlotGrinder. I am quite picky when it comes to slots and only play a few. A less dangerous slot for me in terms of balance is Cloud Quest. I love the visual effects most and had quite a few decent wins on it. A RG session for me would be playing slots with low to medium variance at higher stakes. Just a couple of 100x, maybe 200x wins here and there make me quite happy.

Yeh whenever I lose a big balance its because Im chasing some hard to get bonus on a merkur game (over 500 spins at £5 on Gold of Persia the other day :( didn't end well) or because I keep buying bonuses and gambling them hoping for that max megaways start  When you get it in your head that a massive win could be just around the corner it becomes very hard to stop

Very true SlotGrinder! And most Merkur games can be absolutely brutal (they're no longer available to Dutch players, maybe that's a good thing).

When spinning $10 on B., I was adamant to get 100x or 200x, THEN I would end the session. Unfortunately the slot was dead and I couldn't stop...

Understandable if you're a low roller. I got exactly the same promo, but CS knows that I usually deposit around $270 a week. Unfortunately the time frame doesn't fit my schedule, but I often get rewards if I don't cash out...
