It's a shame though. Intercasino was our top casino years ago. They have gone through a number of changes over the years, but back in the day they were absolutely number one.

I guess this may be a growing trend with the nanny state the UK is in right now. If that's the case, I really can't blame them.

I agree its a shame. As a UK player I think restrictions will get tighter and tighter leaving a handful of operators with maximum stakes at who knows what or something crazy like that. Obviously not worried about the bad operators so it should do some cleaning but I think it may go to far.

Never had any issue with them from small to large withdrawals, to KYC etc.

They were great some 10+ years ago. I even remember them introducing a LIFETIME monthly bonus at some point. That lifetime turned out to be quite short.

Sad to see such reputable brands abandoning the UK market. Once the UKGC put max bet rules in place and have a minimum spin time of 2.5 seconds then I can lots more jumping ship.

Probably the beginning of the end a desperate attempt to bring in more customers but when you get 10 coins just for logging in and can get free spins for just 61 coins it cant have been profitable for them.

I think we have reached that point here in Sweden. We have that 3sec rule. No max bet tho, and we have autospins.
But casinos are not allowed to offer us any bonuses apart from the welcome bonus. So after you have used the welcome bonus, every site is more or less the same nowadays.
Not sure how much that hurts the casinos profit, but i imagine they make quite a bit of money running promotions and giving out bonuses to entice players etc.
I think when the license runs out, alot of casinos will choose to not renew it.

This is very much my view on this. Making money out of gamblers in the UK is like shooting fish in a barrel, the only difference now is that the casinos aren't allowed to use rocket launchers from half a mile away, and instead have to actually follow some rules and regulations.

The ones who can't or won't are more than welcome to bugger off, as far as I'm concerned.

It always amazes me that some gamblers stand up for the dodgy casinos in these scenarios, as opposed to the regulators who are trying to look after their interests, instead inventing sinister theories about how it's all just a racket in order to levy fines.

Would have rather seen some others go before this company. .however, perhaps the slowest customer service response out there so not overly upset by this.

As said before, would prefer if we got to a stage where there was enough choice for players but only between reputable organisations. The market was diluted with so much absolute shit and through heightened compliance these clip joints are getting caught out time and again where before they had carte blanche to do whatever they liked.

No it's not. They realise they made a mistake years ago handing out licences like free samples! They are simply cleaning up the mess which they created. They have done more in the last year to clean up the industry than ever before. There are now much clearer rules, responsible gambling tools and less shady operators out there. Happy to throw them under the bus when needed but need to give credit where it's due. Online gambling should be a safe and secure environment.

Great post. There are a lot on here who stick up for the operators even when its proven beyond doubt that they aren't following rules and regs, really bizarre stuff.
