Baptism by Fire Vernons Casino - failed

I think we should wait until we hear what Vernon's say.

IMO, bishbash should put his money where his mouth is (so to speak) and submit a PAB, so BOTH sides of the story can be considered by Max and Bryan.

There are some things about this that don't add up.

Agreed - the previous response was given with the assumption that all the details of this case were clear, which may not be the situation. I have to say however that i immediately want to back away from any operation that starts requesting NID on a regular bases.

Guys, you'll see from my previous posts that I raised my complaint with Ask Gamblers, where there was an active representative at the time. I joined here to PAB, when Vernons asked me to send notarised documents,. At the time, the representative wasn't a registered representative, or if he was, he wasn't active. However, since the representative became active on here, I sent him a message, and I didn't receive a reply. To me, that looks like he was not interested in resolving the complaint, right?

I am more than happy to submit a PAB. As you'll see from my previous posts, I just didn't think it would be ok to do so after all this time and especially after they have basically told me to fxxx off on another site. Also, there seems to be less empathy for players who take these no-deposit bonuses. I still have copies of all email correspondence and I have screenshots of the cashier part of my account, showing what slots I played, how much I played and how much I won.

Do you not think it odd that they haven't sent me a copy of the information they hold about me? I believe, they are required to do so, by law, if a customer asks. And, why have I never had problems with William Hill or Betfair?

Oh yeah, and after them basically saying I was a fraud, why am I still able to get into my account? Why have they not closed my account?

BishBash - i'm not implying you're wrong or misconstruing anything, simply that we haven't heard both sides of the story. I have a lot of respect for AG, but as Vernon's have specifically asked for Accreditation here they may be more open to a dialogue with CM. I also have my doubts, but you've nothing to lose by trying a PAB. The fact that this was a no deposit bonus should make no ends what-so-ever. If you did not break any specific rules you should be paid and that's the end of the story.

Sorry, ThePOGG. I realise, reading my post back, I sounded a bit defensive. Please, excuse me - I'm pregnant and a bit erm, hormonal. :axeman2:

So, do you think it is still worthwhile submitting a PAB? I didn't think it would be, and given what I've written in this thread, would it still be ok to do so?

Thanks in advance.

I didn't take any offense at all so there's no need to apologise. I'm about to become an uncle - good luck with your term.

I do think it's worth an attempt - Max is the only one who can say if it's still possible - but if Vernon's are not prepared to communicate with him about this issue, it gives valuable information to the CM team regarding exactly what this thread is all about.

Just wanted to confirm that the Vernons rep does monitor. Notarised documentation is rare and I think the common link between all these examples is a player using the no deposit bonus winning and then making an immediate withdrawal. In such cases further clarification has been sort of a players identity to conform to KYC requirements.

Cheers,

James

To top this all off... The Rep hasn't even been to this thread in recent times.

It baffles me that they seek Accreditation but fail to even visit the site OR their Baptism thread to look if everything is in order.

I was advised earlier in this thread that notarised documents were RARELY asked for... There have been a number of cases already put forward where this has been asked for.

BTW - I don't think its ANYONE'S duty to notify the rep of this thread - He is aware and if he seeks Accreditation for Vernons, it would be appropriate for him to at the very least log in and read or participate in discussions.

I'm going to contest that James, at least on the grounds that your post implys this is only happening with no deposit players - i've been contacted by a player using Vernon's deposit sign up bonus who's been asked for NID seeking advice. So this isn't just confined to 'no deposit' players, with the cavet that i may not be aware of all of the details of this case. My responce was that so as long as the win is worth the effort of obtaining the ID do so.

Sure thing, do it now!

Hi James - well this was six weeks ago. Apparently you haven't taken this "Baptism by Fire" thing very seriously - but I do.

It is unacceptable that this issue has been left dangling like this. We also have an open PAB that has not been dealt with properly by your casino management going on two months now (Littlewoods).

Baptism by Fire - fail. Please come back and try it again in six months. Thank you.

Well they've probably failed for the next 6 months too, judging by the recent thread about notarized ID for big winners, ermm.... sorry big winners we want to keep waiting as long as possible so they reverse their wins ahem.
