I am away from home at the moment and wanted to have a little fun at Vera & John.

Tried to log-in - but got an "unrecognised user or password" error.
This is not the first time this has happened, so I tried the "Reset Password" feature - only to get a message which said "Unrecognised e-mail address"!
This was obviously BS, since I have had the same e-address since I joined there more than 3 years ago.

I contacted support via e-mail (because Live Chat was off-line at the time) and after a few mails, they basically said I could only log-in when I am in the UK. :what:

The is totally stupid and annoying - I don't have any problems at any other similar "NetEnt based" casinos.
    My bitches are:
    a) I can't play abroad.
    b) There is no message saying "Sorry, you can't log-in from your current location" - just a "You don't exist" message.

V&J have just gone WAY down in my list of favourite casinos to lose my money at...

I don't understand your moan here. This is basically the same at all casinos even highly rated 32Red? I get blocked when on holiday in Denmark when I go to see family and friends.

What you should just do is use HMA vpn and you will have no problems any places I have done that myself.

I fully follow you in moaning about that suddenly you don't exist and looks like you password is wrong or email not recognized. But I have also had that happen on a different Casino cant remember exactly which one.

It all depends which country you are in? As of course they have to follow all the license laws. Reason I am fine using bet365 or betsafe when abroad as they are licensed both countries if for example I go to Denmark.

But again I still don't understand why Vera&John deserves their own bitch moan thread? You might as well done it general instead why can I not play abroad? Which I do not understand ur moaning about has been discussed several times here at Casinomeister and I am surprised you would not know better. Also best is to contact the Casino you want to play at "BEFORE" you go abroad or start playing as they could do a FU if you get a big win.

To finish off on a positive note. Look at the bright side mate you haven't lost any money :p and enjoy your holiday wherever you are :)

    Woah.

NO way possible is this a solid advice. Only fraudsters use VPN.

As this thread has been bumped (along with my memory!), it's only fair to say that my issue was resolved and that I COULD play abroad.

The issue was, that I was trying to log-in to VeraJohn.com instead of VeraJohn.co.uk.
When I was in the UK, my bookmark to .com automatically re-directed to the correct URL of .co.uk - so I never even noticed. When I was out of the UK, this didn't happen and that was why I "didn't exist".

So my apologies go out to V&J for starting this thread!

Yes and?? if you're not a fraudster then you have nothing to worry about. As long contact casino first before playing. I also made full advise to KK and he prob already knows that so no need to lecture me

About as dumb a comment as I have read. Of course its only fraudsters who use VPN! I hope there is irony in your post.

I use hideman to unblock all regions of my netlixx account .... does that make me a fraudster ?
I also use hideman when abroad to get a number of key UK services that other wise can be a pita to reach.

    VPN Rocks for many things.
