Just had terrible service from V&J's online chat team. Asked a simple question why a few slots have vanished(which I played a lot) only to be told 'no idea'...'it could be a few reasons'. It was like pulling teeth until they came back with 'it could be one of 2 reasons'...Erm...why not simply find out for me or at least be honest and say you'll check and get back to me later?

I know I'm ranting but I was then told the games have been disabled(Raging Rhino & Steam Tower to name a few) only then to be told it's temp however they have no idea when the slots will return.

I'm currently waiting for a withdrawal to complete then I'm afraid I'll be closing this account down. Poor poor show V & J after a promising start.
 
Most likely it will be because of your country local gambling laws. I played quite a lot at Vera & John, but suddenly all Netent slots disappeared. Anyway, I contacted livechat to ask for the reason I could no longer see any Netent slots, but they immediately told me that they could no longer offer any Netent slots to Belgian residents, because of Belgium's strict gambling laws :(

But I can't say a bad word about their customer service, never had any problem with them.
 
Same in denmark they only got IGT/play'n'go now a days, but the few times i contacted live chat they where always very helpfull.

Dont really play there anymore cause of the small amount of slots, but i know they got a small licenss so they cant go big.

I hear that quite a lot about country gambling laws i'm just curious how that actually applies when actions happen outside of ones borders Isn't it logical to assume
that unless the casino was based within ones country would the gambling laws not apply ? and be subject to the legal system in country where the casino was based
and where the gambling was 'actually' taking place.
 
It's becoming common practice for any local gambling law to utilize 'point of consumption'. Mostly because the majority of companies would be based outside the country, but the law applies to the customers you service.

The Belgian law is a funny one, you need to have a class A license (be, or have a partnership with, a local landbased casino) to be able to offer all known casino types. When you are an arcade, or have a partnership with an arcade, you get a class B license. There's restrictions under the class B license, but a game type that is allowed is 'dice' games. One way to still offer class A game types, under a class B license, is to replace all graphics with dice symbols. That suddenly makes it a 'dice game'.

Hence why you see so many slots in the Belgian market, even with class B license holders, but they all have dice symbols.

It's so typical 'Belgian' :)
